Ordered online through Pepper and received my order first thing in the morning the next day! They delivered all the way to New Jersey and their prices were much lower than other wholesale delivery places I’ve seen online. I received an abundance of absolutely beautiful and fresh produce. I decided to blanch and freeze the extra fruits and veggies to make everything last longer, as it’s near impossible to get any groceries delivered here. Highly recommend giving them your business!

Best place for fresh fruits and veggies in Manhattan. In fact, I'll make a special trip from Brooklyn, 15 minutes away. Prices range from average to inexpensive, and quality is ALWAYS top notch. Fantastic selection in a city where that usually means incredibly overpriced. Nice people, too!

I recently found out about this place and since it is a million times closer than trader joes, I am in love. Their veggies/fruits rotate sometimes and the lines may be a bit long but they move fast.

A great grocery store for food lovers to shop for fresh ingredients. This store used to be packed with people all the time when it was on the ground floor at Chelsea Market, but the traffic is much slower at the new location in the basement. Saw some aged produces remain on display there. Not sure whether that's due to its slower merchandise turnaround at its new location.

I tried this place as it was recommended by a friend... what a great find! The produce was of very high quality and everyone was so helpful. They worked to make sure I had everything I needed. Alyssa and Jose were particularly helpful. What a great business... I can see how they have been serving NYC for so long.

Before the renovation and move this was best place to buy any and every type of fruit and veggie and great prices, practically like a produce wholesaler They also had olives and cheeses, crackers and tomato sauce, pasta and nuts....all basic procisions for making dinner NOW they are an overpriced and understocked Juice/salad bar geared toward the tourists. The basic provisions they sell now are extortionarily priced All of the locals are lamenting the death of this place...at least once a day someone asks me "what happened to this place?"... Management, are you listeneing??

It's a small store within Chelsea Market but it packs a good variety of fruits, veggies, and grocery items. Prices are reasonable.

I have been a satisfied loyal customer of Manhattan Fruit Exchange for both produce and juice since they opened at Chelsea Market. As I regularly do, yesterday I bought an orange mango juice. Upon opening, it was as thick as a puree, with large chunks of mango, and not in a good way. This was not the quality that I have been buying at the store for 15 years. I decided to return it. On returning, the so called manager of the store could not have been nastier or condescending to me. She did not even open the juice to see what I was unhappy about. Cannot believe that for $3.00 she felt that it was ok to be rude to a long time, neighborhood customer. Cannot believe that you have someone with that temperment representing your store. So disappointed
