“From our initial tour of the venue, we knew that Atlantis Banquets and Events was where we wanted to have our wedding. If you are looking for an incredibly unique experience, this is it: The venue overlooks the water so guests were able to watch the sunset over the water during cocktail hour, and then, everyone moved inside to the Long Island Aquarium where they were able to dance and dine amongst the fish tanks. The aquarium transformed that evening into what felt like an enchanting underwater forest. Atlantis has an in-house caterer, and the food was exquisite. We received comments from guests who are notoriously picky eaters, and they said this was the first wedding where they’ve been able to eat (and enjoy) the food! There was a huge team working the evening of our wedding, and they kept everything running smoothly. The staff were all incredibly professional and kind throughout the night. We worked with Joan and Bryan throughout the planning process, and they were absolutely wonderful. They were responsive, detailed, and helpful throughout the year as we planned and finalized event details. They also helped us coordinate our after party AND our hotel block (both within a few steps of the venue). I truly think Atlantis Banquets and Events, and the Long Island Aquarium, is a hidden gem of event venues on Long Island. The location is stunning and conveniently located in downtown Riverhead, the venue is so unique and beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff is wonderful. Take a tour of the venue – You won’t regret it!”

“Our son had his 4th & 5th birthday party at Safari Adventure in Riverhead and they were both amazing! Working with Lexi was a dream! She and her team have figuring out the details of your event down pat! The party was well organized, well balanced- between time in the room and time on the floor to play, but most importantly, the kids had a BLAST! They have an in house Spider-Man that you can hire to play games with the kids and do moves with them- he is BY FAR the BEST Spider-Man we have ever experienced!! We would certainly recommend your child's party to take place there!!”

“This place is amazing. It has some great exhibits on penguins and sea lions. I was also surprised that they have exhibits on land animals such as snakes, spiders, scorpions, butterflies ,etc. It is right in the heart of Riverhead as well on the Main St with the shops and restaurants.”

“I’m usually a guest at Marriotts more elite collections and only stayed here for one night, but our experience was incredibly pleasant, especially for the rate. The market was great and the free breakfast was good value without having to leave the hotel. The indoor and outdoor hot tub/pool was a great option to have. The location was wonderful and close to outlets, a Walmart/Target, and EV charging. Thank you Marriott!”
