Used to go to lowes all the time. They instituted a no return policy after 90 days. Not even store credit. Horrible way to lose a loyal customer. Back to HD.

Been a Home Depot customer for years. Always thought Lowes was more expensive. Lately, I found prices to be somewhat better at Lowes; however, I'll be going back to Home Depot again. Home Depot isn't perfect, but it's a heck of a lot better than Lowes. One problem at Lowes is that managers all seem to have different opinions or understanding of Lowes store policies. When you ask a store employee about the "Lowes Price Guarantee" or some other question, you often hear, "It depends on what manager is on duty." For example, I was told that Lowes had a 30 day price matching guarantee. Salesman said, "Find a better price and Lowes will match the price." I had asked for something in writing, but I was told to go to Customer Service. Customer Service, however, couldn't (or wouldn't) provide one. When I asked another store employee if the Price Match Guarantee was 30 days from the purchase date or 30 days from the delivery date (which was almost 2 weeks later), I was told it depended on the manager. When I went to Customer Service, Jake (the Front End Manager) said the price match guarantee was only two weeks. Not 30 days. I guess it really does depend on the manager. No consistency. Also, when you return something, make sure you check your receipt before you go. I had returned various items on several receipts, and the Customer Service Rep at the Returns Desk neglected to scan one item. It was a small item for around $7.00, but I didn't notice it until I got home. Not a big deal, but they said they had to review the "Las Vegas" ceiling camera to review the return. When they did not call back, I had to call them several times after which they said everything was scanned correctly, but that one of the items had been scanned twice and then it was removed. I think this is where the error occurred. I returned 7 items, but they only credited me for 6. Anyway, not a big deal. Just kind of made me feel like they thought I was trying to get away with something. Seemed rather silly for a $7.00 item. It wasn't the $7.00 as much as it was the principal of the thing. Riverhead Lowes, you can keep the $7.00, but it's unlikely that I will be back.

If you have another choice take it, I've been waiting 3 weeks for a dishwasher that was in stock when I ordered it. The salesman told me it was in the back he even went to check because I would have picked a different mode. after it didn't come I called and was on hold for over an hour just to be told they didn't save my number or name to the order and that it was on back order and I'd have to wait or cancel the order. I called again because this is the second time I wasn't informed it wasn't coming and that that's just the way this system works. I hate this Lowe's now and I hope people read this so they don't have to experience the frustration I have had to endure.

the speakers that they have outside are nauseating. I know I'm at lowes, these loud ass speakers don't need to tell me welcome to lowes. it's annoying and so unnecessarily loud

Hi came into Lowe’s because I am renovating my home and I had the best experience I’ve ever had in any large store comparable to Lowe’s. It was super organized and the person that helped me was so knowledgeable on every product and what I needed I would describe the work being done and he told me exactly what they would need to do the work. I even picked up some extra items for my contractor. I signed up for a pro card To save money on my transaction and for future purchases as well. Adam Jackson was the most helpful sales representative I’ve ever had in my life. Keep in mind I was dreading this trip and it turned out to be so easy. I was in and out and off to my next errand. I wish all of my experience is in retail stores were like this. Great job Adam Jackson. Lowes is lucky to have you

Where do I begin to tell you the Greatest Story of the WORST EXPERIENCE of my life with Lowes Cabinetry Dept.? It all started a year ago April of 2021. We met with a female employee who claims to be a seasoned employee with the company for 8 years. We sat down with her a few times to design of our kitchen for our Condo. Mistakes were made from the very beginning by her regarding the design, measurements, reordering of damaged cabinets at least 3 different times. All three times she did not place the order, we checked and checked until finally someone stepped up and placed the correct orders. After waiting many weeks for the replacements time past and this brought us into the New Year 2022. Here we are April of 2022, and it is finally finished. Due to her total disregard for our patronage after spending thousands of dollars she decided to take her mistakes and ill fate out on us. She was extremely arrogant, nasty, belligerent refused to reply by emails and phone calls. We needed answers and she refused to supply us with them. Kept us guessing for weeks. We then contacted the Assist Manager of the Dept. he gave her certain instructions to correct the issues. She totally disregarded his order and stated she never heard him mention rectifying the mistake that she made. She informed us she would have to check with him again and get back to us with a solution. NEVER DID! STILL WAITING!! We questioned the outcome and she stated he never followed through with it. We wanted to get the issue with the cabinets resolved and she made sure it did not happen. This employee should never be a position to conduct business with customers. She is not an asset to the company but a major problem. If she treated us like this because she could not own up to her mistakes, who else goes through this horrendous experience. All I can tell you is she made our lives this past year a living hell. She gave us undue stress and anxiety in something that should have been a pleasant experience.

Every time we've purchased from Lowe's we've been extremely satisfied. They have great customer service and the associates are always helpful. We live in Riverhead so always patronize that store.

11/22/21 at 4:20pm The Girl with the blue multi colored glasses at customer service had an extreme attitude for no reason when I was inquiring about my pick up. I asked where the lock boxes were because I don't ever come to lowes so I had no clue and she was snotty as heck and pointed to where they were, then I follow the steps to get my product and it said it was already picked up, and then again I had to go to this woman who was nasty again because I ruined her little girl pow wow, then was even moreeee mad because my product was high on a shelf she couldn't reach Then slammed it on the desk and said "you don't need a receipt right? insane. So sorry your job is an inconvenience

Riverhead doors and windows Horrible!!! Order a door missing parts. Lowe's don't pick up the constantly not telling you the truth. Don't use them for doors and windows pay the extra mon to a reliable company!!! Never again The website mad me give them 1 star otherwise they would get 0

Tell me I'm missing something here. I live on Long Island. Northfork. I purchased a dishwasher brand new, full price. No discounts. Purchased the protection plan for an additional $100.00+ dollars. 3 months later. Dishwasher breaks down. Call Lowe's for repair.. "yes we have your protection plan on file. But you live too far so we aren't going to honor it. ????? Whatttt??? They sent me a gift card to purchase another Dishwasher from Lowe's in which they will not be honoring if it needs service.?? Lowe's Hardware should be ashamed of themselves ! After literally 10's of hours on the phone with departments I never even knew existed. I give up! I will never shop or order from a Lowe's store again Period. ! I'd suggest anyone planning to make a purchase from them. Do the same. Oh as for the amount of time I've been placed on hold over the past 2 weeks? That is the work of their clueless middle eastern based customer service. That don't speak a word of English clearly. Lowe's is Far From an American Company.

I ordered a Weber grill and a custom wood door from this Lowe's. They were very helpful and I really liked the quality of the products. I've also been building out my Craftsman tool collection and I was happy to see that Lowe's carries this brand.

Worst Lowe's I have ever been to in my life!!!! Standing at the section for appliances the associate ignored me and answers a phone call, than when he gets off the phone he helps someone that was there after me. Another associate comes and again helps a different person not until I cursed them out did they come and help me. Then went to another section and the same thing occurred. Fuck this place I'm never shopping here again
