130 Wolf Rd, Albany“I always have a great experience at Sand Creek! I cannot recommend them enough. I have been to vets in the past that made me feel silly for bringing my dog in for something that may be considered minor, but Sand Creek always makes me and my dog feel like a priority whether it is something big or small. The vet techs always do a great job in the room with making my dog and myself as comfortable as possible and showing my dog lots of love! I love the check out in the room and the side exit!”
“Called for an appt for my dog. Was seen the same day. They had done a physical exam, had drawn blood, ran some tests, send us home with some meds. Wasn't too pricey. Had to come back for additional tests. In and out,no stress to my dog. They called a day later to check on her and either later that day or two days later with the results. Everyone is super friendly, they explain everything and are patient.”
“Such a friendly office with a very caring and helpful staff. The doctors are knowledgeable and very patiently listen to your concerns.
Wonderful experience!”
“When our dog collapsed in the park, we had no idea what was wrong. Miller got us in quickly and got to the bottom of his heart condition. They provided excellent care and were honest about his prognosis, without pushing us to make any decisions regarding his care. The doctors and staff at Miller always went the extra mile to take our phone calls or get back to us quickly if we left a voicemail. We are so appreciative to have worked with Miller Animal Hospital.”
“4 Paws consistently shows professionalism and empathy. By the actions of the veterinarians and the staff, I know my beloved dog is receiving the best possible care. Everyone there has treated us compassionately and honestly.”
“We moved here from Dutchess County where we loved our vet tremendously. Our neighbor recommended CVH and we love them. Both my elderly cat and puppy are very happy there. The team is kind, happy to help and very thorough. I don’t feel like I’m being sold and I find the prices very reasonable.”
“Dr. Pokorny and Michelle are absolutely phenomenal. The level of care they have for my dog is truly amazing. They constantly go above and beyond to be sure my pet gets the best care. They are very gentle , kind and patient. You can tell they love what they do. 5 stars all around.”

2 Springhurst Dr S, East Greenbush“Amazing place! My dog ate gravel and after a very long night of distress, I called the East Greenbush Animal Hospital seeking help. Even though we were not an established client, they were happy to help. Upfront about cost (reasonable). Every staff person from the desk to the vet was pleasant, knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly recommend for preventative care. We are now in the process of switching - times and location are convenient, but the care is top notch.”
“Normanside veterinary clinic Was able to schedule me in as a new patient. They they saw my rabbit the next day. I was extremely happy with the staff and the doctor Who who did a complete examination Of our little holland loppered rabbit. I would definitely recommend normanside to anyone with a rabbit.”
“I have been coming here for 30 years & would never go elsewhere. In the best and worst -of times; Parkside doctors & staff are the best . Difficult as the impact of Covid was on the staff -- they were never less than the caring professionals they are.”
“Capitaland Animal Hospital is a fantastic place. Both Dr Gibbs and Dr Pedersen have wonderful knowledge. Over the years I've been taking my animals here, each time is a greater and greater experience. I had recently went in, met some new faces, though the technicians and assistants work so well with another. I had noticed one day one of the assistants seemed in a bad mood (possibly), but they still put that smile on their face and helped out me and my loved one. Cannot thank this hospital enough. LVTs and assistants truly are the foundation. Vet med is not for the weak and these people are strong and passionate!!!”

840 Hoosick Rd, Troy“We had to put our 15 yr old cat to rest. We had never been to this vet before as we recently moved to Troy. I must say, their level of compassion and respect is unbelievable. About a week after I picked up his ashes, I received a card from the them that everyone in the office had signed. I never in all my years of saying goodbye to beloved pets have I received a sympathy card from the vet staff. I look forward to a long relationship with this vet with our other 2 boys. If I could give 100 stars I would!”
“My horses do so well with the vets here. Dr Jaynes has done an amazing job helping get my mare in foal and keeping us on track with everything that's needed!! Whether we haul in or they come out, it's always a learning experience!!”

