“I am not handy or knowledgeable about home repair but occasionally have to fix something myself. When I used to go the big box stores, it was often hard to find a staffer who would correctly answer my questions so I was sometimes sent home with the wrong product. At Williams, it's easy to find a staff person, they focus on and understand my questions and take time to explain well, and I always leave with the right item for the job and feeling much more confident about it. The store also has lots of cool useful things I hadn't come in looking for but am glad I found in addition to finding the thing I need. It's a well-stocked, well-organized store with super-knowledgeable helpful staff.”

“I am contractor and also do plumbing. I go to wind Supply for my all plumbing needs the courtesy and the respect they give you makes you feel like your family they make you welcome. Can't say enough about the owner and everybody they're always working together as a team. when I'm renovating a new bathroom or a old bathroom I sent everybody to win Supply. They have a great showroom when you go see all items for your bathroom needs. Tell them that G sent you.”
“Outdoor service department does all our high end chainsaw repairs. Jimmy is unbelievable and will fix a minor problem while you wait. He is a foundational member of the team in the outdoor service department. I've never been so impressed with customer service, enthusiasm, honesty and product knowledge especially like big saws such as the Husqvarna 395xp. Same attention to detail with consumer saws, making this out 'go to' chainsaw and small engine repair shop.”

I am always greeted warmly when I come here and they really go out of their way to help you. They have a huge paint selection and everything else that you need too. “Aside from a hardware store in Woodstock, NY by us, we just needed other items and more variety that only a big-box offers. This Kingston, NY Lowe's is about a 15ish minute drive from where we were at and checked most of the boxes. For a weekday afternoon, this Lowe's was a breeze. No hoards of people around you and you had the aisles to yourself- but floor sales associates, were almost nil. When you finally got someone, service was helpful and to the point- including the self-check cashier who acknowledged hubs' military discount when she had to swipe a barcode. We didn't have major issues. It's easy-going here and we took advantage of some sale items with a good price tag. I like their products- but as far as on-the-spot service, you gotta search for it here.”

“Needed a new washer ASAP! Went to Home Depot in Kingston and met salesman Chuck! What a great guy! Helped us out and was able to get us a new washer with no issues. It’s always hard when you have to spend hundreds of dollars when you didn’t plan on it but Chuck made the whole process and comfortable. Too bad for Home Depot that he’s retiring. Again, what a cool and great guy!”

George and Dennis came to the rescue and loaded the entire truck. They were so helpful and friendly. It's hard to find good help these days and these two were top-notch!”
