I was rear-ended by one of Erie Insurance's clients. Erie was awful to deal with throughout the whole process. I had an appointment for their insurance adjuster to come to my work while I was on break because my work location was more convenient for him. He was 45 minutes late. Then I was given to two different adjusters and didn't know who I was dealing with. Throughout the process, phone calls were avoided, emails not returned and so on. While my truck was in the shop they called me and told me that they weren't paying for the rental vehicle any longer and I had to return it. Now remember, I was the victim of their client and they treated me awfully. This has been one of the absolute worst experiences of my life. I definitely won't ever be using them for my insurance provider and I highly recommend that you read the rest of the reviews on Google before doing business with them.

One of there drivers hit me and for some reason I owe on my car but don't worry my lawyer will be getting a hold of them and they will pay for my car

Very unprofessional!!It's been a month since one of Erie Insurance's clients totaled my van. I have never in my life encountered an insurance company so unprofessional, no compassion at all. I had to use my own insurance company for what their client did to my vehicle. Once I did get a claim #, the rep became offensive because I told her I was having a problem understanding her because of her accent, and hung up on me. Called to speak to her supervisor and he condoned her behavior. After these interactions they stopped answering the phone when I called. I can't figure out why these people are still in business!!

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with Erie Insurance, a company that has caused me more frustration than any other insurance provider I have dealt with. Not only did they fail to fulfill their obligation to cover my expenses, but I also experienced blatant racism from the agent handling my case.The first issue I encountered was Erie Insurance's refusal to pay for costs they should have covered. Despite having all the necessary documentation and following the required procedures, they repeatedly denied my claims, leaving me with a sense of betrayal. This has made me question the integrity and reliability of the company, as it seems they are more interested in collecting premiums than in genuinely helping their customers when they need it the most.However, the most disappointing aspect of my experience with Erie Insurance was the treatment I received from the agent responsible for my case. The agent exhibited clear signs of racial bias, making derogatory comments and treating me with a level of disrespect that I had never experienced before in any professional setting. This behavior was not only offensive but also severely affected the way my case was handled.

It's been over 3 MONTHS from being rear-ended on the thruway on Dec 25th...haven't received ONE PENNY from them, had a NYS Trooper report showing other driver was at fault!! Unbelievable customer service!!

Hopefully you never get hit by someone that has this insurance. Erie will try and make you claim it on your insurance even when you have a police report stating it was their customers fault.

Made over 50 calls, left numerous voice messages. They keep assigning different adjusters hourly and no one has returned my calls or messages it’s been over 30 hrs & still waiting to get through. Thankfully I am not their customer. Filing a claim through them because one of their policy holders smashed into my car. Very Frustrated..

Probably one of the worst insurance companies ever. I have had nothing but problems with this company. I have asked for another adjuster and have called the manger of claims Mike Serranini. I have not received a call back from anyone, yet they tell my agent KL HUDSON they have. Finally received call last week from Timothy Thomspn (adjuster) to inform me that the 7 page excel printout with totals that I had notarized and provided him, was not good enough and that I would need to hand write out. He told me that Erie is not capable of using digital document nor could he use the file from the 2 other adjusters that Erie already has.Erie Insurance is great at taking your money, when you actually need them for the insurance part, well most likely you'll end up like me doing countless pages of paper work. Being lied to that they emailed you & returned your calls. When in all actuality you would just like yo be made hole again and have a company that cares about their clientele.
