Toured this building in Spring, 2021. The apartment I saw seemed nice with a nest thermostat and a walk in closet, but also felt slightly small for the price. The gym is at the top of the building with great views, but they may charge an amenity fee for it at some point if they don't already. I strongly considered living here, but the building allows smoking within units (maybe you can't smell it but I wouldn't want to be trapped in a lease breathing my neighbor's smoke) and there is construction across the street (not sure if you can hear it or not, though), so it wasn't quite worth it in my case. The leasing staff was very friendly and helpful.

One of the better apartment buildings I've lived in. The front desk staff are helpful and the management office is reasonably responsive. The building is conveniently located near the Court Square subway station, which provides quick access to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and LGA/JFK airports.

I LOVED living at Watermark LIC. Truly fantastic building. This is the ONLY apartment in my entire life where I renewed my lease because I loved it that much. I only left because I had to relocate to a new city for a new job. Otherwise, I would have stayed. I was friends with all the staff there, and I miss them already. They really felt like family. The building is not huge like some of the other NYC luxury apartments, and I think it is the perfect size because management has enough capacity to attend to all the tenants. Here are some of the things I loved: - Very friendly staff that was always responsive to all my needs. Brandon, the building manager, is extremely hands on and will come directly to fix anything. Erin and Guy from the leasing office are super communicative and nice as well. They made both my moving in and moving out process extremely easy. - Excellent and reliable doormen. This is SO important to me. I have never had any issues with packages. They were also helpful with sending out packages. Super friendly. - Excellent location. You're one stop away from Manhattan and also super close to Brooklyn. - Superb access to the subway. Watermark is steps away from Court Square Station, which has basically all the lines you need to get anywhere: EM7G. If you need to take the NW7, Queensboro Plaza station is a ~5 minute walk from Watermark. If you need to take the R, Queens Plaza is also super close to Watermark. - Quiet! Even though it is close to all the trains, you don't hear the cars or trains at all at night. - Great amenities. Nice gym (not huge but decent size) with Peloton, weights, cardio machines, etc. There is also a really nice rooftop with a grill which you have to reserve in advance if you want to use it. - COVID compliance. I think the building did a great job in making me feel safe and secure during COVID. They limited the number of people who can ride elevators, they disinfect the gym at every odd-number hour, etc. Honestly, fantastic building. If I have to move back to NYC, Watermark will be the first apartment I call.

Great community, gorgeous gym, rooftop, and lounge! Love everything about living here. The staff is so friendly, they have an excellent team and make it feel like home. Right across from Book Culture. I love the location. Tucked in a quiet nook of LIC. Home sweet home!

The WATERMARK boutique apartment complex in LIC is a recently renovated 27 tower building. Situated in a trendy booming area of New York the Apts comprise a young ,fun ,Covid Safe community.The many features: state of the art gym ,pet friendly , well maintained newly appointed units offer a Covid -tolerant lifestyle.I recently moved there and am very happy with my unit which looks out upon a Manhattan urban skyline.If you have to stay cooped up in quarantine do it here. There’s lots of great take out eateries in the area . It’s a fun friendly environment!!!

Updated for 2019.Onsite staff have been very friendly and helpful! Location is great with access to many subway lines and a short commute to Manhattan.

After some early snags with maintenance, the building is now in great shape. We love the location with a very quick commute to Manhattan via the 7, E, M, N, R, or W. Many new businesses nearby and also an easy subway ride to Brooklyn.

Recently moved into the Watermark and I have to say that it has been a phenomenal experience, staff is extremely gracious, pure class. Very satisfied with the building and nothing can top the location. Bravo, Watermark.

UPDATE (12/2018): Updating my review from 2 to 4 stars for now. A lot of maintenance issues have been worked out and the garage is now available. Only rarely do I still get cigarette smoke in my apartment; I guess some tenants must have moved out or stopped smoking (good - and hope it stays that way). Only thing that still annoys me is how long it sometimes takes for the water to get hot.Pros: Very nice spacious and modern apartments. Great location near subway. Super-quiet. Secure. Friendly and helpful doormen.Cons: On-site management not very responsive. Not a smoke-free community - residents do smoke IN their apartments (and the cigarette smoke as well as food odors come into the other apartments through vents). Lots of maintenance issues with water/electricity/AC (regular water shutoffs and leaks; water pressure is ridiculous). Leasing office a small room in the basement.

This building sets a new standard in LIC. The amenities are first rate, nearly hotel worthy and the design feels modern and new. Love living here.
