Took away the self checkouts for groceries and now there are three lines open on a Friday evening during rush hour. On top of that, every week something new is u see lock and key. Time to find another way to get groceries and such.

Pro tip, ask customer service for a keyring escort when you walk in. Saves loads of time if you need things like makeup or deodorant or anything else in a case really.
And open more than 3 self checkouts so the wait isn't 5+ minutes.

Every time I think it's gotten as bad as it could get, it gets worse. The new thing is making the self checkout turn off after item 15. No signs are posted, this is just a surprise. So, that line is snaking halfway down the store because there is one cashier trying to fix every shut machine. Are the bigger self checkout lanes open? No. Turns out those only take 15 items too. Regular cashiers? There are two open. It has been like this for well over a week.
There is no longer any value to shopping at Walmart. If you aren't spending 20 minutes waiting for the soap to be unlocked, you are spending an hour waiting to buy 16 cat food. What would have been a 10-minute trip a year ago is now at least an hour and a huge hassle. What's the point of going when Target gets you in and out the door and at most costs $0.10 more?

Great place for shopping. However, due to loss prevention, they have implemented cages to secure products that are frequently stolen, which makes legitimate customers frustrated having to ask store representatives to open for access.

I will never go back to this Walmart and I so strongly encourage others not to as well. My wife and I moved to the area several months ago. With two teenagers and three pets in the home, naturally we began going to this Walmart for bulk orders. At least 3 times a month, we’d spend $500-$1,500 a month here on food, home goods, pet food, toiletries, etc. This shopping occurred for several months without incident. However; over the months, we began noticing more and more inconveniences. Items locked behind glass cases, out of stock items, and the most frustrating, less and less employees working at checkout and more demand on the consumer to use the self checkout. Normally, we typically don’t mind doing this as we know this is sadly the way the consumer industry is going. However, flash forward to a shopping trip several weeks ago when we made our final trip ever. We had an entire cart full of all kinds of good. Food, home items, decor, automotive, etc. There was not a single person working checkout. Every single lane was self service only. So my wife and I sat there for many minutes scanning and bagging everything ourselves. The self checkout messed up many times. Jamming, buffering, saying “missed item”, double scanning items. That only lengthened the time we stood there. Finally, $480 later, we rolled our cart towards the exit; thankfully we could finally get home to our kids, only to be stopped by Loss Prevention. An overweight gentleman with dark hair approached us and stated he was loss prevention and was watching us “steal items”. He never produced any kind of ID which I felt was very concerning to begin with. Being honest people, my wife and I complied and went to the loss prevention office; thinking there must be some kind of mistake. In this office, we were treated so incredibly rude and like common criminals. The gentleman and his trainee proceeded to remove every single item from our cart to check a paper receipt. We stood there for almost 20 minutes as they scrutinized every single item. The employee continually made rude and false accusations that we “purposely didn’t scan” certain items. When all was said and done; and remember we spent close to $500 in merchandise, they determined a grand total of $11 dollars worth of trinkets didn’t scan properly. And of course these 3 items were 3 of the exact same items we had to call over customer support for help with when the self checkout messed up the scan or double scanned an item. So, does Walmart really think we’re going to steal $11 worth of items after willingly spending $500; and just to be accused of theft and warned that if we ever do it again, the police will be called on us? How about a simple apology that clearly their self checkout was messing up and it was the machines fault. We even gladly offered to pay for the $11 dollars worth of goods; however the man snatched them away and stated we couldn’t have them as they were “Walmarts property”. Yes, because we desperately needed to steal a $1.79 clip from Walmart. Give me a break. So, lesson learned on our part, and I pray you read my story and prevent your from being put into a similar situation. We will never shop here again and willingly now shop across the parking lot at Target or just use Amazon. Shame on the loss prevention team for their rude customer service and tough guy attitude. We know our $500 shopping trips won’t dent a multi billion dollar company, but we’re so at peace now taking our business elsewhere.

Worst Walmart I had ever visited, we came from 30 miles to purchase something as it shows in app and it was not available , there was no Aisle itself and they made me to roam 30 mins in the sun and not ready to help or guide, finally said we don’t have it

Clean and organized store. Friendly employees. The only drawback was the self checkout limited 15 items and the only signs I saw were at the machine.
