This place is not for us. Listen to other negative reviewers, they’re not exaggerating at all. I thought “I’ll give it a try anyway!”, but quickly learned those negative reviews were very accurate. I would go into detail about my families experience, but I don’t have the kind words to explain it lol

Lovely place to "pick" for the public and for dealers too, with super variety, but how on earth does the senior member of staff at the check out get away with being so rude to people ?She has raised her voice at me in the past and on this most recent occasion, my two friends were horrified by the manner in which she addressed me. I have never been shouted at by a staff member of any other business and was utterly humiliated.I'm sorry for this negative review but this is a business review and this staff member is a problem that requires some honest attention.

Can get a little crowded. This is an honest to goodness antique store. This is not a thrift store with things you would throw out over the years. This place has actual antique furniture and artwork throughout the two floors. It’s worth a visit.

The oldest lady who works here is so so so unfriendly and downright rude. I asked about a pricing/labeling issue regarding bagged items together. Instead of listening and actually observing with her own eyes, she rudely dismissed me and a younger employee and said there was nothing wrong and the price was right. The younger employee was sweet and tried to explain to her. It clearly was incorrect. Instead of working with me and the vendor to figure this out so I could purchase something from their store that I also need, it will sit in an incorrectly labeled bag for years to come until someone else maybe complains. Sigh. Otherwise, the store has some great finds. Some things are priced higher than the Hyde Park Antique Emporium, but there are still hidden treasures in this place as well.

My visit to the Beekman Arms Antique Market provided a fascinating exploration of vintage treasures. While the selection was vast, the organization left something to be desired. Despite this, the joy of browsing through the store was undeniable. I didn’t buy anything this time, but I did appreciate the variety.

Nice selection- but one of the workers on the 2nd floor was very rude to me when I asked her to check for a lower price on an item with the dealer. She walked past me and said “it’s a good price!” as if to say, how dare you ask for that. However, the women who checked me out couldn’t be nicer and walked me to my car with what I bought- so that made up for it ?. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice store, some interesting items. On the pricier side of lil antique shops but can find some good deals. Extremely rude individual behind the counter/register. Surprisingly polite to the white people in the store and not surprisingly rude to people of color. Could be coincidence, not interested in going back and finding out.

Two story shop filled with a wide range of items. Prices are set by individual sellers so they vary from very reasonable to silly expensive. Huge variety of goods, from clothing, jewelry and art to home goods and furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I recently visited and was pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of antique goods. Many of the prices were very reasonable, and as a collector, I walked away satisfied with about $300 worth of items.Seeing the comments about customer service make me wonder how people make it through day to day life. The women at the counter were very informative about their antiques and held good conversations with me. One of the dealers upstairs walked behind me but to only comment about the antiques I found in a positive manner. It seems like some of you expected to get your feet rubbed, foreheads kissed, all with a complimentary candy bar when entering. The workers are antique dealers, not professional service workers.Great store

I had a booth at an antique center in the late 1990's and all of the dealers had to work a shift. But we didn't hover over customers and follow them around like they were thieves. I don't know if this one woman was a dealer but she was very rude - she followed us so closely that I could practically feel her breath on my back. They do have a nice and eclectic selection of antiques and vintage pieces displayed with flair. I couldn't pass up a very unusual handcrafted masonic wall hanging that I think is made of sterling silver. When I asked the lady at the front whether there was an up charge for credit cards, she sarcastically said, not for you! I think this was a legitimate question since many shops do charge a small fee if you use a credit card. She didn't answer me when I asked, what do you mean?

The people who we encountered who seem to work there were a bit aloof and seemed a bit bothered with questions or conversation

Totally thought it was me until I read the other reviews. The people who work here are so rude, acted inconvenienced by my purchases, and having to move items. Some decent finds and prices, but unclear why they are doing this if selling is such a hassle
