I really hate when staff gripes about customers right in front of them! Older man whining to another employee how he doesn't understand why people return things to amazon, that if you didn't want it you should not have ordered it. I don't want to see his grumpy face either but that's the way the amazon works. Don't work at a ups store if you don't want to deal with people or their returns, geez!!!

The owner / management of this location needs to cough up the money to hire more employees because every single time I come here, which is often several times a week, the line is literally out the door. I feel terrible for the poor, overwhelmed employees that have to take care of everybody, usually completely by themselves, and this one star review is in no way against them. They are always kind and courteous and do not deserve to handle lines of customers alone. HIRE MORE STAFF!

I’m admittedly a huge pain in the butt when it comes to shipping and print orders. The staff at this UPS store location are rock stars as they meet my many needs, in particular Tay. Tay is grounded, patient and always handles my dilemmas with care and thoughtfulness. I wish there were more people like Tay.

The Rhinebeck staff has always been good . . . but GENERAL NOTE for folks considering UPS. I ship guitars a couple times a year. UPS has consistently fallen short and today was the height of it as the UPS driver dragged the parts of a formerly gorgeous Taylor guitar up the drive with seeming indifference.I have gone to the store for some Amazon returns and the staff has always been courteous and helpful.In terms of "UPS, the company . . not THIS store" I need to add a note . . . The UPS Claims Process . . . well . . . buyer beware . . . if you **THINK** you are buying insurance you are sadly mistaken. You are purchasing the right to play a "why didn't you pack it better" game with UPS.I'm done.

Unfortunately they seem to close earlier than advertised. Sometimes it's best to travel a little further for better service. The shipping place in Hyde Park always stays a little late to accommodate for later working hours and the rush hour traffic.

The barely hidden anger of the workers at this store handling constant Amazon product returns and nothing else has translated into irregular store hours and 'oopsie! computer down' signs. Went 3 times and the store was closed or computer down and got the message: NO AMAZON RETURNS ACCEPTED HERE! This is the 2nd UPS store that has done this in Dutchess County. Perhaps amazon should set up their own store for returns as they sell defective and/or bait and switch products.

Wow! “No problem” and “I got it” were amazing affirmations from the associate today who took my box. It dropped off some camping equipment to mail home - had a return label for a different location - in a used box, and her no problem attitude was confident and pleasant. Well done!
