It used to be very nice when you walk in the store and people greet you and make you feel welcome, well that was not my experience in this store.
Every time I am in the store employees do not read, and they always look too busy to help customers. Every time I am in the store employees do not read, and they always look too busy to help customers. When you ask them for a product, they do not bring you to the item anymore and they always tell you:
if it’s not there we don’t have it!

CVS 1140 Old Country Road-this location in Riverhead has a poor customer service. it's been 4 moths and I cannot refill my antibiotic that was on my original prescription, now the man working in the pharmacist is asking me why do I need it?, if you have the outstanding prescription that were not fulfill with the others, why are you not filling it instead of trying to tell me how I shouldn't use or need my prescription that I need for my ear infection now. As of today, is still out of stock. He told me maybe I should try getting it elsewhere. I cannot wait for Amazon to have prescriptions available.

Switched from the CVS in Target because of poor service. Now this CVS is just as bad! Prescription was sent in over 5 hours ago for my 6 year old and it's STILL not ready!! I wouldn't care if it was for me, but it's for my kid and she's in pain! And I refuse to go to Walgreens because of personal reasons. Guess we'll be going back to the family owned pharmacy even though it's further away and definitely not as convenient. I wish these chain stores would get their act together!

Just had emergency tooth removal. Went to go through drive through then they tell me to go around again bc it won’t be done for a few minutes. After waiting 25 mins with the window closed they said they closed an hour early but yet I was just around 5 mins prior.

I went to this CVS and was told my prescription had expired and that I need a new one. I told the girl it had not so when went to the computer and she said that I last filled it in May 2022. I told her that was impossible because I have been taking it every day. So I had to leave with the medication. Got home and then I received a text that my pills were ready for pickup. I then called the pharmacy and no one would answer, they would just pick up the phone and immediately HANG UP. DID THIS THREE TIMES AND IN EACH ATTEMPT THEY DID THE SAME THING. VERY VERY RUDE.

I've spent 20+ minutes on hold for the pharmacy, 3 times in a row. I understand they are busy at times, however an associate picked up the phone and HUNG UP ON ME 3 times. There was no communication of "would you please hold, we're swamped right now". Treat people like people and stop running out of my medication that can have dire consequences if I don't take it!The computer voice has been wrong repeatedly, causing me to go to pick up a "ready to be picked up" script only to find it wasn't filled. They don't fill my (non-refill) monthly script when It's up, I HAVE to call and call on the right date to get my medication. If I didn't have CVS "care" mark, I would have transferred LONG AGO! Insurance company has me against the ropes, I have no choice but to go to CVS (that said, nearly all the reps are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable... though there has been an influx of new workers).

Thomas Shroder has the worst attitude I've ever seen at this pharmacy. If it wasn't for the covid glass that was halfway on the table protecting him he would've humbled himself quickly. Nasty attitude to my grandma who was practically begging for them to supply her with just 4 tablets that she desperately needs because they couldn't fill the prescription in time. Riverhead CVS is the single best CVS on the island, other ones like wading river will lie to you about when you can pick up your medicine have you wait on a 7 hour line to say oh it's not ready come back in 6 weeks. Riverhead CVS is absolutely amazing the pharmacist and staff work super hard and very fast and efficient never ever had a single issue I drive from ridge there and it's 100% worth the drive

Worst ever customer service! Patchica working the counter said they don’t help with the photo station because it’s “self serve” when I asked for assistants because the system froze … so I asked her who helps then and she said “no one .. if it’s down it’s down” nastiest lady & she claims that’s the managers rule. Every other cvs has assisted me with photo I wonder if corporate has the same “rule”.
