“One of the best Dollar Tree stores in the area. It's organized, you can find what you need, and plus more. Loses a star because there were boxes in some of the aisles of things that needed to be stocked up, but you're still able to maneuver around them to navigate the store.”

“I have never found an issue at the Dollar Tree on Culver and Main but it is a shame that it will not answer you as to when it first opened at that location is it a big secret”

“So my bride was assisting in a bridal shower and decided to go out of her mind overbuying things for the shower and we had to return a number of items. With any place returns suck. She asked me to go with her and to my amazement it was actually a pleasant surprise. We were first greeted by someone who I didn’t catch her name but she deferred us to Georgia who I’m sure had no interest in dealing with us but assisted with nothing but pleasantries. You gave us the prerequisite that we may not be able to exchange all items due to them not all being available at this specific location and we understood. We found our new items to take place of the previously purchased and came to the register. This was 10 mins before closing time. The transaction was swift and the conversation was pleasant. This blew my mind and I will never hesitate to shop at this location. This speaks volumes for a lost art of customer service. Her performance should be commended. Thank you Georgia!”

“I stopped by this location today with my family. Im usually not in this area, but was running errands. I was completely impressed with how clean and organized this location was today. I'm not use to that when walking in any family dollar locations. The staff were amazing and so polite. It was 2 African American males and an African American woman working. All 3 greeted me at one point in the store. When I say not a box or rack was on the floor or in the way or visible. I literally never seen clear aisles before in any family dollar. We were only suppose to pick up mouth wash, but ended up spending $65 due to just loving the store. So I made it my mission to leave a review.”

“Fine shopping center if I do say so myself. The tiled floor is ultra modern and is very inviting upon arrival... Nothing but the best! Such a great place in the thriving Waring Plaza.Although, I am sad to report that on one occasion I had a severe case a belotedness and as a result I laid a few farts in the store. The gal at the front end was deeply perturbed and grossed out. I had explained to her that the night before I had, on the request of a cool cat named Enrique, to try some rice and frijoles. Needless to say the meal "escaped me" and some farts escaped. This facility should be more sympathetic to one's bowels and gas output. Cheers!”

“I shop here often when I am in the neighborhood. The store isn't sparkling clean or anything, but when I go they are well-stocked (for the most part) and usually have what I need. The evening cashier that's there when I go in on Saturday nights is always nice to me and is friendly with all of his Customers. As a former cashier, I know it's a thankless job, and he is doing a wonderful job and keeps a positive attitude! :)”
“So I come here on a regular occasion. I always walk in for 1 2 3 things. And I walk out with 20. So I was here yesterday and I did the same thing as I always do I came for two things and literally walked out with over $20 in stuff. I came back today because I ended up with a candy bar and my coat pocket that I did not pay for. I made sure to get here before they closed and the doors were locked 8 minutes before 9:00. I came all the way out here to return an item that was $1.25 due to a guilty conscious cuz I actually ended up eating the Godiva candy bar.. The employees came out at 9:00 and would not allow me to pay for this. They told me to keep it. I don't think it's their right to allow and or give something away being that it's not their money and they don't own the store.”
“I was starting not to like this store however it has changed, it's more cleaner, although I personally haven't had an issue with any employee I see how they deal with others and I'd say maybe work on customer service skills a bit more, respectfully.”

“I seen an employee here pull out her taser on a shoplifter. These stores have a really tough job with all the shoplifting happening these days. I give them props for the work they have to do.”
“Ive gone to this store consistently for the last 4 years, it’s been terrible aside from these last few months. The previous female manager was rude, made poor hiring choices, the store was always in shambles and being robbed. The new guys have kept the store stocked, organized and CLEAN. In my 4 years of coming to this store, this is the first time the floors have been mopped. These new young men are making an actual difference, they’re always polite also which makes the experience that much better. Whichever higher management reviews these, please keep these good young men around!”
“Family Dollar on Portland Avenue and Draper Street is the usual one that I use. For the most part they have everything I need. And now that The Rite Aid pharmacy on Portland is closed, I seem to be going to Family dollar a little bit more. Can't quite figure out why I don't give it that fifth star but I'm sure it'll come to me soon.”
