I try to go H.A.S. Beane every other month or so; I have not been to another used book store that has such a variety. It is at this store that you can find contemporary poetry collections from, say, Eastern Europe or I can find 1900s novels and while I am browsing I can buy several philosophical collections. For a local store they are worldly and well worth the stop; support them!

This shop is a hidden gem! Wonderful owner, beautiful old books, and some lovely home goods. Could stay here for hours. Don't miss if you are in the area.

Very pleasant experience, We enjoyed the vast array of choices and particularly liked the display of these books.We also admired the other interesting pieces of art on display.The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful.We wholeheartedly plan to visit whenever we are in the area and we have also told other people about our experience.