2764 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Niskayuna“We’ve been taking our pets to Niskayuna Animal Hospital since moving here nearly two years ago, and Dr. Geagan and the staff have consistently shown compassion and professionalism towards us and our four pets. They always take the time to ensure our animals are comfortable, even disassembling our cat’s carrier to minimize her stress.
It’s clear that the well-being of the animals is their top priority, and that’s what matters most to us. We’ve never felt mistreated or found the staff to be anything but courteous and respectful.
I also appreciate their efficient system. Waiting in the car helps keep our pets calm, and we’re seen and checked out quickly.
Having experienced several vets over the years, Niskayuna Animal Hospital is by far our favorite, and I highly recommend them!”
“A very welcoming experience at Drumm Veterinary Hospital. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The doctors and vet techs are very knowledgeable and listen carefully to me to treat all my animals accordingly.”
“Our family is so thankful that we found this vet practice, and the kind people that are this practice. Dr. Estra, Jen, and Allison are kind, compassionate, and caring individuals. They really do care about you and your pet. Our two cats are patients of the practice, and recently, one of our cats (she was 17 years old), began having some issues. It was a very hard decision to say goodbye to her, but a very kind, loving, and compassionate decision. Dr. Estra really took the time to explain everything, in detail, to me and my daughter. She let us take all the time we needed to make our decision, and then let us take all the time we needed to be with our cat. We were not rushed. It was not treated like a business transaction. We were treated like family. Our cat was very loved and she was shown respect, dignity, and love. We received a lovely card from Dr. Estra, and she showed us again what a kind and compassionate person she is, not just our vet. Would not hesitate to recommend her and her practice to anyone.”
“Dr. Burns. Liz, Jenny and the whole crew at Bayberry are wonderful. They go above and beyond to make sure our dogs have the best care. Dr. Burns is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Would definitely recommend them if you are in need of a vet in the area.”
8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
380 N Greenbush Rd, Troy“Every business has a few quirks and it's up to each individual as to how much you put up with. We've had a couple at Miller Animal Hospital (MAH) but at the end of the day, it's about the quality of care that our pups are getting. We know that their health and well-being are the top priority at MAH. Dr. Rice takes as much time as we need to examine our pups, answer our questions, and provide thorough and easy-to-understand assessments, guidance, and suggestions to us. The clinical and support staff here are just as great...and believe me, we put them through their paces. They're not the closest. Their not the fanciest. But they are the best!”
“Incredibly thoughtful and highly knowledgeable vet (especially concerning any new medications and treatment options available on the market). Quick to be seen, and staff was very gentle with my pet.”
“We unfortunately needed to put our loving dog Nina down. The staff and especially the Vet were so very supportive and we could see they took on a very somber attention to their job of putting Nina out of her pain.”
Open 24 hours
222 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Latham“Had quite a long wait because of other more serious emergencies, but the staff was very attentive and caring. Answered all my questions and kept me up to date on what was happening.”
“I’ve had to bring my cat here twice and my family and I had our dog put down here. They are extremely expensive, but the care they provide is worth the price in my opinion. I first had to take my cat in 2020 because he had somehow gotten an ear infection which caused him to have vertigo. I recently had to take him again since he stopped eating, and he had pancreatitis! When my family and I put our Bella down, she was old and frail and it was time. The staff are so nice, compassionate, knowledgeable and just so kind. They really care for the animals that are brought in.”
8AM - 6PM
326 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Latham“The staff there are excellent, professional, kind, and compassionate. I have been coming here for years and had excellent treatment for all my cats. They also helped me with the cats I had trapped.”
“My wife and I were devastated to hear our cat had cancer and we are so lucky to have a place like this in the area. They were so professional and caring to our cat during his difficult time. Cancer free now!!! Give these people a raise!!”
“Nothing is more traumatic than a sick or dying pet. This office treated our beloved Ernie with compassion and tender care. Dr. V was honest and forthcoming in his immediate assessment of our sweet boy. Losing him was hard but Bloomingrove Veterinary Hospital was kind, honest and thorough. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you.”
