It was the place guest house I have ever stayed. It is difficult to say that it was a guest house, I think it was my second home. She acted like she was our grandma, giving her love, laugh, kindness and generosity. Breakfast cooked by her and her husband Nabil (who is the professional chief) are incredible and delicious. Her breakfasts are like lunch, after her breakfast you will need to eat only a dinner, since she provides so much food for breakfast. Whenever you approach to her, she responds immediately (towel, cleaning, food, help...). We became close friends during 2-week stay, even one family. She even bought a big toy four our son and cooked a free farewell dinner for us, so we had a family talk with her family.It is located in the heart of Red Hook, everything (grocery, cafes, shops and CVS) is so close to her house.I highly recommend to stay only there in Red Hook, if you want to feel the big heart of local people.Rooms: Rooms are fantastic, clean, big and warm.Nearby activities: Everything is around, 2-5 min.Safety: Cameras everywhere, very safe.Walkability: It is the heart of Red Hook.Food & drinks: Incredible and delicious, and a lot.

We are horrified by the inn. We pulled into a completely dark driveway with a burnt out RV parked. The house was decrepit, moldy, and we found a tick in the bathtub. We left almost immediately because we were so disgusted, and Pat would not refund our 350.00 deposit

Excellent for an extended stay. Caring friendly hostess. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and quite unique. Quiet. Located in center of town. Home cooked breakfasts. Wonderful front porch for reading, visiting, hanging out.

The people who run the Red Hook Inn are awesome! My brother-in-law stayed there for the Christmas holiday to be near to us. He is handicapped & has trouble walking & is also not very stable on his feet. Pat was so good to him helping him throughout his stay. She needed to leave to visit family by a certain time & ended up staying longer than expected to help get him ready to leave for our house. Just wonderful people! I would highly recommend the inn!Thank you Pat!!

The Red Hook Inn is such a beautiful place to stay while visiting the Hudson Valley. Right in the village of Red hook within walking distance to everything you need to have an amazing stay! The owners are so lovely, it truly feels like home. They will literally do anything to make your stay be the best in the area by far. I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed! If I could give them a 10star rating I would!!!

We had a lovely stay at the Red Hook Country Inn. The inn itself is lovely; beautiful front porch with plenty of room to sit and relax and decorated lovely with antiques. The room we stayed in (number 6) was excellent!! EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE king sized bed, AC and a ceiling fan, cute stained glass window in one window, cable TV, a large bathroom, and most importantly clean and tidy. Excellent location in a very cute town, close to other cute towns and plenty of things to do in the area. I only met one of the innkeepers Sharon, but both were lovely. Pat was extremely helpful booking our last minute reservation, and gave us great information and recommendations for the area. Sharon was very friendly too! We will definitely stay again when we visit the area.

Convenient location & hostess/owner Patricia was communicative as I checked in late for my one nite stay. My room was comfortable and clean with a new wall unit air conditioner. There was cream left in my mini-fridge for the Keurig coffee maker in the 2nd floor common area. A little difficult logistically to carry up a suitcase to the 2nd floor due to the ADA wheelchair electric ramp that goes up the steps but there’s no way to get around that. The Inn itself, furnishings and common areas were a bit tired & needed attention.

Excellent BnB on Route 9. The owner Pat was exceptionally accommodating and allowed me to store my bicycle inside. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. The location is at the heart of Red Hook and has walking access to everything in town. I will happily stay here again the next time I am passing through Red Hook!

Response to owner- First of all Pat, yes, you conned my naive daughter into Venmoing you the deposit. You should never have been renting the rooms in the condition that place is in.Lie number 1, it was 3 nights initially,not 4. At least try and get your lies as accurate as possible.Lie number 2, there was nothing "perceived " about anything I encountered.Lie number 3 My daughter called back the same day because I told her that what you were charging was absurd.Lie number 4, yes my daughter got me involved because the room was for me. Yes you and I talked, and we agreed that if you could rent it you would refund the money. You layer text me and mentioned staying the one night there with my daughter. I thought that was a great idea so that's what we planned. I certainly never expected to encounter what I did, or I never would have agreed.Regardless of heaters, the place stunk. Try some cleaning or some air freshners.The sheets were so worn you could see through them.Whoever told you the room was fine must not value cleanliness, I however, do.I find it so pathetic that you try to blame me for your broken items.Yes, I have compassion for her loss as I just went through the same with my mother. However, if she couldn't handle her business, she shouldn't have been renting it. Period.Yes you wished me a Happy Mothers day after calling me a liar. Sorry but I don't do fake.I posted photographic evidence of what I stated.I have zero to gain from leaving my very accurate review. I posted this so others will know what they are getting into if they choose to rent a room from you. You however have every reason to lie and try to malign my character.I'm a strong advocate for small business but will never support misrepresentation and unproffesionalism. I hope everyone who reads this review can see by your response, what kind of person I was dealing with.First of all, none of the photos that they posted on here are true. Looks absolutely nothing like that now. I get to the hotel and rang the bell 3 times before anyone answered. Porch was a Mish mash of old furniture, old treadmill and a handicapped shower chair. A nice older gentleman in flip flops answered, opened the door to my room and said that's where your staying. He never gave me a key so couldn't even lock the door if I wanted to go out. I get in the room and it's crammed with a king size bed and pulled out single bed and several tables. It smelled old and musty. I checked the sheets and they looked and smelled like they were from the 70's. Went into the bathroom and there was a nasty cleaning rag on the counter, blue glasses that had an inch of dust on them, whoever stayed previously shampoo and bodywash in the shower (so obviously not cleaned). Not full toiletries that were sticky to the touch and toilet paper holder that was broken. I went into the hall to find the gentleman and he could not be located. Walked across the hall to the common room and it was as rundown and nasty as the room. The hallway smelled like pot. At this point, there was no way I was staying there. I contacted the owner, Pat and explained what was going on, at first she didn't believe me then when I sent pics, she apologized and said she would refund the 200.00 in 4 days, on Thursday when she got back. I agreed. Nothing was refunded and contacted her on Friday, she did not respond. I contacted her again on Sunday and she responded with a nasty response accusing me of lying and breaking the toilet paper holder on purpose and put on the Venmo that it was for "unjustified refund".Bottom line, the place is a dump and the owner unprofessional and nasty. Stay as far away as you can.

Wonderful stay on April 28 and 29th my daughter and I stayed at the Redhook country Inn we found it very pleasant and quaint it’s located near a couple of excellent restaurants my favorite was flat iron only a few doors down from the inn The room was clean and nicely appointed I would highly recommend as an excellent base camp to explore the area

They had an emergency and we couldn’t stay there, but Pat had already found us a great place to stay instead, not very far away, and had it set up and ready for us. Such kindness and generosity, we were so fortunate. We hope to be back in the area often and look forward to getting to stay at her place next time!
