We stopped in on our bikes for a drink and a taco at the taco truck next to it. They had a good selection of beer, cider, and seltzer and the owner was cool. They have bike racks outside and even have an e-bike charger and e-bike rentals available.

Owner didn’t let me use the bathroom even though I ate at the food truck advertised on his sign. He said I had to buy something from the bar if I wanted to use the bathroom and refused to let me use it.
From New York State Code: Section 2902.3 of the 2015 IBC and section 403.3 of the 2015 IPC stipulate that “customers, patrons and visitors shall be
provided with public toilet facilities in structures and tenant spaces intended for public utilization...”

My brother in law yesterday ate at the food truck advertised on this businesses property (I assume the food truck pays him directly for letting it be on his property or is part of his business?) and after eating asked to go inside to use the restroom, in which the bar owner said “no way” I wanted to stay out of this whole scenario until the bar owner called my brother in law a Karen and coward for leaving a negative review about this whole scenario. This guy was a star on the boxing team in college, was top of his ranger class when receiving his ranger tab in the army, and was a competitor in the army best ranger competitions before finishing his time in the army last year. I will not say it is impossible to do all these things as a coward, but I would say it would certainly be a statistical improbability. I hope this bar can zoom out a little bit in the future, see if the business has current availability (it was empty to near empty) to have a guest that supported their food truck be allowed to use the restroom, it’s really worth the nickel to flush given they already supported the food truck that is paying you. If the bar was wildly packed and there’s already a bathroom line 7 people deep, I would better understand saying sorry you gotta pay me $5-$10 before you can qualify for the 1-5 cent (not sure exact water cost in NY per flush) for the toilet flush, that’s just good business here.

Personable very friendly staff. Chatty and helpful. The bar inside has a HUGE selection - don’t let the size of the shop fool you.Hang out front with your drink and have some food from the food truck (ADK Eats). Really great business idea - fishing gear/supplies - drinks - friendly conversation. We will visit again.

Can't speak about the fishing stuff, but the beer was amazing. We spent our vacation trying out the breweries in the Adirondacks, the best beer we've had was here. Plus the owner is a super nice guy!

Stopped in to see what the store offered and was pleasantly surprised. We met the owner and talked a bit. They also have a bar connected to the fishing store. Another bonus is the Mexican food truck located in the side parking lot. You really need to check out these offerings.

Have stopped in many times and prefer the convenience of the location and selection of flies and supplies but last few times I've tried to stop it has been closed or I'd give it 5 stars
