No, I actually love bravo supermarket. I don't agree with any of the other reviews. This supermarket is extremely affordable. It has staple items in a pinch. I especially love the huge aisle of Goya products they're always on sale every single week ... there's always a staple like dirt cheap you really can't go wrong with anything you buy there. Also the cashiers are nice. The only complaint I have is i wish they would have a bakery but it's really a neighborhood grocer so there's no space for it, but I also enjoy that they have all kinds of products and a large variety of Caribbean foods!! Also it's clean

I never review anything, but where to start? Worst market ever. Very dirty. Place smells of spoiled food. Staff seem more interested in socializing and gossiping about customers than service (half the folks they chatter rudely about in Spanish know Spanish and just don't let on). Also, be aware that staff in this location will deliberately short-change disabled people and treat them like garbage when they're not outright stealing from them. This store is begging for an ADA lawsuit and a health inspection. Absolutely avoid. Tear it down and replace it with an Aldi.

Avoid at all cost. Refused to give change for $10 bill on the purchase of a 1/2 gallon of milk. Told to come back at closing time to get the change (4 hrs after the purchase). In an other incident refused to take $5 bill saying it was to greasy when there was not a mark on it. When I went back change was still not made and the manager explained that while the clerk's cash register didn't balance (i.e. someone made an error somewhere in the store) that there was no proof that any errors where made and thus no change was due to me.--- UPDATE -- (12/26/21)Forgot my wallet and when I go back they ***DOUBLE*** charge me for the entire order (charged for 2 potato rolls and 4 2 lt. cokes when I only bought 1 roll and 2 cokes).... refused to correct it.... for people on fixed income (SNAP) this is insane since every penny counts with all the current inflation!!!

It's the closest in the neighborhood so it's convenient. But it's more of a large deli than a supermarket. They have a limited amount of items. There's no butcher section, you can't order cold cuts or cheese. There's no seafood section.

The worst place ever. Overpriced and rotting groceries. There’s a woman there with the worst attitude. They think everyone is stealing from them. The worst.

This store is always empty so I decided to do a large grocery shopping there to support their business but the staff seemed annoyed that I was buying so much. I will not do that again there.

Limited grocery selection and rude staff and cashiers even before COVID. Good for quick items but generally not worth it.

I see I'm not the only one who faced poor customer service. The bagger "lady" came out of no where snatched a plastic bag out of my hand because the bags are 10 cents. I feel she could've been less rude, informed me and asked for it back if I didn't want to pay. I do understand this is a mixed neighborhood but you don't have to hire rude, uneducated employees to cut costs. I used to do my main shopping here but I'll go elsewhere don't like dealing with disrespectful people.

Today I went into the Bravo store at 109-08 Jamaica Avenue to just pick up a half pint of cream. The price came up 3 cents more than the price tag (yes, I know, only 3 cents more) when I asked if there was tax on cream the cashier said that it is a charge for the plastic bag. When I said that I didn't need the bag it's a half pint of cream, she said that I should have told her before she rang up the cream that I didn't need a bag. HUH? Shouldn't they be asking me if I need a plastic bag? The Stop and Shop cashiers would always ask me, the customer, if I needed bags. Bravo never disappoints if you want a bad experience in the store.

Poor customer service at this location. Bagger lady at the end pulled down her mask to tell me that I have to pay for a plastic bag from my own pocket. I am a WIC customer first of all . I had my own bag anyway- but did not needed to be treated this way. Very embarrassing. Management needs to look into the way staff treats customer.
