I put in an INDIVIDUAL move request, for MYSELF, and yet the USPS delivered my mother's medication to my house. She NEEDS her medication & this in unacceptable and just down right lazy on the drivers part. I try to contact this post office and have called a total of TEN times already today and no one answers the phone there. They are avoidant and lazy. I try calling USPS 800 # and have been on hold going on 23 minutes now. Tell me again what the point of the USPS is if they cannot even speak or handle customers. They are mandated to be revenue-neutral and not make a profit, just break even, but you cannot tell me the salary of 100K dedicated to the post master means USPS is not making profit. They have no problem taking your money but every problem in the world with helping the people who pay them...

I sent a package to my daughter to Bard College. It shows it was received at this post office 3 days ago and still not delivered. So rude no one never answers the phone EVER!

Postmaster is nasty as anything. This whole post office is full of rude people, creepers and a staff that doesn't like to work. They are far from professional. Worst post office I've had to deal with

Great service today helping me with my passport application. April and other staff helped answer all my questions even checking over my application. Never had a issue since I moved to Red Hook 46 years ago.

Horrible!!!! I never get my packages. Mail is always in other peoples mail boxes. The drivers r lazy they don’t want to get out and bring the packages to the door and if they do it’s at someone’s else’s door!!! Do ur job and do it right!

This post office has had a package I ordered sitting in their facility since 12/10. Today is 12/22. It’s not moved. I needed it for Christmas. Incompetent completely.

My husband mailed a slightly oversized birthday card to his 85 year old mother. Since we were unsure if one stamp would cover it, he placed a second stamp on envelope. The next day we received the card back in our mailbox with the words “postage due package” and the dollar amount scrawled all over the front of the envelope in ink. I guess they didn’t have a pencil, sticky note or any other thing that wouldn’t ruin the card. We have lived in the same house for almost 20 years. In fact the red hook post office uses our house as a drop for all the mail in the neighborhood. We have had 20 years of dropped rubber bands and slips of paper along with several of their bins on our porch. We are still happy to help. We are good for the extra postage! It was a couple of cents.

Parking is such an issue. The area in which you need actual service from the Post Office is small..they need to expand that area.

I personally happened to love the Red Hook post office. My mail deliver Kevin is one of the best mail delivers I ever had. Keep up the great work Red Hook post office. God bless America!
