The Paper Trail Store, while brimming with original items made from diverse materials, fell short in terms of customer service. The high prices were somewhat justified by the uniqueness of the products, but the lack of attention from the staff, including associates engrossed in their cell phones, was disappointing. My purchase of postcards salvaged the experience, warranting a rating of 3 out of 5.

i bought some matches as a gift and i know the person will love them. some stuff was a bit pricey but i did love the selection of items. stationary, cocktail napkins, clothing, candles, etc. staff was very friendly too.

Beautiful paper, halfhearted customer service. (I guess a “thank you” or “have a nice evening” to a customer who just made a purchase is too much to ask at this place!)

My wife’s favorite store in upstate NY. So many unique gifts. Whenever we are in the area Paper Trail is a must destination. Have purchased many different items over the years, but they have new and different ones on each return visit. This time we purchased pillows. Another time place settings. The Halloween items are fantastic. It’s a don’t miss place on your stroll through Rhinebeck Village.

Returning to SF reflecting on my visit to up state NY, a stop in Rhinebeck gave me a fantastic shopping experience at Paper Trail. Not just great cards and gifts , but a welcoming staff. Congratulations to the owners for having such a pleasant and helpful staff.

Paper Trail is my favorite store in Rhinebeck. The merchandise is always terrific and the store is beautiful. I stop in frequently because everything changes with the holidays and the seasons. I also make sure to bring my out-of-town guests to see the store and everyone loves it. If you're in Rhinebeck, be sure to stop in. You'll be glad you did.

I have shopped at Paper Trail for years and felt the need to review this small town gem. They are my go to store for birthdays, holidays & special occasions. I always find that little something with a special touch. I have had repeated success finding gifts for my wife and daughter and the staff has been spot on with a difficult choice. Paper Trail always has a great selection of house gifts to take with us when we go to visit friends. Be it games, puzzles, or even a good book their range of choices is great. As a man it is not often you find a store that makes gift buying a pleasure and ease. Thank you Paper Trail!

Gimmicky overpriced store. It's pretentiousness is only surpassed by its owners, especially Maureen. Witnessed them degrading an employee. The vibe from most of the staff was elitist and negative. All they did while I was in there was gossip among themselves. True Karen's. Please pass this place by if you value kindness and diversity.
