I needed to get some new small house plants that were babies with room to grow that were also dog friendly, they walked me around and helped me pick out a variety of choices! This place was warm and cozy with a great vibe. Will be back indefinitely!

Stopped on in for the Yelp event, and appreciate the Succulent we got to take home. The green house was well layed out with tons of plants to look at. Everything was well taken care of and looked to be of good quality.

I was very impressed with this florist. It's much larger than it looks from the outside. I liked how healthy the plants were and that they also had many sizes of plants to choose from. The woman who waited on me was very helpfulAnd other staff I saw were also friendly. I got my free Yelp succulent and plan to go back there after I move.

This place is impressive and extensive -- esp considering it is RIGHT in the heart of Irondequoit! What a delightful escape from urban life, to the nurturing greenhouse of Genrich's! The day I went, it was DUMPING rain outside, which made for amazing soothing acoustics inside. Everything is separated into sections (houseplants, planters, succulents, herbs, etc.) and very well-marked. They have fantastic COVID-19 protocols (limiting the # of customers inside, one-way foot-traffic flow with tape marked on floor, sanitizer available & mask-wearing enforced) And they are super helpful without being over-bearing! I left with a beautiful succulent plant, as well as some planters for re-potting some African Violets I have at home. They helped me select the right type of soil for successful transplant, and gave great tips. They even told me about a service they offer for helping repot your plants -- call them first to discuss the health of your plants and what you have in mind, and they'll get you set-up! Overall a lovely experience at Genrich's!

I've been here twice so far and always end up walking out with more than I intended! I know virtually nothing about plants and their staff is always super knowledgeable and approachable! They have a great selection of everything and so far, I've yet to kill anything I've bought! I'll be back once it's warm enough to plant flowers outside my new home.

It is super easy to get into the parking lot and easily to spot where the greenhouse is.They are very organizing everything and it looks very clean. The employees are very friendly and very helpful when I asked where can I pick up the succulent plant and a pot. I saw three different succulent plants and I had a hard time deciding because they are adorable I like this greenhouse because it feels more cozy and quite different from garden factory I usually go. Thank you for a rich experience and beautiful flowers!!!

I'm always on the hunt for a local greenhouse/garden center. A few around the Rochester area have gone and I'd much purchase my herbs and assorted summer porch plants from a locally place than one of the big box stores. I'm a transplant and I've only been here about six years and this was my very first visit but not my last. They have all of your indoor/outdoor plant needs. They also carry Herbs for your garden and low light plants for those areas on your porch than doesn't necessarily get a lot of light. Beautiful hanging plants, hydrangea and more. They also have a little store on the side I think it might be the florist part and it looks like they are doing an upgrade. They have cards and some small gifts for yourself or friends/family. You are warmly greeted when you arrive and staff could not be more helpful and warm. I got a plant and as someone who does not have potting soil until herb growing time. I had asked if it was possible to replant and add soil to my new pot since I really can't do it at home. They did it graciously and gave me some good tips on how to take care of my little plant. Just an FYI vessels/pots for your plants are priced accordingly considering it's a convenient place to get everything at one place, the prices are moderate. Everyone seems to like being there a plus. I will be back for my herbs and assorted plants. Give it a whirl. They have a parking lot.. Cheers!

Wow! What an amazing place! I love plants and I walked in here and was like a kid in a candy store. When you walk in the gardens feel like they go on for miles because the place is just so vast and has so much to see. There are so many types of plants, colors and sizes to view. It was so nice to see some much foliage after a long winter. The layout is very easy to follow and the plants are all in good health. There is also a good selection of gardening tools and pottery for the more advanced gardener! Some more fun things I saw were garden in a bag which appears to be like a kids beginner gardener set, so super inclusive for even the less experienced planter! After chatting with the store owners a little bit the gardens have been here since the 1960s and was family owned and run so it's always nice to support local businesses! They also make deliveries to the hospital during the weekdays. Definitely a great place to grab a few items for oneself or as a gift for others. Highly recommend stopping by

Not only are they following great protocol, the shop is full of light and lovey accents. I have a new succulent that needed a home, and the team came to help seeing me indecisive. It was a good thing, too, because I would have left with a vase too tight for my new plant. It's a lovey container. I also left with some catnip seeds. Even if I can't make most plants grow, if I can get these grow, at least my cat will benefit.

The staff are so amazing here. They helped me find exactly what I needed. They have so many plants and flowers. I picked up a herb for my household and it's a large four inch pot and it's so healthy looking. I resisted buying plants for the yard but I will be back when I am ready to plant
