I went into Sephora 3/9 while I was waiting for my phone to be fixed at Best Buy. Was a young lady by the name Michelle K I believe who helped me in fragrance. She was so sweet and took extra efforts to help me. Was an issue with the product in no fault of Michelle so I had to go in today to exchange it. I was met by a Lovely woman Christina who address my concerns with such empathy and haste. Christina also helped me find a nice tinted lip oil as I don’t have an experience with makeup what so ever. Went to check out and again was meet with Michelle K’s infectious smile and aura! I’m not experienced in makeup but wanted to branch out a bit and if the rest of the team is this helpful and sweet I don’t mind always going to this location. Thank you ladies

The sales associate MEMI! Was disrespectful and aggressive. Put her hand in my face and said calm down , when I never even got loud. I was explaining how I paid for a return. I remained quiet until the end of my transaction and told her that she was super disrespectful to me. And she responded she never is disrespectful, then proceeded to yell “take my name when I told her that I have her name and will complain. She wasn’t apologetic, and she continued to be rude as she yelled across the store at me. Is this the type of employees Sephora hires now? But I wanna give a shoutout to Michelle because she was so nice and helpful . Memi though gets zero stars !

Wish I could give it 0 stars. By far the worst experience I have ever had with Sephora. I do cosplay and theatre things, so I regularly go to Sephora for different shades, products, and even things for my everyday self, and I have never had a problem at other locations. However, in this location, aside from the employees who seemed to not very much want to be there, my friend and I (we are both teenage boys) were kicked out because security believed we were stealing (not mall security, some big burly Sephora security guy). We tried to explain we wanted to check these out and were NOT stealing, he just gave us sarcastic responses and told us to leave. Not wanting to make a scene, we left, but it was awful, embarrassing, and downright terrible treatment.As I said, I regularly shop at Sephora, and have NEVER stolen or been accused of it, as I ask for help, get what I need, and check out. But of course, a teenage guy in Flushing HAS to be stealing, no question about it. It really ruins the way I feel about Sephora, and if this happens again at any location, I will most definitely stop shopping at Sephora. PLEASE make this location better, or just close it if you can't handle being open in Flushing. I know there is a lot of theft there, but if you just kick out every person willy-nilly because your security thinks they know everything, it really ruins the store. For any guys who want to shop here, make sure to bring a neon sign saying "I am not stealing" just to be safe. Absolutely horrible experience.

If you come to this Sephora, you should look for El! El makes this Sephora so special! El is warm, professional, kind, and has a wealth of beauty knowledge. He is absolutely wonderful and was able to answer all of my questions and give the BEST recommendations! I've never come across a Sephora employee like El before - he really went ABOVE AND BEYOND to serve me and my partner when we were browsing the various products. Thank you so much El - Hoping you see this because you are amazing and such a gift.

I came in for a shade match and was super impressed by the expertise by Michelle! She was so knowledgeable about both skincare and makeup, and recommended me a foundation that matched me perfectly for the first time in my life! I highly recommend anyone to ask for Michelle the next time you’re at this Sephora!

I've shopped at Sephora a few times before, and the cashier here had the most arrogant attitude. ?Cashier girls chat with colleagues at the cash register and work extremely slowly. She didn't ask whether the guest was paying by card or cash, and blamed the guest when she made a mistake. ???Her attitude was very uncomfortable and her professional skills were poor.????

I recently visited this Sephora to check out fragrances. The shelves were completely empty with only 5 perfumes from 1 brand available to try for testing. I have never seen a Sephora store with totally bare shelves before, and there were no employees around to explain why or help out? I don't know if it was an anti-theft measure but it makes no sense because even high-traffic stores have tester fragrances out.

Stopped by the Sephora store inside Sky View Center this afternoon after buying groceries. This location has most of the popular makeup/skincare/fragrance/haircare/body care brands just like any other Sephora in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Spacious and clean, aisles aren't narrow and easy to walk through. Conveniently located from the 7 train about a 8-10 min walking distance to get there. I don't know if it's usually crowded on the weekends, but today's Tuesday (a weekday) so it's pretty quiet and peaceful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Tried out on different lipgloss balm and lip plumber shades before deciding which one(s) to buy. Not too many shades to choose from for lipgloss balm, as there're only a few less popular shades left. However, I manage to pick 03 Tan Lines (gold and copper shimmer) & 58 Cinnamon Toast (rosy nude shimmer) for lipgloss balm to blend with 7 Pink Pout (lip plumber) to mix, match & create a new shade. Finished paying for these products in 3 minutes since there's no line.

Lena is the worst sales associate I’ve ever come across. She treated me like I was going to steal the whole time. She’s so rude and makes fun of customers so loudly I feel secondhand embarrassment. She has no right to talk about how anyone looks or laugh at them. She has no place and is the last to speak on how people look. Be decent and do your job. Come here for racism and bullying from customer service!

The sale associates here are horrible. Just a few girls walking around and not doing their job properly. Everyone in the store will make you feel uncomfortable. I have seen someone excessively shop lifting and when I reported it to the workers they just rolled their eyes at me. The staff here needs some training in regard to kindness and respect. The workers are always having personal conversations and laughing but when approached they are cold, rude, and appear bothered. Very unfortunate all my experiences at this Sephora are unpleasant. I will stick to shopping from Sephora online. Also, you do not need to come up to someone more than once asking if they need any help. Sometimes people like to browse in peace! The workers here make you feel like you can’t afford certain items when they have absolutely no idea of who you are or your employment status. Very surprising coming from girls who work retail.
