I booked a double appt for my two cats. We've gone there for 15 years with all my pets. This was by far the worst experience. I waited over an hour for my appt while everyone else was taken care of. Then l was taken into a room and they forgot about me while everyone was laughing and joking including the vet. When l threatened to lezve l was told they'd be right in. Then l was told they lost my records. They still didn't draw the shots, l waited 10 more minutes, no vet,no tech. They wanted to charge me for a double appt. I was like try it. J7st don't go there. They are overpriced, don't care about your pet, your time, and think e erything is funny. Find a vet with a staff that cares. Coldwater only cares about money. Not your pet.

I would highly recommend this practice. The vet is very caring and kind. She was patient with me and answered all my questions after my puppy's surgery. The office staff is always professional and thoughtful. I normally don't leave reviews but after reading the negative reviews and my experience with this office I feel compelled to rate this office. I have had nothing but a positive experience.

In response to Coldwater s generic response regarding Oliver. Oliver is one year, 9 months in age, and has been to your practice several times. His last visit was within the last 6 months - and we have documented proof of this. Also, the phone call requested was to discuss an echocardiogram that was completed by a specialist, and sent to you for review. There was nothing more your office could have completed to discuss those findings. Next time, please do better to avoid the paper trail of proof, and pick up a phone.

Oliver has a congenital heart disease called restrictive cardiomyopathy with high risk of ATE. It was found when an emergency vet heard the arrhythmia during an exam. The X-ray also showed his heart enlarged. This signaled a reason for a referral for an ultrasound. I called Oliver's routine vet, Coldwater Animal Hospital to verify records had been received. They stated they had not been. I called the next day, and the day after - with the same results. On the third day, I personally forwarded Oliver's records, verified they had been received, and asked them if they could have a doctor call me back. They never called. Instead, they demanded I load Oliver into a car, cause a nervous system response (since he doesn't travel well), only to place more stress on his left ventricle in order to discuss my concerns. Why would I do this?! After several visits, they never once examined Oliver in front of me. They missed the arrhythmia caused by a congenital defect. They ran blood tests with no mention of high AST, ALT, and PHOS. They administered anesthesia without proper adjustments while ALT was elevated 2.6 TIMES OVER normal, and claimed Oliver had a hard time waking up after because, he's smooch faced. They overlooked an obstruction that would have ended in death if I hadn't went to a different clinic for a second opinion. And they have NEVER called me back regarding any questions I have had. I write this to bring awareness to those of us who truly love their fur family. I am not blaming Coldwater Animal Hospital for missing many signs. I am blaming them for not having empathy, compassion, or professionalism in a career they chose. I would not recommend Coldwater Animal Hospital for any service.

finally a thorough vet where animal health is the priority. I've been to 8 different local vets over the years with myriad animals. I've seen veterinary care change in the last decade where the primarily focus has been placed upon racking up extraneous fees. Required testing and weekly visits for med refills etc. My primary visit here was met with super techs, outstanding DVM. The layout is effective so that sick/ injured/scared animals going in are not mixing with animals leaving, so as to avoid co mingling and potentially charged situations. they were thorough, informed, flexible and cost considerably less without sacrificing care level. Highly recommended FIVE 5-Stars

I left this vet because they leave no room in their schedule to see same day sick pets. It's normal to call with a sick pet and be told to wait days so I moved my dogs to a different vet but my husband refused to move his 15 year old cat. Well he got sick last week by Friday he couldn't eat it looked like his mouth was swollen and he pawed at it this is the same problem he had him in for last week! Well he called on Friday no appointment the vet wS to call and never did, no help on Saturday left to suffer finally saw him Monday afternoon the cat had bitten into his gum and now so infected it was swollen and full of pus. He got good treatment but who needs a vet that makes us wait 4 days for treatment their waiting room is empty there is no annoying wait but it's because they only see a limitted amount of patients No urgent sick ones I'm glad I left my dog got an eye injury the same time and was seen the same day by my new vet! And I won't even talk about the price difference but that's not why I left

I brought my dog into coldwater I told them he couldn't step down on his back leg. They took him to the back and said they couldn't find anything wrong with his leg. I took him home and he yelped every time he stepped down on it he would yelp and cry. I called and said my dog is in so much pain they said to bring him in so I did again. I brought him in and she said she still can't find anything wrong, she gave some pain medicine I went home gave it to my dog it did for him . I finally could not see him suffering after weeks of back and forth and the cost for nothing I finally had to put him down. I loved that dog so much. This is why I hate Coldwater. RIP Dexter.

This place is not good. I feel as if they do not care about your pets. All they are interested in is your money and not the well being of your pets. My dog was left to suffer with no help available to her . Several times I called this place and no help was available to me. They are not compassionate nor are they sympathetic to how you or your pet feel. At the end of the day you will be paying out for crappy service please if you love your pet keep them away from this place

I called their office today for my 12 year old Lia, torn ACL, and they were immediately able to place her for evaluation in 1.5 weeks. Efficient, well informed practice. Thank you.

On my first visit I waited between 15-20 minutes to see the vet. On the second visit, I was 8 minutes late due to traffic, and was told, "Sorry - you'll have to reschedule. In 20 years of taking pets to the vet, this has NEVER happened. Spend your money elsewhere.
