This is one of if not the worst Home Depot ever. No one wants to work in the store. Every time I go on there it's a challenge to find a worker let alone one that wants to help you look for something. Go to the new one Maurice Avenue which is SUPER clean, bright and has friendly workers or the on Northern blvd in Woodside. Either location is a better choice because this one stinks.

Terrible pushiness yesterday in closing multiple isles like a terroristic attitude rat maze. I stopped my shopping, took one item to the self check out register. It did not scan and had to go to a cashier! She said the machine was overworked. Tried a home depot in valley stream today that was worse. Welcome to Loews.

This is the worst place to go.. You can't find anyone to help you.. You finally find someone and they tell you that's not my department .. The customer service here is less the one star.. Lows is so much better then home depot..

Worse Home Depot! You hire people to guide you towards the registers but not people who actually know what they are doing or know about the product. When you look or need assistance each employee is lazier then the next pointing to someone else saying that they can help you and of course you are left waiting and then just leave out of frustration cause no one ever came to help. If you're in need of a job but don't really want to work...apply at home depot!

I stopped by here yesterday and today. Had to get sheet metal and scissors. Persuad was extremely friendly. Two more employees assisted today in getting 4 thermostats that required the lift to get them. Please give your employees a raise! Keep up the excellent customer service!

Final update: Ended up going with Duffy's Floor Service once HD dropped the ball and they finished my project in two days and I ended up saving thousands of dollars in the end! Thanks for the fat refund check HD. So happy to be done with this and no longer stressed about it. In the end, Christina and Dez ended up helping me out with my refund and I am grateful to them for doing their jobs quickly and efficiently and leaving me a happy customer for their professionalism. An extra star for y'all.

Home Depot has a very organized curbside and pick up system going and the online order pick up moves faster than I've ever known. Like all Home Depot's, this one is huge. It helps to know what you want beforehand. I like to order online and pick up at the store. Free home delivery is also available. They have hand sanitizer for use everywhere and it seems like they have more staff, a plus when I don't know exactly what's needed and/or don't want to linger in the store during a pandemic.

Curbside pickup is a joke. I waited outside for my order for half an hour and nobody came out. I saw several employees hanging around outside and asked them how to get my order and they just mumbled around and could not speak English. So much for COVID safety. I ended up going inside anyway and lining up in the long crowded line inside to try and get my order. I might as well have ordered delivery or just bought it at the store.

I ordered 2 items for curbside pickup due to Covid. I arrived at the store and parked in the curb pickup area and clicked the "I am here" link as instructed in the confirmation email. Well the link was useless as it went to the main Home Depot page. Now I have not been inside a store in 7 months due to Covid and had to enter this store to pick up my items. The Service desk area employees were very disorganized and hanging around chatting but not really serving customers. I notice some with there masks pulled down below there noses! I had to wait quite a while for service when I was the only person on line at the time. I will never shop at this store again.

Went to this location today for supplies and advice on a DIY project, which should have been reasonably simple. It required three pieces of wood and something attached to either end of each of them. I wound up with six salespeople either telling me to talk to someone else or giving me an aisle number. Two of the aisle numbers were incorrect, one of the salespeople complained about the number of customers, and none were able to guide me up an aisle to where the product was. I found one of the two items, but it was useless without the other. Looking for that on the long aisles with a thousand products in each is like finding a needle in a haystack.Overall, the poor customer service made this a waste of my time. I'll go elsewhere next time.

My last trip to this Home Depot was really the last time, and it's not that there was anything specific that set it off, but just the realization that I've never really left this particular Home Depot and felt like I enjoyed or even had an easy going experience here. The store is definitely a little messier than your average Home Depot, not a lot but absolutely messy when you look at the shelves, the inventory always just a little below or missing the one piece you need, and the staff just a little more indifferent than other Home Depot's. I don't really expect much from chain stores, but this one is so underwhelming it begs the question why do I bother when I can just get everything from Amazon? I mean the last thing I want to do is give Jeff Bezos more money, but if a store treats you worse than Amazon, and offers no convenience then what's the difference. At least Bezos gives us next day shipping. The last time I was there I was told there are no shopping bags, none, not a tote or a plastic bag to carry my purchases. To be fair there is one staffer there that does almost make me want to go back for just my plumbing needs, an older women, who from her accent seems to be of eastern european descent, who while sometimes curt, is always happy to offer advice or assistance in the plumbing section. She seems to always be around, is always stocking or helping multiple customers at once, and just great overall, but that's it, she earns them two stars alone. Haven't had any great experience when buying paint, or lumber, or electrical, or anything. So ask yourself, if a company doesn't seem to want your business then why give it to them?
