This is not a bank. I signed up with them to have a local bank for the few times I need in-person transactions. I tried on two separate occasions to do simple transactions there, and they were unable to perform them both times. Deposits on their mobile app are a nightmare, it took 6 months and multiple in-person visits to deposit wedding gift checks. When I tried to get foreign currency there, they said they can’t (despite opposite info in their website) and after some arguing, they told me I could drive to Latham and someone could help me there (could they, though?). We cancelled both our accounts with this worthless building that says “bank” on the outside. No banking services are available through “Berkshire Bank”, so we took our business elsewhere.

Worst bank ever. The teller was flippant and rude to me, refusing to sign her name to a receipt after she gave me completely wrong information, causing me to have to reverse a payment, with no proof of reversal. Bad business practices!

No manager at this branch to sign off on direct deposit of funds from one account to another. Donna Gene is a puppet giving me the company policy redirick instead of going out of ones way to accommodate the customer. This branch could have reached out and spoke to the 2 other branches I frequent but thode not to be bothered.
