I really liked this store and have stopped by several times when I'm in town from out of state. Their products are beautiful, and although they can be expensive, in my opinion they're worth it since they're of very good quality. However, echoing other reviews, I feel uncomfortable shopping here as every time I come in they treat me like an extreme shoplifting risk. I understand I'm of the demographic that is most likely to do so, but it still makes me very uncomfortable to be obviously tailed around the store and singled out to be stared at while shopping. As a young woman who didn't grow up with much money, it makes me feel as though I'm not welcome or that I'm considered too poor to be in there. Every time I go into the store, I buy something, always spending upwards of $50, but just because I'm younger and dress casually I'm treated like a criminal. I'm very friendly and polite to the staff and while the person at checkout is usually nice, the people openly singling me out to follow me around the store are snooty and hostile.
I don't know if Rhinebeck has a huge shoplifting epidemic or what but it's inappropriate to act like this towards customers. I don't think I'll come back despite really liking the shop and its products simply due to it being a hostile environment for anyone who doesn't look wealthy.

Visited this shop with my friend recently. We come here every so often since she enjoys browsing the Mexican artwork, especially the collection of skeleton lover dioramas that are able to be opened and closed. Note she is a dark-skinned Mexican woman while I am the palest Irishman you'll meet.While browsing the bags (which she was thinking about buying), we noticed one of the workers watching us from behind the counter. Not thinking anything of it, we moved over to the right section of the store through the little walkway when we observed that same worker whisper to her co-worker. The same worker then followed us to the other side, looked at us, and then turned slightly to face the bags on the wall, presumably pretending to rearrange them while watching us from the corner of her eye. The store had other patrons roaming around, but we didn't notice other employees tailing them. Before I was able to say anything, my friend said, "Let's go," and we left.This incident left her upset especially since she was contemplating buying a bag. Unfortunately, she had purchased a mirror from this store for her mother a few months back. A business profiting off of Mexican and Buddhist craftsmanship. Just a more bougie Traveling Buddha for the wealthy citizens of Rhinebeck.

Nice shop which I was really looking forward to returning to since making purchases there three years ago when I was last in Rhinebeck. However, this time the staff person, possibly the owner, who took my sale was not only unfriendly but also reluctant to wrap my purchases despite all the colorful tissue paper and curling ribbons behind the register. A friend who was with me had a much more pleasant check-out experience with a lovely sales person who beautifully and willing wrapped her items which were gifts, like mine were. So shoppers, since the gift wrapping is free and likely you are visitors buying presents, ask for gift wrapping even if the sales person is a grouch.

This store is the best. I fell in love with some kurtas and they special ordered exactly what I wanted. This place really goes the extra mile with service and helpfulness. I wish I lived closer. Definitely patronize this store. It's the best.

Still the best boutique in town! I've been shopping here for twenty-plus years. Great clothing, jewelry, clogs, gifts, stuff for the home, for self-care, yoga, you name it. Friendliest service! The staff contributes a lot to the Rhinebeck community. Do yourself a favor and check it out...

I went shopping here for my sister-in-law's 70th birthday. I bought six different thing and she was wild about all of them. I love this place. I bought shoes here, and gift soap, etc. to bring as a gift when going to friends for dinner. Remember that? It'll be back. Anyway, VERY nice staff and utterly delightful items AND it's in Rhinebeck! Ding! Ding!

This is my favorite store in the whole of Rhinebeck. The selection of clothing, jewelry, decorative, bath and other accessories is delightful. I could spend hours here-and have- and never tire of it. The owner and her staff are wonderful. It's my go-to shopping place!
