New to the area, visited this location for the first time yesterday. Immediately upon entering store looked to be pretty organized. The gentleman at the register was pleasant and efficient. Recyclable bag was great :-)

Highly unlikely to ever shop here again front end cashier was rude rolled her eyes cursed this establishment was very very unprofessional ,staff member was just rude an unhelpful. I highly do not recommend this establishment.

Love it always gets my baby Pampers here every since I moved into town very nice place with nice people and this family dollar always have Pampers and shelf's stock best one I've been to in Rochester love going here and will continue I don't even bother with any other family dollar unless I have too because of distance

This family dollar is the cleanest store in Rochester NY . I love going to this store I find wath I need with no problem the workers are awesome nice and friendly..

Good to go! Panhandlers have been eliminated at this mini shopping center. That was my only complaint about it.

I visited Family Dollar on Mt. Read and lyell Ave today. I've noticed over the past year or so that it has been pretty well stocked. The workers' attitudes seem better. The surprise I got when I was ready to leave the store was amazing. One of the workers actually helped me carry my items to my car. SHOUT-OUT!

These hours are a total LIE!!!!!! They close when they feel like closing and well before 10 as stated on hours.

I've have had my fair share of some rude employees here and some great service from others. Even had one that pointed to me everything that was on sale because alot of it was 90% off that day. Ended up with a bunch of cute shirts that day that I still wear and a few pairs of pants. I dont care if anyone know's I dont care to buy brand name clothes. Total waste of money. I dress for comfort not fashion or to look better then anyone else. I walked out that day feeling like a million bucks because i felt like I had one the lottery scoring some new clothes for so cheap. I can afford to buy name brand stuff I chose not to.

The store manager is rude and has absolutely no clue about customer service! I bought a bag of dog food that was on clearance it was the last bag and flavor so I figured they were discontinuing the flavor. Well my dogs picked at it for a few days which is not like them so I checked the bag out and it expired 2 YEARS AGO and was MOLDY. The manager was rude and just wanted to pass the blame on someone else so I guess I'm going to have to write a letter or call the corporate office.
