This was my first time home buying experience and James and Debbie were amazing! They helped cover the job for someone else and I cannot recommend them enough. They were so patient and took the time to explain what needed to be done and what any issues I could potentially have were. Definitely suggest!

Jim was extremely courteous, professional, and thorough during his inspection, pausing to explain what he was noticing as he went along and summarizing his impressions to us after his inspection was complete. The report was very detailed and included recommendations for how we can maintain our home moving forward. I learned an incredible amount from him and feel that it was well worth what we paid. We also got our report back the very next business day. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Sadly, I really liked and trusted Jim. I am a single woman buying my first home. He basically stated I needed a new roof, new dishwasher which was obvious. Unfortunately for me, I needed a new hot water heater, my home has NO Insulation in the walls or attic. Many outlets in my home do not work, it is a total disaster.I truly trusted that an inspector would bring these items to my attention. I guess being an Eagle Scout is his highest priority. Beware not all Inspectors are created equal.FIND AN HONEST INSPECTOR!

I called Home Sweet Home needing an inspection and had a specific day and time that I needed it done. They were able to accommodate me and squeeze me into their schedule last minute! Jim is kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. I followed him around taking notes on things, as he provided a ton of useful information. I highly recommend using Home Sweet Home Inspections for your home inspection!

When another Home Inspector fell through at the last minute we reached Debbie at Home Sweet Home Inspections. Not only was she able to squeeze us in for the next day, but when I brought up the negative reviews regarding inexperienced inspectors she shared that all of her inspectors had been with them for 10 years or more. We wanted an inspector with a background in structural engineering and she connected us with her partner James.James arrived early and inspected the exterior even before I got there. He was incredibly thorough, testing every outlet, and even entered and documented a crawl space that had been filled with trash by previous owners. He took the time to explain what was wrong, how to fix it, and where people might try to up sell me with unnecessary work.When we parted ways James shared that if I had any questions about the inspection, now or in a couple of years to just reach out for answers included in their fee. The report provided came in when promised with 38 pages of information that left us knowing more than we thought possible about the home.I will hire them again for my home inspection needs and recommend that you do the same.

Needed a home inspection prior to a sale and was very impressed with the efficiency of the company through the entire process and the professionalism and knowledge of Inspector Jim Jacobs. Timelines and expectations were met. The inspection was extremely detailed and the final report was written in a manner that was easy to understand and provided insight into options for consideration for repair and/or replacement. I highly recommend Home Sweet Home Inspections and will use them again.

Great experience with Home Sweet Homes. They completed my home inspection for new purchase and Rob, the inspector, was early, professional and very thorough throughout the walk through. We could not be more appreciative of the knowledge and support we received from Home Sweet Home inspections. Debbie was highly communicative and speedy to respond to our questions. Jim Jacobs is everything you need in an inspector and more. I walked away from the inspection knowing far more than I had before and Jim gave some great tips on how to maintain our new home. Home sweet home did two inspections for me in the past two weeks and potentially saved me countless of thousands of dollars on the first house alone. From the moment they picked up the phone to the good byes at each inspection they were extremely friendly and professional. Robert was the inspector for both houses and honestly I can't describe how much of an asset he is to that company. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would recommend this company and Robert to anyone who wants to put their minds at ease when buying a house.

This business was beyond accommodating, even switching things around to help me out on a time issue, and I was so grateful. Robert the inspector showed up on time, brought a change of shoes for the inside of the house so he didnt track mud or debris into the house from inspecting the outside, and was absolutely through to the T. He explained everything he was looking at and the report i got back was verbaetum what was told to us. It was so nice to know that there was nothing a miss, and i highly recommend this company and Robert for anyone looking to get a good and through inspection at a reasonable cost.
