They sold me “Rexall lens wipes” that left an oil type substance on my $1,200 eye glasses. I did everything to try to take the oil off from the wipes. I’m truly disappointed, I called costumer service to see if I can do something to get the oil off but they told me they where gonna call me back, they never did. They dollar product ruined my hard earned $1,200 glasses ?

I wish I could give zero stars avoid this store prices on shelves not what the register says manager says prices rise faster than they can changes sticker prices. Take it or leave it attitude there. Manager on this Saturday had some attitude I will not be shopping here again

Do not shop here. This store cheats customers. Products ring up at the register at higher prices than what is on the shelf. When asked why there is a difference, cashier says they were too busy to change shelf price and you have to pay whatever price rings up. That is a deceptive practice and i thought that was illegal.

Damn what happened to this place?! It was never the cleanest or most organized, but now it’s a total mess. Shelves are empty, tons of boxes blocking many aisles, random items all over the place and the floor. The line also gets really long. There’s usually only a single person at the register and if you want something that’s locked up, forget it. They’re very understaffed.2 stars instead of 1 because they do have some good deals if you’re patient enough to deal with this place. They def need a new manager.

Very disorganized store. Shelves empty. Everything all over the place. Hoarder ville. This should b Dollar Generals warehouse. Not a store. Again: everything is cluttered. The ppl that work there look angry and agitated. They converse more w each other than work... who& what's the culprit of this hot mess at the store. Where's the cEo at? I should of taken pics of the mess, I felt embarrassed 4r whoever is in charge of this location.

Store or bomb shelter you tell me. Everything on the floor nothing on the shelves. Everytime I go here I hate hearing this annoying security guy over the speaker letting people know not to steal. Lol well if you didn't have the merchandise laying around I don't think that would happen much.

I came on delivery day so the aisles were packed and I couldn't get to some of the stuff I was looking for but the customer service was great and if need be they would have filed pallets away for me so that's a plus. Nice people and they opened on time.

Lately, there's only been one person at the register at a time, and you can tell the kids working there are overwhelmed. You have to wait on line for 20 minutes. I highly encourage you to raise your starting wage for employees so you can employ more staff and not frustrate your current workers.

i was in ridgewood visiting a dear old friend and after 5 hours of non stop complaining about his ex wife and slacker son , i made my way back to astoria and looky looky its a dollar general in my sight and you know the rest. i will keep it semi short and very simple, this dg store is big , well stocked. clean , good work staff and i am strolling aisle to aisle filling my cart with house cleaning supplies, dog food, paper towels and bathroom tissues, body wash , shampoo, snacks. water, and some more goodies that i may share with family and friends. long line is moving fast and i got plenty for my 80 bucks.remember to download app for bonus savings and bring your own bags cause the paper bags they use are not strong at all. oh yeah i forgot to mention , the dg brand items are just as good as the major more expensive name brands . giving dollar general in ridgewood 4 stars on my yelp meter.
