Dropped in about a half hour after opening time on Sunday 11.20ish on 2/18/2024. 5 male employees gathered around the front door laughing yapping chattering and hanging out. I'm fine with that. Cool. Employees that get alongHowever I came in prepared to drop 1k on a new samsung TV. Walked around for nearly a half hour and not a single employee asked if I needed any help. The gathering employees by the door stood there the entire time. It was around 45 minutes of just lingering in the TV department till I finally left. At that point it wad the principal. I'm not going to ask for help when you have employees just standing there laughing together all day. So I left. Maybe another time. But probably not

Great experience. I came to Best Buy in Riverhead recently because I was having trouble with my computer. Danny was extremely helpful. I am older in age and have trouble with technology and this young man was very patient with me and taught me many things about my computer that I didn’t know. Danny is a great asset to the team!!

You may have a Geek Squad contact renewal scam going on inside the company or your files have bee hacked! I received a warning that my account would be charged if I did not call an unlisted number within 48 hours. The email address they used in the Geek Squad notification was not a valid address.

Obnoxious greeter at door. Complained I interrupted him instead of just telling me what I needed. Sales man was very nice but they didn't have the case for my phone that corresponded to the charger they sold me.Man at door needs a lesson in civility.

NO RETURNS NO EXCHANGES I wanted to exchange a Logitech G Pro X Superlight in order to buy a Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 ie. Giving them MORE money. I brought the card with which I purchased the original item to the store where I made the original purchase, did not have a receipt. They lost the purchase history and refused to make the exchange. Just change your policy to "no returns", be honest. Last time I'll be doing any kind of business with Best Buy. BBB contacted. This is why people flock to Amazon.

Awful in store experience here- didn’t know specs or have any sales culture, awful corporate clarity when it comes to communication when trying to reach the original store I had visited in setauket. With the excellent experience at that location, I would hands down promptly visit back if not for the corporate runaround; As there is no way to transfer the calls to the store directly anymore. If the young man who helped me isn’t there. I will gladly purchase from the direct manufacturer. Best buys new tactics are starting to make P.C. Richard’s look like a 3000 karat diamond. I am nervous for the future of this company & also precautious for best buy in store team as corporate proceeds. Its the holiday season & halloween has long past stop horrifying people and start doing better before its too late.
