This store is always a hot mess. Do not do pick-up orders in this store because if they don't have the item, they do not let you know. You must check your bag before leaving the store in front of a workers i have ordered a Santa, and instead of telling me it wasn't available. They waited till I got to the store. And then said is not there and after speaking to me. They sent me an email saying I canceled when I did not cancel when asked to speak to a supervisor/manager. The manager walked away when I got to him. He said just go to the cashier. I tried to ask him if they would another Santa in the store. So I can pick that 1 up. And he just left without answering me. I feel like that's very rude and disrespectful. At the end of the day, there was no way to resolve this situation They also said they don't sell this Santa smh

My 89 yr old mother got stuck in the elevator at the Michaels on Metropolitan Ave on Friday afternoon . When she got out the on duty manager made sure that she was ok and provided a place to sit and water. He also rode down with her when we had finished shopping as she was uneasy going alone . (I am claustrophobic, and that day's incident really convinced me that I did not want to be in that elevator lol.) the store is nice, but I'm impressed me most was the personal care we received that day.

Almost all the people that works there have bad attitude, it's an unpleasant place to go shopping.

I received amazing help from 3 ladies.Lorraine, Michelle and Jadaq..I was searching for glass bowls for centerpieces. They searched through multiple boxes until my items were found and wrapped them with care to be sure they did not break. HUGE help! Thank you ladies!

Rude lazy staff. Labels for prices don't match signs of products so you have to run around looking for a manager. local store Manager unhelpful and staff rude. I would waste my time complaining to Corporate regarding but Michaels is set up so that you can only complain to the staff that couldn't help you get checked out in the first place. What a horrible store the Rego Park Store is horrid. I go out to Long Island to shop because the Rego Prk store is disgusting. People are eating their Trader Joe food on the MIchaels tables in the store even though they are not buying anything

I'm not a crafts person but when I need to get something custom framed, I go to Michaels. On my last visit I noticed there were a lot of sales associates on the floor and they were helpful in directing people where they needed to go. I went straight to the back to have some items framed. When I got there an associate Jon (or John) was assisting a couple. I waited about 30 minutes while he helped them. I appreciated that when he realized their order would take some time, he told me I could start looking into mats and frames for my items. He was so helpful and very knowledgeable about the products and prices. Great customer service!!!

I'm not your typical Michael's mega fan, like some people I know. I did give a friend's number to count my purchase towards their rewards program. I asked a staff member where I could find acrylic paint and was given cordial, detailed guidance. Was picking up some for a friend that paints. Michael 's offers value and mid priced arts and crafts materials.

Hi, this review is specifically regarding Aaron Brothers custom framing and not for Michael's.We brought in an unframed koi dyptich to be framed and was very nicely helped by Jordan. He was very knowledgeable and hoful, very professional and friendly. He presented with useful & good suggestions. He definitely knows his craft and it was a pleasure to work with him!We will update this review again after we get our finished product but we're confident it will be lovely!
