“We set almost alone for dinner overlooking the eighteenth green. We only saw 2 golfers but I don't take pictures of peopleI don't know (if at all possible). Entrance is in the back of the building, and could have at least one sign indicating that. I ordered a turkey club $14, and my brother ordered a hamburger $12. Both of us were very pleased with our meals. I am absolutely planning on going again. Service was exceptional and friendly.”
“Lisa at the Relief Room was great. Her aura was great. I felt happy to have a safe a place to unwind in a unconventional way. This way better than therapy. I highly recommend this place”
“Definitely would come back. I came here with some friends and I had a great time. Our axe handler was super helpful and entertaining. I appreciated that she took the time to work with us closely and coordinate games for us.”

1 Glen Ave, Scotia“I had the privilege of photographing a wedding on New Years Eve at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia, New York! The space was beautiful and had spots to take pictures both inside and outside. Not every venue has a designated bridal attendant and that made it so much easier as a photographer to have someone to help me with the bride's dress during the photos! Overall a good experience and such a great space to celebrate the New Year!”
“Amazing venue! I went to Van Gogh and later Monet. I will post photo as I edit them. Both shows were amazing and I appreciated all of the work that went into each.”
“World Class competitors and Instructors ! Fabulous personalities will make dance lessons fun as well as top competitive Instruction ! My 12 year old daughter and I are 6 year students here and we love the atmosphere and Instruction at Dancefire ! We are lucky to have this level dance studio in our area !”
“My wife and I just had our wedding reception at River Stone Manor and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. We had been married the year before (eloped to Las Vegas), so this was more of our party for family and friends and also a one-year anniversary celebration. As such, we had some very untraditional ideas for the event. Our wedding planner at River Stone, Ashley Dariano, and all of the River Stone team were exceptional about listening to our vision for the evening (including a non-traditional group activity instead of a ceremony) and bringing it to life. Ashley took the time to ensure she fully understood how we wanted things to flow and delivered 1000%. She communicated with us regularly leading up to the event and, after our final pre-event meeting with her, we were so excited because we knew it was going to be handled perfectly. The one curveball we dealt with that day was the weather (we wanted an outdoor “ceremony” activity and had our reception in the beautiful tent area); however, the River Stone team did not allow Mother Nature to derail our day. As the weather changed, things were moved swiftly from outdoors to the tent and the tent itself was equipped to protect us from a brief thunderstorm. The food was amazing! So many great options and our guests said that our food selections – including the mac & cheese and taco bars – really represented who we were as people. It was a balance of classy and casual. The staff was so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond, constantly checking in with us. And when it came to “game time,” Ashley was a total BOSS. We did not see her stop once. She was checking in with our guests, pouring champagne, picking up plates, overseeing the changes of the evening, and just making sure no detail was left unattended to. Our “wow” moment was when one of our guests, who struggles with extreme food allergies and prepared us that she probably wouldn’t be able to eat much, approached us and said, “I’ve never been able to eat this much at a wedding before!” The staff was so attentive to her needs – it blew us away. Our guests are STILL talking about how amazing our reception was. Thank you so much to Ashley and all of the River Stone team for making our day exactly as we imagined it!”
“I just had my bridal shower here this past weekend, and Laura and her team were amazing! Very communicative from the beginning and the place was just so cute. I can't wait to come back for a girls day!”

2 Freemans Bridge Rd, Schenectady“We had our wedding at the Terrace this past weekend, November 4th. This was the perfect venue for a late fall wedding. From the beautiful view of the mohawk, well kept grounds, and lighting accents at night, we could not have asked for a more picturesque location.Taylor, the venue coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and ensured that our vision came to life. she worked with us throughout our planning process and was very accommodating to our requests. We were able to customize our menu the way we wanted and within our price range. The staff made us, the bride and groom, feel so cared for and allowed us to truly enjoy our night. Pat, our dedicated staff member, was absolutely wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food and complemented the staff endlessly. Overall, we highly recommend the Terrace for your wedding as they made our special day such a wonderful experience!”
“Proctor's is a great place to attend a show. The venue can make or break any show depending on the atmosphere, the sound system, and the people running it. While not perfect, Proctor's scores more reliably on each of these points, making it my favorite place to go for live entertainment.”

