Today I went to bjs with a HUGE HUGE bag of plastic bottles to recycle and the bins were full. I had the luck of meeting Evander Herrera. He went out of his way to help me. Over the load speaker he called the designated person to come and empty the bins but they were to no avail so Evander went out of his way and made sure I was taken care of. Any other employee would just tell me it’s out of service but Evander went out of his way to help me. He deserves a raise!

Long story short, they have horrible customer service. Not to mention, they have employees smoking cigarettes at the gas station. It just so happened to be when the fuel truck was there. Smh. I will not be renewing my membership, Costco just gained a new member.

This evening I called to see if this location had the weider adjustable dumbells in stock as they were said to be online. Woman said they had 5 listed, but was going to check. I was then left on hold for an hour. (See Pic) Then another girl answered thinking it was a new call. I asked again about the item... I could then hear the original woman tell her that she should tell me "they looked but couldn't find any in the store." Guess the original rep didn't want to talk to me directly after forgetting about me on hold.How does a store misallocate 500 lbs of dumbells worth $1000? That level of service, I suppose. Don't bother with this store.

Nice people work there but items are out of stock more than in. I don't get it; I drive 20 miles to shop there to get advertised coupon sales and "not in stock". This happens more and more. So much out of stock, maybe switch to Costco.

BUYER BEWARE. On May 12 2021, I purchased a 7 piece Georgetown outdoor dining set from Berkley and Jensen at BJs in Riverhead. We assembled the table as per the instructions (which instruct you to leave the table facedown in the box so that the legs can be assembled. Once the legs are assembled, the manual instructs you to flip the table over). Once we assembled the legs and turned the table right-side up, we noticed the tabletop was chipped. I contacted the customer service number listed on the manual and the representative instructed me to send photos of the chip and a copy of the purchase receipt. I spoke to Shelley and she said they would replace the damaged table with a new table, and that she would get back to me within the week. Right after I spoke with Shelly, I sent an e-mail to the customer service e-mail with the pictures and the copy of the receipt that they requested. I never received a call or e-mail back. I called back on 7/13/21 and I spoke to Azaria. She told me to resend the e-mail, and that a new table would be sent to me, and that she would also call me back within the week. I never heard back again via phone or e-mail. I then called a third time on 7/20/21 and spoke to Jasmine, who was very sweet and tried her best to assist me. I still have not heard back and have not received a replacement table. Do not buy from this company. I am stuck with a damaged table from a company with terrible customer service. I will never buy Berkley and Jensen outdoor furniture again.

They do not honor their warranty. They refused to take back a car battery that failed, telling me it has a 90 day return, printed right on the battery it states 30 MONTH free replacement. Will Not renew my membership.
