“Our wedding at the Estate at the East Wind was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the staff of the East Wind Caterers and the staff of the inn and restaurant went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we dreamed of.
One of the standout features of our experience was the exceptional level of assistance provided by the venue staff. We would like to mention Nicole, Tony, Joey and Robert (from Desmond’s), who were always on hand to offer guidance, answer questions, and provide support. Their professionalism and attentiveness truly made us feel like valued clients, and we couldn't have asked for a more dedicated team to help bring our vision to life.
Our bridal assistant, Marylou, was an absolute gem. From the moment we met her, she exuded warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make our day as magical as possible. Marylou went above and beyond her duties to attend to our every need, ensuring that we felt pampered and supported from the beginning to the end.
My bridal party and I also made hair appointments at the Salon at East Wind. Karen assisted me with the bridal trial and day-of updo, which was beautiful and just like I envisioned. Sohelia coordinated the appointments seamlessly. The entire beauty team was very accommodating to our early appointment times.
Our maitre'd, Tony, kept our reception flowing. In terms of organization, he excelled in keeping everything running smoothly. We were able to relax and enjoy the day knowing that everything was being taken care of. From coordinating vendors to managing the timeline, the team handled it all with professionalism and efficiency.
The culinary offerings at the Estate were nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was expertly prepared and presented. Our guests raved about the delicious food, and many commented that it was some of the best they had ever tasted at a wedding. We were also impressed by the flexibility of the culinary team in accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring that all of our guests were well taken care of.
However, one area where we feel there is room for improvement is in the administrative process. While the staff were incredibly helpful, we found that the forms we were asked to fill out contained a lot of redundancy, which added unnecessary complexity to the planning process. We believe that implementing online forms could streamline this aspect and make it easier for couples to provide the necessary information.
Additionally, we suggest that the East Wind consider accommodating couples who do not live in Long Island by offering flexible scheduling for food tastings. As non-local residents, it was challenging for us to coordinate a tasting within our limited availability, and we feel that offering more flexible options would better cater to the needs of all couples.
Overall, our experience at the East Wind was nothing short of magical. The professionalism of the staff, the quality of the food, and the meticulous organization made our wedding day truly unforgettable. We are grateful to the entire team for their hard work and dedication in making our wedding day exceed our expectations.

“Basic hotel, close to Tanger Outlets. Free breakfast was just that, minimal and not impressive, we chose to go out for breakfast instead. Lobby and commons areas were clean with an on-site restaraunt for lunch and dinner.”
“Me and My Husband Stayed here last year and we loved it. The Room was perfect size for a couple. We loved all the toiletries available in the bathrooms. It really felt personal. The beach is a few feet away, It is quite and private. Great to get a nice Tan.I loved that they have covered valet service in the front. We will be returning for sure. Thank You!”

“We had a great stay at the Atlantic Hotel this past weekend. Our room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The towels in the bathroom were fluffy and we had all the needed toiletries right in the bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would definitely come again!!”

“This hotel is amazing for the price you can get a room sometimes, 2 Jacuzzis- 1 indoor and 1 outside which is open year round, and big indoor pool. The room was a great size and clean with a full-size fridge, microwave, coffee machine, real utensils, dishes, as well as the usual amenities that you would find. If I had any complaints it would be that there are two doors from pool to get to Bathroom so make sure you take a room card with you because if you forget the people in the pool room can't see you knocking to get in or hear lol! The breakfast was also decent for continental, with warm and cold options.Nearby activities: Across the street from tanger outlets! Also right near a Walmart.”
