We told Lauren, the owner, what type of flavor of cheese we liked and she picked ones she thought we'd like. She was right, they were delicious! Love the food!

Absolutely perfect little shop. They have a very carefully selected variety of wonderful cheese and meats with seating for a leisurely afternoon snacking. Got a quiche from the fridge and it’s probably the best quiche I’ve ever had. Will be back!

So happy we stumbled upon the corner counter during a recent visit to the Catskills. The team was very knowledgeable and helpful. And the grilled cheeses were some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re in red hook
The Corner Counter is a neighborhood cheese shop & eatery, offering artisan cheese & charcuterie, craft beer/cider, coffee, specialty foods and grocery staples. Food menu includes a rotating selection of sandwiches, salads, prepared foods and cheese plates.
Our goal is to serve as a community gathering space, where customers can enjoy quality food in a warm, welcoming environment. We support local farms & purveyors, and choose organic, fair trade and sustainable products whenever possible.
