Lowe's is probably OK if you can pick something out yourself. However, if you need assistance you're out of luck. On a recent visit I needed a piece of glass cut to size, after 5 or 6 pages and waiting 25 minutes, someone finally showed up to do the job. Today was even worse. I needed a piece of plywood cut down the middle. No kidding, after many pages and waiting for at least 45 minutes I gave up. In the next 45 minutes I drove to Home Depot, picked out the wood, had it cut, and drove back to where I started. I guess I should have done that in the first place and saved myself the frustration of waiting at Lowe's for non-existent help. There were 2 other people waiting for the same help. One also gave up and headed for Home Depot, the other was still waiting when I left. They might still be standing there.

I was waiting in line to be checked out , only two registers open and no self checkout when the cashier in my line began yelling at the other cashier. She finished with the customer ahead of me and snarled at me saying "I told you I was closed!". I was so taken aback that I left without my purchase. I phoned the store after leaving and spoke to Chris the manager who didn't seem to care. VERY Disappointed! No apology offered!

If I could give a zero I would.. only one person at customer service and several employees just hanging around.. how about open another line? Nope. Then only self serve kiosks. One employee for four people checking themselves out. You do understand your clientele? Several are elderly and struggle with the machines.. but yes have four or five employees walking around. Honestly expectations for this place is low.. and they seemed to even lower the bar

Everything was fine at Lowe's today. I did not give it a five star because they had the self check out lane open and they tried to get me to do it. I hate the self check out. I only go to the lines where a person does the check out. You should open more actual checkout lanes. There are so many people working there and yet you still have to wait to check out with only one lane open. Just my two cents. I always go to Lowes over Home Depot. But get another check out lane open.

This store is beyond horrible. The customer service is awful; we heard an employee say when someone called, and she disconnected them, ' they'll call back,' and laughed. We ordered a stove, and sent the wrong outlet; we were without one for over a week. We ordered carpet, and they gave the wrong information, so it will not be installed for almost a month now, When we call, they yoyo you all over the store, trying to find 'someone' to help............what a joke. I will NEVER give them another penny, much less buy anything major again. I cannot believe, from all the reviews I have read, that people continue to frequent these stores. I hope Home Depot is not terrible, as I will try them next. I guess billionaires don't really need the customer because why else would they treat people the way they do. It is truly mind-boggling.

Lowes is falsely advertising the delivery date of the Gorilla Playsets. The manufacturer is actually 4 to 6 weeks from the order date but Lowes is unwilling to accurately represent the lead time on their website. I placed my order on 4/19 with a 5/10 delivery date. I am now being told 6/14 which is 8-weeks from delivery. Lowes now has my money and I have no other option than to wait 5 more weeks for my playset to arrive. Lowes made no effort to correct this issue other than offer 5% off the purchase price which wont correct this in time for my son's birthday in 1 week who asked for a playset.

Been to a few different lowe's I the area. The parking lot was a hot mess, hopefully it's just the normal winter wear and tear and they will take care of filling pot holes and paving. I was here to pick up some plants and flowers for a work event. The garden center was super busy with unfortunately only one cashier available. The selection was decent, with more items arriving everyday. The need more staff on site, seems like they can't keep up with the demands.

Let's be honest- nobody goes to Lowes first when looking for something. Lowes is the last resort when you can't find something at home depot or any other "home improvement firm". Lowes has always been the store I loathed going to with my parents. We always were in the car for an hour at that point, couldn't find something we were looking for, spent 45 minutes in Lowes and never found it. The thing that tipped me over the edge to write this review was when I went to go pick up an order in one of the lockers; there was supposed to be five or six packs of flat washers. When I got there, I put my pickup number in, opened it, and low and behold ONE PACK OF WASHERS IN THE WRONG SIZE. How could someone mix this up? The washers different sizes and some of them were plastic while the others were metal. Maybe hire competent staff instead of neckbeards who live in their parent's basement and were told to get a job or get out. Overall terrible experience experience; never going back.

