Not very happy with service from this particular location. Among the various issues:- the app asks you to check in and "pick a car" beforehand, but it didn't seem to work/register, as my car was NOT ready when I arrived.- three employees are "cancelling all other reservations" at the counter when I arrive, as they're closing down for the night. I scheduled for pick-up at 10pm which is, apparently, their closing time. Luckily I had arrived 20 minutes early and was not part of that cancellation; I was able to obtain a vehicle, but not the one I reserved. (More on that, later.)- the person at the front desk kept insisting that they didn't have my vehicle/reservation, despite me proving otherwise: I had the reservation on my app, which had alerted me to "pick a car," and had even printed out the email confirmation (luckily). After dismissing it to some "credit card mix-up" I was referred to the "manager."- the "manager" proceeded to up-sell me, hard. I was not convinced this person was the manager, but they spent a good 15 minutes trying to convince me to upgrade to a larger (more expensive) vehicle and offered me "deep discounts." After politely declining for the umpteenth time, he finally informed me that my car was, in fact, NOT ready. I suspected he had known this and/or had been stalling for time to prepare it.- they offered me a car that was ready and, though it was larger than I wanted to be, I accepted - I wanted to get out of there in any vehicle, at that point. Turns out he gave me the incorrect keys - NOT to the car he initially pointed out to me, in the lot. Surprised (but not) when he then pointed me to the larger car he had been trying to upsell me before.- then the car was dirty: it reeked of smoke (pot?), the rugs had sand, and the windshields were extremely smudgy on the inside. (Not convenient that rainy night.) The seats and the trunk were clean.- the best part: the "manager" asked me to rate him "5" on the survey I would receive. (I have not received it.)My experiences with other Sixt locations have not been like this.

Recently, I had a great experience at Sixt rental car service, thanks to an associate named Linda. She was efficient, making the rental process quick and smooth. Her friendly and professional demeanor was a breath of fresh air. Linda's commitment to providing excellent customer service really stood out and made my experience memorable.

I rented a BMW X3 at this place. The staff is very friendly. I like how they always offer you an optional upgrade of vehicle. At the same time is not like they are pushing about it they are more informative than anything. The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because the car smelled like pure weed, which was horrible since I have a 1 year old and a 12 year old. I had to get air fresheners and ride with the windows down. To make matters worse it was raining.

This was my first time renting from this location and had a wonderful experience! Sentino helped me understand my agreement and find the best package to suit my needs. Him and his coworkers were efficient and made the process seamless.I look forward to renting from them again!

THIS BRANCH IS A SCAM !!!! Stay away from them. I have returned the vehicle as I found it and weeks later they have sent me an invoice for $660 for a damaged mirror. I have noticed it was loose and notified them about it at return. Melissa Stevens, the branch manager assured me I won't get charged for it, yet I got an invoice from the claims department. How do I even damage a mirror? It is not even physically damaged!

Rented a car for Thanksgiving weekend. Took over an hour to receive the car, when I got the vehicle and drove away I noticed the tire pressure was low and the gas 73 miles until empty. Sixt knowingly rented me a car with low tire pressure endangering the lives of myself, wife and 9 year old daughter. I filled the tire with air and returned the vehicle and let them aware of the situation. Now they sent a questionnaire asking if we know we caused damage to the vehicle. This needs to be rectified immediately and my security deposit refunded to my wife's card before a possible complaint to the BBB or I have to take legal action.

90-05 25th AveElmhurst/LGA locationI have been renting from Sixt Morris Ave for the past 2 years and they never disappoint.This is my first time picking up from the LaGuardia Airport, Location and it was a must I give Tanja a special mention. She was transparent about my charges, absolutely accommodating and when I mentioned I would be renting another car in a few days from a competitor, she offered me a deal to extend my rental, in turn, I cancelled my other rental.Not to mention, she set me up with a nice 3 series. Did I also mention, it’s Indigenous Day/ Thanksgiving tomorrow and the prices are sky high.Much Thanks To Tanja and Thank You Sixt,

Tanja provided a superior experience during my time in the LaGuardia location and kicked off the holiday in an unexpected positive way in which I have never experienced when renting a car anywhere. I will definitely return to her for further rentals.

hands down the best rental car company i have ever used. i had been bamboozled and ripped off in the past at other rental car companies, however, sixt, specifically this location (i havent yet been to others) went above and beyond in service, friendliness, quality of vehicles, and pricing.i was taking a short trip to NY (from FL) for a baby shower and needed something nice to get around in. i reserved the full size model via priceline.com. upon landing at LGA, my cousin picked me up and brought me to this location. it is not far from the airport, and although i got a ride, i did see they offer shuttle service to and from LGA as well. brian, the attendant helping me with my rental, really welcomed me on my trip to NY. he offered me an upgraded vehicle at a fair increase, which i was happy with. the car was clean and the tank full. i will no longer use any other rental car company for any of my rental needs !!! seriously.

The worst company! My trip to Italy was ruined. I reserve the car much for advance and was shocked when I came to pick it up, they sad they don't have it. It costed me extra $1000 to rent it from a different company last minute. The staff is rude and unprofessional. Even if they confirm a reservation with you, do not believe them!

Two updates in this review. And it is getting even worse.WORST car pickup service I have ever had in my life. Really. It took total of ONE HOUR to drive out with the car. The problem is that they just dont prepare the car before you come. When you come they just grab a car that was just returned and start to clean, wash and refuel while you are waiting. Probably not checking if all is ok with it. While the manager and some of the staff are standing and smoking outside or browsing their phone. Of course they dont see nothing wrong here. No one to complain.Of course digital checkin is not working - they dont have the car! :) why do you promote it?ALSO. They give the car which is not clean, all interior smells bad, someone was smoking pot before. After waiting this car for hour of course you take what you get, no time for one more hour waiting.All the customers were waiting for the car to be cleaned this day. Some of them were not happy and were not picking up the car, probably because of the quality.Time when you pickup the car on invoicce is half hour earlier, than you really pickup.And the car class also mismatch. But this is clasic - they upsell, say tah they dont have your car and this is classic lie.I will give a try SiXT one more time, but never this location.My longest review in my life too :)UPDATE: sixt contacted me. Cool. But they just asked to take some of my pictures off. Thats it! :) this is a service! :)Update2:Sixt contacted me again. Said that they refund. Two weeks passed and no result after like 5 emails. This is getting funny already! :) you guys rock! Have a good luck finding other customers!Update3: nothing really happened after I contacted sixt customer service. No refund, no atention, no reply. God bye Sixt!
