Please do not buy/lease a Volvo from this store. I am a former GM of a Volvo retailer and this store is the perfect example for why the general public has such a negative view of the Auto Sales business. The Sales Manager, Joe Ghandi, is rude, incompetent and has an issue telling the truth. They outright lied about how Volvo's incentives work and then sold the car we had finally come to an agreement on, after approval and all the docs were submitted. We were told they'd call us to schedule a time for contracting and delivery but instead emailed us they sold the car to someone else instead. Again, I urge you to stay far away from this store. It will be a horrible experience and the likelihood of getting swindled seems very high. I will say however that I have dealt with the service department twice before this and found them to be quite good. The service writer was very polite and knew Volvos very well.

If I could give less than a star I would. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a car dealership. I was prepared to buy one of their cars that day however they refused to let me drive the car unless I agreed to buy the car before hand including negotiating the price. How are you supposed to agree on a price of a car that you've never even driven? The sales associate was argumentative and clearly didn't want to sell a car that day. I called up to speak to a sales manager after this horrible experience thinking that it must have been that one sales associate and no one ever got back to me. This place is a disgrace and I wouldn't want to see how slimey they would be when buying a car based on how horrible they were from the very beginning. Go to any other dealership to buy your car, for your own sanity. (I was also told that they dont let anyone drive their cars prior to agreement, so call and check if you do decide to test this dealership because they were either lying to me or lying to you...and I wouldn't trust after such shenanigans)

Worst customer service ever, ask the sales man to tell me a little more about the car I intended to buy and he was like "what you wanna know" asked for info on the tires and he said "what about the tires? No no no no red flags everywhere

Worst car dealer experience ever! Because of this, I will not buy a Volvo! Walked into Eagle Volvo in Riverhead to check out a new XC60 SUV after looking at Audi, BMW and Lexus. I had never driven a Volvo so I wanted to give it a fair shot. Polite receptionist explained that cars inside the showroom were locked due to Covid (there was 1 Model XC60 inside, a white car). Walked outdoors to view the only other new XC60 available, a black car. One model was $54K, the other was $61K. After viewing both, I asked to schedule a test drive and was told I had to wait for salesperson. Finally, salesperson came and asked if I wanted to buy or lease. I said I wasn't sure yet. She told me we had to get the "numbers" settled before I could test drive the car. So I said "lease", and she asked "which one, the white one or the black one"...REALLY!! She explained NOTHING about the car features, differences between the 2 available vehicles, which were $7K apart in price, and she wants me to SETTLE THE NUMBERS without knowing a single thing about either car. NO salesmanship skills, no product knowledge communicated--just "do you want white or black?"...and a $7K differential...My daughter was also looking at the XC60. Neither of us will be doing that now. Cars may be in short supply, but we will find one somewhere else.

Went there today to test drive the 2022 Seltos after they have called me everyday this last week. Told me they don’t test drive on Sundays and that I couldn’t sit in the vehicle in the showroom. Unlocked one on the lot so I could sit in it but I wasn’t allowed to drive it. Then refused to appraise my trade in because I wasn’t sure if I could finish the purchase process by the next day. Extremely unprofessional, refused to help me and expected me to purchase a car without ever driving it.

Horrible experience. The salesman was so rude and didn't have any interest in helping me or making a sale. When I mentioned the options I was interested in, he said they didn't have a car with those options and therefore I couldn't test drive the car they had there. I called another dealership, they found the vehicle I wanted and I bought it one week later. I wish I knew who owned the dealership.

Absolute worst. I give this zero stars. Total scam. Not respectable business or reputable business people. I had heard bad reviews about this Volvo dealership but decided to stop in as I was in the area. I feel bad that these folks make a living off of trying to lead people with pressure and dishonesty. While speaking with the salesmen and following his process he wasted my time and then his because he was not honest. He went back on his word several times and contradicted himself while trying to put pressure to close a deal.... sorry that doesn't work with sharp professionals. He promised several times we'd be able to test drive the car as part of the process and then he completely refused to allow us to test drive the car before purchase. He literally made up reasons along the way. He said we weren't allowed to drive the car before we purchased it, and said it was because of COVID, but he had already allowed us to sit in the car for 20 minutes so where's the safety about allowing people in the car. Plus, COVID is not spread via surfaces. They want to try to wave a carrot for a purchase. He was forceful with his rehearsed lines . I've been in sales my entire adult life I wish they'd learn to lead with honesty. Their slimy sales tactics are weak. They try to lead you to a deal but are clueless on how to conduct business in a respectable honest manner. Do not waste your time at this dealership. Go to Audi, Jaguar , BMW, Land Rover for similar pricing and honest business people. Read and enter at your own risk. And I'm sorry he wasted his time by following poor business.