I ordered 7/16 osb 4x8. I went to the store for curbside pickup and they brought out 5/8 without me knowing and away I went . Got home laid the wood and it was 5/8 without knowing. Had to rip it out and now lowes is telling me too bad! Terrible customer service

This is the closest home improvement store to our home! We've always had good luck here!! We ordered our riding lawn mower from here when we first moved in! It was delivered on the day promised, at the time promised. It was a great price! We frequently come here on the weekends; light bulbs, lawn supplies, lumbar, home projects. The cashier staff is always helpful and kind at check out. We needed sandbags to hold down our trampoline, and two workers in the area loaded them up for us, they were so heavy! Prices are always comparable to the other big box improvement store! Definitely recommend!

After being treated like crap from the delivery crew right up to claims I would recommend you don’t buy appliances from this store. I’ve been going through hell since June 5th with them. Scratching my door which they promised to replace and now they aren’t to scratching my brand new cupboards. I’m still waiting for the replacement refrigerator 4 months later. They are rude and have poor Custer service.
When you call corporate there’s no one at a higher level that you can talk to. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THEM!

Before I shop at Lowe's again hell would have to freeze over. We bought a stove, refrigerator and Microwave on June 5th of this year, and I still don't have the right refrigerator. 1st delivery the refrigerator was damaged as they brought it in and the delivery crew tried to jam it through my front door, needless to say they scratched my front door. 2nd attempted delivery they brought the wrong refrigerator and the delivery guy said this one is more expensive than yours! If you want it I'll just give you it. I said no that was not the one I ordered. 3rd attempt to bring a refrigerator they were very careful bringing it in but once again it was dented. 4th attempt to deliver it, I went outside to look at it to make sure everything was ok, it looked fine. As the delivery crew brought it in they banged it on my door again, then banged it on my cupboard which they scratched and also banged it on my granite counter. 5th attempt to Deliver they called and said they didn't have it and I would have to wait till November. We went in the store a few times because nobody would return our calls, Tony who was the manager of delivery told us to pick out a new door to replace the scratched one, so we did. Then I get an e- mail from there claims department stating that they will not replace the door and wanted to settle by giving us $356.00. That amount doesn't even pay for 1/4 of the door. I called Lowe's because the woman in claims said that the gentleman who came to look at the door said it needed to be replaced but didn't explain why. I asked if he could please put the reason why down. At this point Tony was gone and I was dealing with two gentleman named Stan and Dan. Dan called me and stated that it is out of Lowe's hands at this point because now claims will take over. This has been a nightmare for 4 months and we still are waiting for a refrigerator without dents. We shopped at the Lowe's on Ridge Road.

I don't understand why businesses spend thousands of dollars in advertising to get you into the store, but then once you are there, you get terrible customer service. I was there around 7:00 pm on 6/24/21. For the entire time I was shopping, there was only 1 cashier open. When I was ready to check out, the line snaked all around to the paint aisle. I got tired of waiting, so I just abandoned my cart. Yet during my time shopping I saw a lot of employees just walking around and chit-chatting with each other. It would have been helpful if they knew how to run a cash register. I hope I have better luck with Home Depot.

December 28 th 2020 I ordered a snow blower from The Greece NY Lowes. I paid $69.00 for delivery. I received it January 18th 2021. It was in horrible shape. Rust spots,Covered in Dirt,Missing Head light cover, The spark plug was cracked, it had no oil in the Engine, missing key needed to operate the snow blower and the auger was beat up. I first called the Warranty phone number. They told me to call the store. I spoke with several employees at that Lowes. Everyone was useless. I was told by one employee they no longer had that model and they will upgrade to the next model for free. (Never got the upgrade) Another Employee said they Had 18 of model in stock! I spent at least two hours talking to employees. They kept forwarding my call to other employees. It wasn't until January 23rd I got the replacement. Keep in mind the Lowes store is less than 2 miles from my home. The worst experience I ever had! Do not Shop Lowes!

Truly the worst Lowes around. Been going multiple times, inventory usually wrong, misplaced or out. Tried using on line checkout twice. Waited 15 minutes both times. Now drive 10 minutes further to Home Depot
