Went from a first rate professional shop with knowledgeable employees under RWS (ravena welding supply) ownership to the McDonald's of welding shops complete with broken ice cream machine. Just going to shop at Haun at this point since they're next to Albany Steel anyways.

Just got my bil for 2-125 oxygen tanks delivered.$35 per tank and an other $95.30 in delivery charges bringing my total to$167.30. every since Dave and Brian sold Ravena welding supply it's gone down hill as far as customer service and price, a total mess trying to place an order, billing and delivery is a nightmare. It's always seems to be a big deal to get a delivery scheduled. Anytime I've been to the store only one person to help you and they appear to be over whelmed with work. I think they should have taken notes from the previous owners on how to run a business. With big companies, it's always the bottom line. They think they're saving money streamlining but actually driving customers away.

Never going back there again. Ravena is a small town and what the one counter person did was rude. Went there for 2lb spool of flux core wire. The one counter guy helped me and grabbed it for me. Went to ring me up and said $ thirty some dollars. I was surprised so expensive. I questioned them. I said I can go to Lowe's in glenmont and pay $13.00 for the real Lincoln wire. The other counter guy said in a nasty manner Dot buy it! I didnt!
