In search of a new Ford Bronco, I had visited a few Ford dealerships. Ruge's Ford in Rhinebeck, NY was by far the most attentive and helpful.
Thanks to Joseph McFarland, Eduardo Iannici, and Will Brownell for making my recent purchase a very pleasant experience. No pressure sales. They were professional, attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly!

Will and Eduardo are not high pressure sales people. They are more into customer service. They are advisors. They want to help you. It is easy to trust them. I recommend them to anyone who wants a nice purchase experience.

Went to Ruge’s considering purchasing a car. After a week or two of conversation, test drive and multiple considerations….found a perfect vehicle for me. Had excellent experience-everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, and not “pushy.” Thank you Dominic, Will, and Frank! I love my new Bronco Sport!

Dominic was fantastic with helping us find the best car and the best price. It was our first time buying/leasing a car with a dealership and he answered all the questions and was super helpful. We also really like that he didn’t pressure us in purchasing a car when other dealerships that we went through did! Ruge’s Ford is awesome!! We can’t wait to drive our Ford Escape!

After looking through hundreds of used cars, I found the best deal at Ruge’s Ford. Unfortunately, a week off the lot, the Expedition broke down. Naturally, I prepared for an uphill battle against unethical car salesmen… or so I thought. Instead of being unethical sociopaths, I found the folks at Ruge’s to be some of the most honest and genuinely good people I’ve ever dealt with. Before I had a chance to make any demands, Joe personally drove 1.5 hours to drop off a loaner car, paid for the Expedition to be towed back up to their lot, and offered to “undo” the transaction, making me whole. Instead of taking advantage of a “gotcha” moment, Joe and team simply did the right thing. Sounds simple, but so many folks get this wrong in pursuit of short term greed. But not the folks at Ruge’s Ford. No, they understand the value of long term relationships. So, we undid the original sale, and Joe found me a brand new Expedition and sold it to me at cost. Ruge’s now has a customer for life in me and my entire family. If you’re shopping for a car and don’t want the stress of wondering how badly you’re getting screwed out of your hard earned money, then I highly suggest you call Ruge’s Ford. Not only will they do right by you, but you’ll also get a great deal in the process.

I had a very interesting experience with Ruge’s Ford. About a week ago I drove by and saw a spectacular Ford Thunderbird. I called later that evening and spoke with Dominic. I drove the car for way more than an hour on Saturday morning And negotiated a deal for its purchase. Everybody who I interfaced with Dom, Joe and Chris were great. I had a turf experience and I am now driving a very sharp Thunderbird.

I brought my truck here for recall service. They were very quick and got me in and out without delay, and were able to order a part I wanted and have it by the next afternoon.

Service department is a nightmare. My passenger mirror got dented and glass shattered, I went in the day it happened to have them fix. I get a call saying my new parts came in but they cannot get me in for two weeks. I wait that time and come in for my scheduled appointment where they then take 20 minutes before telling me that they in fact ordered the driver mirror instead of the passenger mirror. So, I then had to wait another week for the correct part to come in and was told they would call me when it did. The week came to an end and I did not receive a call, so I called them and what do you know my part had magically just came in! I then was told the quickest they could get me in was a week out, even though this was supposed to already be done weeks ago. Fine. I come in at 8 am and they have me off the lot by 9, awesome….. except for the fact that the second I pulled off the lot I realized that the mirror was not properly hooked up (no lane departure, unable to adjust angle, etc) so I had to turn around and go BACK. Problem solved.. until the following week when my lane detection turned off yet again. Finally I had my husband call. For reference I am 7 months pregnant and not only feel defeated at this point but also that I am obviously being taken advantage of. My husband then had a lovely conversation with the dealership where ultimately I was blamed for ordering parts and not requesting for it to be serviced, said that I must have spoken with parts instead of service. Which is hilarious considering I went to the SERVICE DEPARTMENT and spoke to the SERVICE MANAGER (still have his card) who ordered the required parts for me and ensured me he would be able to “fix” my problem, however never once mentioned that a diagnostic test should be run to ensure there would be no issues? Wouldn’t their expertise, and my lack of, be a reason to mention this and not assume that I know enough to ask? Needless to say, we will not be returning for any more work now or in the future and will advise both family and friends to stay away as well. The entire ordeal start to finish was a mess and they should be ashamed of themselves as it is an extremely poor reflection of their dealership and staff.
