I met Dr. Naseem for the first time a month ago. I brought my newly adopted cat to him with a distended abdomen. He suspected that Phoebe has Feline Infectious Peritonitis, or FIP. Up until the recent past, this diagnosis would be fatal. But Dr. Naseem's extensive knowledge of the illness pointed me in the right direction to get treatment for her. Without Dr. Naseem's quick recognition of this illness and referral, Phoebe would be dead. His love for pets and their well-being is apparent in how he treated her and how excited he was about being able to save her. We went for a four week check up today, and we're all thrilled with Phoebe's progress. The stars lined up to help this cat, and Dr. Naseem, and his wonderful staff, are a huge part of Phoebe's survival. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my pet.

We brought my dog here because she didn't eat for 3 days. The night before we brought her to the vet we took her to the emergency hospital in Bohemia where Dr. Naseem also works. He assessed her there and suggested to bring her to here in the morning. During the night she had two seizures and had a really bad head tilt and was shaking her head a lot.Long story short we payed $1,500 here and they gave her fluids and monitored her. We took her home the next day after Dr.Naseem said that there was no way to tell the exact cause of why she wasn’t eating. She was visibly more alert but she still wasn’t eating or pooping. We took her home and something else didn’t feel right. A day later we took her to two other veterinarians that looked at the blood work and her symptoms and immediately suspected Addisons disease. Not only that but she had a terrible ear infection with blood and puss in her ear. Turns out Dr. Naseem DIDNT EVEN check her ears to see that she had an ear infection, after technically assessing her TWICE. I expressed my concerns over her head tilt and her rolling over because of inner ear imbalance, and the fact that he didn’t check her ears is MIND-BOGGLING to say the least. After spending so much money here my dog was still suffering. We took her to a different vet and she got tested for cortisol and it turns out, she had Addisons disease. She unfortunately died the next day.We could have saved so much money if Dr.Naseem put in effort to get to the root cause of her symptoms instead of providing short term solutions. All of her symptoms AND her bloodwork lined up with that of Addisons disease. First of all she was a poodle, which is one of the most common breeds to be affected by this disease. Secondly, she was a female, which Addisons disease affects much more than males. She had EXTREMELY high potassium levels and low sodium levels. In fact her Na:K ratio was at 13 when it’s supposed to be at 27 MINIMUM. In fact if it’s less than 15 that’s basically a virtual diagnostic for Addisons disease. Not only that but her physical symptoms lined up with that of Addisons disease as well; she was trembling, very lethargic, severely dehydrated, not eating, and had a low bpm which was at 60 when it’s supposed to be at a 120 at least. Not only that but Addisons deteriorates the Adrenal glands which also play a part in your immune system. Which is probably why my dog wasn’t able to fight off her ear infection efficiently and it got so bad.The fact that he disregarded the bloodwork HE TOOK, her physical symptoms, AND us verbally mentioning the disease to him calls into question Dr. Naseems qualifications. We had to spend so much extra money, go through extra stress, and put our poor dog under so much extra stress in order to get a real diagnosis. Everything was right in front of him and we told him our concerns based on our own research and he didn’t pay attention or pick up on the most obvious of things. It’s almost egotistical and it is certainly disappointing. Just letting everyone know, if you come here and still have that gut feeling something is still wrong with your pet, you are probably right. Please don’t hesitate to go somewhere else for an actual professional opinion before it’s too late.

this place is absolutely incredible, the doctor and staff were unbelievably amazing with my pup and saved her life! I’m so extremely grateful for what they did for my Dakota. Dr. Naseem is so kind to all the animal and treated mine just like she was his own. My dog was diagnosed with pyometra and he saved her in time before the infection spread anymore than it did. Mind you I was also in a financial jam, and he worked with me tremendously, all he wanted was my pup to be back with her family and now she is and is doing GREAT!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TEAM.If anyone is having doubt about this place or what the Dr. has to say.. please stop! Bec he knows exactly what he is doing and how to do it along with his team! THANK YOU AGAIN

I had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Naseem, our veterinarian who truly has the biggest heart. Our dog Booker recently needed medical attention, and Dr. Naseem went above and beyond to provide the most caring and compassionate service. Not only did Dr. Naseem show genuine concern for Booker's well-being, but they also took the time to comfort us during a challenging time. The level of care and attention to detail demonstrated by Dr. Naseem was truly remarkable. Their expertise, coupled with a genuine love for animals, made the entire process much more manageable. We are immensely grateful for Dr. Naseem's compassion, professionalism, and the extraordinary effort they put into ensuring both Booker and our family felt supported throughout the entire journey. Dr. Naseem is a testament to the kind of veterinarian every pet owner hopes to find – someone who treats your furry family member with the same love and care as if they were their own. Highly recommended!

Dr. Naseem and everybody at aquebogue veterinary hospital are by far the most exemplary veterinarian office I have ever been to. They took amazing care of my dog Sully after finding he had 8 bladder stones and needed surgery to remove them. Dr.Naseem is so kind and talented at what he does, he is very thorough and you can tell he really enjoys working with animals. I am so beyond grateful for the care they provided to my dog and the prices are very fair and reasonable. I highly recommend bringing your dog or cat to this practice!

Zoe, my 7 month old Toy Poodle was saved by the doctors and staff over Christmas. I bought her in on the 23rd of December after she collided with a Labrador chasing a ball. She was convulsing, spitting blood and non responsive with an important head trauma. She was immediately taken into care and stayed at the hospital for 4 days. The doctors called me with updates on her progress regularly, I never waited when I called and visits were encouraged and simple to organise . The staff compassionate and kind, I could not be more grateful to the team at the East End Veterinary Emergency Center. Zoe is thanks to them my Christmas Miracle
