This new location is an improvement over their former location. Prices are pantry items are incredible. Produce items are less but be careful. Bananas are usually with brown spots, grapes are often out of stock. Meat is another item I avoid. 93% lean ground beef cooked down about 25%. Don't forget to bring a refundable quarter for the shopping cart. The store isn't kept up the same way as most supermarkets. Empty boxes remain on the shelf and you may need to remove empty boxes out of you way. Items on the shelves aren't faced making your search a bit more challenging. This seems to be a cross between the wholesale clubs like Costco mixed in with a dollar store. If you are on a tight budget this is a great place to shop.

Aldi has better prices than Hannaford and PC Market32. A good supplement to Walmart.

I loved the Aldi on coumbia St in Rensselaer. This new location in North Greenbush never seems to have certain products i bought regularly at the old Aldi (i.e. keto bread, keto ice cream, sugar free hazelnut creamer and many others) I don't know if they stopped carrying some of these or just have no clue how to order to meet demands. Today the cashier suggested i go to other Aldis outside my area to obtain them. I find that to be a ridiculous answer to this problem. I have no idea why people find this new location to be better than old one. I waste more time coming here to find they never have what I am looking for.

I love Aldi, but I went in today, and there was hardly any fresh produce. The shelves were bare. No lettuce, cucumbers, apples, berries, peppers, onions, or zucchini/squash. They had 4 heads of lettuce. 1 box of raspberries. Hoping this low stock is a one-time thing. I’ll give them a try again later this month. Never had this problem when they were at the Rensselaer location.

I love the convenience of this new location. The layout of the parking lot was well thought out right down to the handicap parking and grocery pick up area. Additionally it’s nice to have self check out as an option when just popping in for a few items, which eliminates the long lines. It seems like so far they are dealing with some supply issues, they’ve been out of common items like bread and milk, which I’m chocking up to an new larger influx of customers and their great prices. I’ve shopped in store and online. Being pregnant, I’m thrilled to have the option to have grocery pick up at aldis. My shopper was communicative and friendly, and all my groceries were the same fresh items I’d have picked out myself.

Had my first pickup order experience here and let me tell you how fantastic it was! My shopper, Caitlyn, had a large order to pull for me today. I had to work this morning and just have too much going on but I needed to squeeze in a grocery trip in somehow. I shopped online last night and Caitlyn shopped for me today. She kept in communications with each item out of stock, giving me options to choose from instead of just skipping it like other stores do. She was polite, courteous, and just overall fantastic! This truly was a great experience and I wont be going anywhere else for my grocery pickup needs! She is a rockstar! Thank you for making it this so easy for me and for going above and beyond when other places/shoppers don’t. Grateful to this girl and I hope she gets to see this! Update: well, it was almost perfect! There was a missing bag of meat from my order. Took me a bit to figure out how to report it, but once I was in contact with cs, it went smoothly. Mistakes happen so I can’t complain and it was a large order. I wish there was a number for the store so I can just call and confirm my items were left there by mistake and go back and get them (Im a half an hour away so I’d rather call ahead) instead of doing the refund but at least the process was simple enough. I wont let this ruin the rest of the experience.