Only have experience with their service department, and they are the worst. So often they kept me in their waiting room for 3, 4, 5+ hours despite having scheduled appointments and my maintenence only being routine. They gouge you on the price any way they can and will take advantage of you if you don't know your car well.Over $400 to replace the trunk struts that hold the hatch up! That's just one example, I have a whole folder of ridiculous repair costs from them. $400 for struts, when the parts cost $80 max and swapping them on takes all of 15 minutes. They wanted to charge me $3k to change all the cat converters when really, I just needed a small exhaust leak plugged and new oxygen sensors. The eagle volvo dealership service experiences pushed me away from the volvo brand, although their vehicles being unreliable was already doing it for me.

Had to get some maintenance done on our car and Codi at the front desk was great - he was professional, provided updates and accurate estimates for the work required, and made the whole process very seamless. They have chairs to bring outside to sit on while you wait which was a nice touch!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had an appointment at the Riverhead Volvo with Matt and I arrived 10 min early and there were three sales agents available who were sitting and playing games and none came over to help. Then a person asked why we were sitting at the managers desk and said we had to move! I could understand if there were people inside the show room but there was absolutely no one. Just me and the three who didn’t feel like working. Then they asked us to go wait outside until it was time to be helped.. I was so disgusted that I just left.... guess they are not hurting from this pandemic that we are going through, they shove people out rather then trying to make a sale! I hope they read this and realize that they missed out on a cash deal!

I purchased a fully 2016 Volvo T6 XC90 Inscription on 3-5-2016. The salesman and sales mgr were excellent, however are no longer with this dealer. The servicing that i received was substandard at best. They did NOT have a service dept that could handle the new XC90. I was very patient and gave them too many benefits of the doubt. I switched to Smithtown Volvo and finally dealt with intelligence and knowledgeable service dept. I traded that car in for a 2020 Volvo T6 XC90 Inscription on on December 2019 and have bin waiting for my refunds for the contracts and extended warranties I had purchased from Eagle. I hand-delivered the paperwork to them, contacted them too many times and finally contacted Volvo Manufacturing’s Customer Service to get involved. Today I received an email from customer service (after one month in their hands) which stated that “Eagle Auto-Mall Corporation who reported, they have no documentation or any requests for reimbursement of warranties on your previous vehicle” Which is an absolute LIE, as I have a list of names of Eagle associates that I had been speaking with who told me “They are working on it, it will take some time” it is 6 months and counting. Go to a different Dealer for a Volvo or a different manufacturer!

I would not go back to this place. They list Eagle price on there website which is not the price you pay. The prices on the there website are not at all the price can buy the Volvo for. I went in looking at a left over s60 T6 inscription sedan and it was on the internet and Eagle was discounting their leftover cars, it clearly says Eagle Price and below it says Detailed Pricing which the two numbers are the same. You can not get the car for this price. I called the day before and there was no mention about qualifying for the sale price. After speaking to the sales manager Mr. Meadows he said he does not control the internet price templet. I was treated unfairly and I feel that this was a typical bait and switch. I did ask Mr. Meadows for a printed copy of the discounts that apply....he said what type of car do you drive , I responded a Honda and he replied you can’t get that price because you don’t drive a Volvo. The sales manager did not have any printed information on how to qualify for the discount, it’s listed at a discounted rate because it was a leftover. Mr Meadows the Volvo sales manager just chuckled when I told him this is bait and switch and I was going to contact the better business bureau. Me. Meadows has an elitist attitude towards me and he felt he controlled what I would pay for the car regardless of the printed price. Please keep away from Eagle Volvo in Riverhead, the printed pricing is not the price of the car. Additionally, there was no mention to promotional pricing. I usually don’t write reviews but this is something others should know about. I enclosed a picture to show what I’m talking about. I was looking to purchased the car for the advertised price. I was not looking for a lower price than the one in black and white.