39 Wolf Rd, Albany“Very comfortable hotel. Beds and pillows are especially cozy. Good location to get to and from Albany center. The fresh fruit was a nice breakfast option. The free evening social provided a full meal and drinks. The desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Food and drinks: Food was tasty and fresh. The wine and beer bar had great choices and were free during the social event.”
“We were looking for a small inexpensive tree, and ended up at Ellms Farm. At first we didn't really find anything within our budget and were ready to leave then Dan helped us find one within our budget and was way more than accommodating, very friendly. His help was greatly appreciated and we will be back there next year for sure!!”
“My step son Justin Park has played indoor football at Afrim's Sports park in Albany for several years. I saw a Tornado table there months ago with kids wanting to play but the table was all jammed up and not playable. Today I went to watch the indoor football game and brought my bag of Tornado tools and parts and replaced the bearings, a fews guys and pins, cleaned up the playing surface, and rods, new balls and repaired the broken coin slot. Nobody knew who I was or why I was doing this. I had my 518 Foosball shirt on and then met and exchanged personal info with the owner Afrim. I love this sport and love Afrims Sports.”

660 Albany Shaker Rd, Albany“This hotel is beautiful. For those who need a place to stay, you won't be disappointed. The front desk check-in was friendly and fast. Show Evan some love when you go. He was abundantly helpful. He pratically mapped out how to get around the unique layout of the hotel. The first impression was great. Do not let the exterior fool you. The inside is spacious and modern. I want to talk about the staff. I would give the entire staff 10 stars if I could. This hotel accommodated March Madness teams, a wedding, and a 7 State Delegation Council on Friday, March 29th. Go over to the restaurant and enjoy the service of Dave, Tony, Danielle, Ava, and Hayley. Bring your groups here, and have your wedding here. The Crown Plaza has thee best Bartenders and Management I've ever experienced. Thank you all for a memorable evening! Just book the room and enjoy yourself.Rooms: I stayed in a suite that was top-tier quality. The bed was incredible. Im 140lbs and felt like i was sleeping in a cloudFood & drinks: Big D's restaurant is delicious. Try the burger. 5/5 taste and quality.Noteworthy details: Close to the Albany Airport”

“BOOK THIS VENUE!! We started the wedding planning process without fully knowing what we wanted our day to look like but after touring the Mohawk River Country Club and meeting Sal, we immediately knew this was where we wanted to get married. Sal had an answer and a plan for every question or unknown we had. While offering solutions, he also made it clear that there was flexibility in every decision and that we could really make the day however we wanted to. He was incredibly responsive and helpful over the roughly 1.5 years of planning, all while being a really cool person who we were excited to work with.
The venue underwent some BEAUTIFUL upgrades in the time between when we booked and our wedding day which was awesome. A Groom's Suite was added which looks amazing, and the outside ceremony location was redone and I cannot even describe how beautiful this new space is. We lucked out and were able to have an outdoor ceremony on November 2nd!!
Everything is taken care of at this venue which really lessened the stress of wedding planning. We loved the all-inclusive per-person pricing as we didn't have to make even more stressful decisions. Our guests raved about the food (cocktail hour and the plated dinner) and fully enjoyed the open bar. We were able to go in and decorate the venue the day before, just before having our rehearsal, and did not have to pack up anything after the wedding. All of our things were packed and ready to be picked up Sunday morning after our hotel checkout time. It felt like we had full access to this venue the whole wedding weekend (this might not be the case if other weddings would have been booked the day before or after, but this was our experience), and they truly made us feel so special. We really felt prioritized and it meant so much to us. Sal and his wife Stephanie were absolutely amazing and were available to us throughout the entire wedding day- tracking down certain guests needed for photos, bringing cocktail hour food up to us in the Bridal Suite when we were getting my dress bustled, tracking us down to let us know our dinner had been put on our table, getting us drinks if we needed them, moving our ceremony florals into the ballroom to decorate our sweetheart table... they truly made this day perfect and we cannot thank them enough.
Again I say, if you're thinking about this venue, book it! You seriously will not regret it and your guests will have the best time. We hope to get invited back to a wedding at MRCC in the future!”
