The best 99 cent store in Elmhurst.

This place became an essential source of basic supplies during quarantine, and once the city opened back up I kept shopping there because their selection of affordable basics is impressive. Even though the prices are affordable a lot of the products are not poor quality. You'll (sometimes) find brand names like Ziploc, Reynolds, Dawn - all cheaper than Amazon or Target. Masks, hand sanitizer, and GOOD household cleaners and disinfectants are all plentiful. Their tool section is also really great, door stops, rope, screwdrivers, batteries, wrenches, hammers, nails and screws. They have tons of kitchen supplies as well as glassware. Also underwear and socks, hair products. And random things like magnets with funny faces and gaudy pictures of glittery flowers. They pack a lot into a very small space and it's always very organized. And the cashiers are always very nice!

They sold expired N95 masks when the epidemic in the United States was the worst! ! The mask has even expired for 8 years! The label on the outside of the mask box showed that it would expire in September 2020, but after tearing off the label, there was still a layer of label underneath. A closer look reveals that this box of masks had expired in 2012! ! !After negotiating with the boss, not only did I not get compensation, I was also considered a liar by them. This shop had the same owner with 86-30 Broadway across the street. They are a Chinese couple, and I am also Chinese, but I think such people should be severely punished for doing immoral things.

This is the last time I've been shopping in this supermarket. Their cashier's attitude is so bad that he's not friendly at all. I want to say that vegetables and fruits are not fresh at all, and the price is more expensive than other supermarkets. It's not the only supermarket. I suggest that you can go to the nearby SKYFOOD supermarket and US supermarket to buy, their food is no worse than this supermarket!

This place is a typical above average Chinese supermarket in the Elmhurst neighborhood. The location is super as it has both subway and bus stations nearby. I never drive to it, even they have a not small private parking lot behind the store. Usually I stop by to pick limited items which I can carry, and then take the subway for home. The quality and pricing of produces and meat sold here is good. Sometimes the deals of some vegetables are great. The problem is the owner wants to present as many products in a limited space, so it looks so cramped and one shopping cart will perfectly block the aisle. So majority of customers have to shop with baskets. Also, the (live) seafood department is located at the entrance. It's kind of smelly and makes the whole store look a little messy. Overall, I'd like to give this store 3 and half star.

Moved into the neighborhood and went to this supermarket . First impression is that this supermarket is DIRTY!! Everything looks filthy from the walls to floor! Then the prices are so high!! I did a comparison price with the only other market up on Broadway and almost everything is a $1 LESS than this store. I am willing to walk a few more blocks to get a better deal and cleaner store

I can't believe an one of workers is really unfriendly. When I was paying with 10 penny, the woman said they don't charge penny. That's so funny! If you don't charge penny why you give me back change with penny. And she took all of my stuff and said if you don't have money ,don't come here. Everyone looked at me, so embarrassing! That's a really bad experience.
