Basic hotel, close to Tanger Outlets. Free breakfast was just that, minimal and not impressive, we chose to go out for breakfast instead. Lobby and commons areas were clean with an on-site restaraunt for lunch and dinner.

This is an incredibly obnoxious food policy. I understand no outside food in the restaurant, but no food in any public areas? Really? My family and I picked up some sandwiches on our way and are now forced the squeeze into one of our hotel rooms to eat our lunch. This is not exactly the greeting I was hoping for when I arrived.On top of that, there is absolutely zero sound insulation in the room. During the night, there was a group of people hanging out conversing about 100ft from the hotel in some chairs, and I could hear every word they were saying like they were in the room with me. They were talking loudly, but it really shouldn't be a problem for 5 people to be hanging out and chatting.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good location right off expessway. The Bistro is very nice. A decent continental breakfast assortment.

Me and husband stay overnight for our wedding anniversary. It's was very pleasant. The receptionist lady is very professional, The place is so clean, and located in a quiet area, good food. I told my husband I want to come back in a very short time. I really recommend this hotel.

I did not stay this time. I was only there to pick up a car They have a Hertz car rental facility in the hotel as well. but IV eaten here and stayed here and it's always fabulous. I've also had my daughter's sweet 16 party here, which was also fabulous.

I would be remiss if I did not write a review what an outstanding job the director of catering, Cristen Dattoli accomplished for us on our wedding day.From the start, when we were visiting different venues she stood out. She listened to exactly what we were looking for and created an amazing venue that fit exactly what we envisioned on our wedding day. She is the reason we chose the Hotel Indigo for our venue.Cristin never dismissed any questions or concerns we had and it made our experience less stressful knowing she really cared to make our day perfect for us.The following days after our wedding, many of our guests commented on her professionalism along with the amazing food and beautiful venue.Ours was under 50 ppl and we decided to have it in the Bistro 72 room however for larger receptions they do have a room that will accommodate and Cristin will not disappoint.Others at the hotel Indigo that assisted us with our wedding plans were Kristen Porciello, Samantha Reyes and Lindsay Ramrattan. Samantha and Lindsay were on top of our blocked rooms constantly in contact and updating us on the rooms availability and our list of guests that were staying. This way we knew every one of our guests that needed a room had accommodations.I have been in customer service and sales and then moved on to a managerial position and from my experience people like Cristen are hard to find. She knows what her client wants and tries her best to create that for them. That skill is everything! For my husband and I she did exactly that. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect.

Bistro 72 located inside Hotel Indigo Long Island in Riverhead is beautifully appointed with warm earth tone colors. Very comfortable and fine service. I will definitely be back.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Did a quick visit to the north fork, Being I am a Premier IHG member I chose to stay here and it was Great! Great location, great food, great Staff!!! Felt like a boutique Hotel!

Great IHG property in the Riverhead area. We stayed for 1 night as a staycation from the city. Breakfast is pretty standard. Pool goes from 3ft to 9ft deep, so most people end up hanging out in the shallow end, and it gets a tad crowded. A wedding was happening at the property during the weekend we stayed, and it was a great vibe.Fireplace wasn't on when we went since global warming has been making it much warmer this time of year, but I can imagine it adding even more to the vibe.Parking is easy and free, there's an entrance from the back of the property if your room is back there.Service is great, the lobby staff were friendly and attentive.We used a 40k IHG certificate and topped up since it was a last minute reso during the weekend, and we thought it was completely worth it. We'd stay again in the future in our next staycation.Rooms: I'd recommend staying picking a pool facing room since there's direct access if staying on the first floor, with Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the weather (if it's nice out).

I can't thank Hotel Indigo enough! My husband and I used them for our 8/12/23 wedding block and added on the morning after brunch the following day. We worked with Samantha who is a sweetheart and quickly responds to emails. When our block was full and guests still needed rooms, she would let us know when rooms opened up and was so accommodating with any changes or add ons that needed to be made. The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and we can't thank them enough! Highly recommend!

My wife and I have been fans of the North Fork of Long Island for years, and of the vineyards in particular. We occasionally stay overnight at one of the hotels nearby. This time we chose Indigo because we were looking to escape New York City during a late-season heat wave and this place, slightly off the main drag, offered a good price. We booked three nights, arriving on Labor Day when most of the traffic and the crowds were headed in the opposite direction. This was an excellent choice. We were impressed by the artistic decor of the lobby. It was modern without being sterile. When we got to our room, I noticed that the furniture was rather worn, the air conditioner was noisy, and the coffee maker wasn't working. We didn't complain. The room was small but well designed and nicely decorated. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom and the shower were clean and functional. What made our stay truly memorable was the friendliness of both the other guests and the hotel staff. We had many enjoyable conversations with complete strangers. This wouldn't happen in Manhattan. The hotel attracts an older crowd and there is no pretentiousness. This is a place that seems to be designed for mature people to come and relax. No aspiring fashion models on starvation diets. The plentiful food and inviting atmosphere at the hotel restaurant, Bistro 72, is good enough to attract locals. The only mishap during our stay was a 3-hour blackout one afternoon because of emergency work being done on the electrical grid in the area. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but there should have been a comp. And the outside pool area, where there are beautiful flowers planted with taste and care , is infested with bees. All in all, we liked being at the hotel so much, amid the excruciating heat, that we never ventured out to the vineyards or anywhere else. We will come again.

Stayed here for a wedding. It is expensive and the staff was quite rude when we followed up to ask a simple question about the rate. I travel frequently and would not recommend this hotel in any way. I am very surprised that this is an IHG property.

We got in late, into our suite, after traveling from Philly, which was right above the restaurant/bar area…didn’t think anything abt until it got to be midnight and the music was still playing, loud enough; we had to call the front desk, who informed us normally it stays on all night, to get it turned offAfter contacting the hotel afterwards abt the issue, they somewhat played it off…I’m on the road 75+ nights a year and if I had stayed here and had my rest ruined needing to work the next day, I’d of been even more upset…It’s disappointing the way the hotel decided to deal with our issue…Got 3 different responses from all allegedly being the front desk supervisor…Be cautious

I stayed at this hotel while on a business assignment for 10 days. The staff was amazing and very friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms were small and had major issues. The first room I stayed in had issues with the air conditioning, the headboard fell down while I was sleeping in the bed and the sink was stopped up. Subsequently, I was moved to another room, which had no phone. I spoke to the front desk over four times requesting a working phone in my room and to no avail my request went unanswered. The best part was that every single day I had to get my room key calibrated. I've never had an experience where I've been locked out of the hotel, because my key card would not work. There was also an issue where housekeeping decided to skip our room and not service the room twice. One time I had to stand outside while it was being cleaned. The food in the restaurant was mediocre, and the free breakfast was subpar. There was no variation in what was offered for breakfast. It was the same food, and it was unappetizing. On the other hand, the pool was fantastic! The water was so warm it felt as if the pool was heated. The pool area was well kept and so were the grounds around the hotel. The hotel was extremely pet friendly! I did go with my Pet terrier, and he was welcomed in every part of the hotel except the pool area.Nearby activities: The hotel was in driving distance of a massive amount of stores. Also the hotel was pretty much in the backyard of the tanger outlets.
