This used to be a well run little gas station/store. It runs very well when it is being staffed by a young lady who provides amazing customer service and quite literally runs all around the place making sure food/coffee is prepared, displays are stocked and neat, etc.Any other time though, the gentlemen who staff the station make no effort. Coffee is empty, displays are empty, and customer service is not existent. The only people being greeted are the folks on the other end of the phone calls these staff seem to always be on.Just get gas here if you don't want to take your chances.

They "lost the key" to the bathroom, so don't expect to use it if you are a paying customer, or even if you work there, I guess.

Today July 16 at about 6:23 I ran into the rudest clerk. They have all been amazing before up until this new guy. I loved this place. This guy was eating a candy bar grossly behind the counter dropping crumbs while working and talking with his mouth full of food. Pretty gross. All the machines we tried to get a drink from were out. I asked for his help twice to check on the tanks or if we were operating correctly. He refused to help us both cold brew and nitro machines. He said "what do you want me to do, serve you just because i work here." He refused to move or work. He's in customer service and he's in the wrong job. As a daily customer of Valero, I buy gas, coke, food and cold brew daily and I hope he's not there long as there is no way I'll be back if he's there.

(I don't remember too much about my experience here late last month (early last week), but I do remember that I needed gas after an Uber run that took me to Rhinebeck, and things went rather smooth. My brother William keeps telling me this station is just as smooth for him. However, I used my GasBuddy card for the pay-at-the-pump transaction so I found some drawbacks. (I remember that it was something about the PIN was entered, but I don't vividly remember what happened). The prices are a little bit higher than other Valero's here, but they are comparable to other stations in the area (if that helps any). (Sorry that this can't be more helpful, as I had been on vacation this past weekend and didn't write down much on the back of the receipt about my experience, but I do remember some of it.)

It can be a difficult place to get in and out of with your car if the station, or town, are busy. The parking area and fueling area are quite small, especially if clogged by cars in spots where they shouldn't be. The staff is very friendly. The store is usually very well maintained. Some of their prices are a little high, but others seem slightly lower than other local competitors. Good for a quick stop for energy and sports drinks.
