Was a great location a few years back. Now they’re severely under staffed, the self checkouts are gone leading to huge lines. I feel horribly for the employees who work there- they try their best, but cannot meet the demand with locked up drink fridges, and usually only one cashier at a time. There’s also no self checkout anymore, which dramatically increased the lines. The shelves are severely under stocked, and prices for basic necessities are sometimesDouble what you can find on Amazon

Products look second hand, like they sit on shelves for years. The store looks like almost going out of business. Additionally, the store has parking lot, but you really have to be careful, as they may tow your car if you did not purchase anything and do not have a receipt to prove you 'tried' shopping within but did not buy their product.

I had a terrible experience at Rite Aid Pharmacy. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff seemed indifferent to customers' needs. I recommend going across the street to XOXO Pharmacy for a much more efficient and friendly experience. Save yourself the frustration and time.

I had to come back to Bayside to take care of my parents for two surgeries. The pharmacy is excellent and more organized than most in New York and other states. I moved away from NY in 2007 and come home annually as my family is still here. I'm saddened by the conditions NY policies have put many retail stores in. I know people are frustrated by having so much locked up behind glass. I was shocked by Tylenol/Advil being locked away but it's better than not having access to the medicines you need. The front staff are forced to split their time between cashiers and unlocking things. I had to ask for many things to be unlocked. Is it annoying, yes... but I understand why they have to do it. Considering being pulled in so many directions this location does a fabulous job at accommodating it all. I hope one day they aren't forced to do this to keep losses low.

Lately they seem to b outta alotta daily regular supplements also nobody's ever around to unlock the refrigerators .

The house on the next block is selling for close to 2 million dollars and they have all the drinks locked up? It just doesn't make sense. This rite aid makes you feel like your in the ghetto.

8 years later and STILL the ONLY GOOD aspect about this location are the PHARMACIST(S). They are efficient and helpful. Unfortunately though..now you have to face the pharmacy counter staff that always have a sourpuss face and look extremely irritated having to grab your meds and ring you up. i come here frequently to pick up meds for my dog. I have to face the same sourpuss guy's face everytime. I wish i knew his work schedule so i'll go on off days.. they always apply incorrect goodrx code. Most recently, it should have been $11.xx instead of the $14.xx I gave him the rx screenshot. He gives me an attitude and tells me the invoice has to be redone.....um...ok...so redo it. it is a very unpleasant engagement every - single - time! Wish they had a self service pick up box today i called trying to get meds fille for my dog again...my vet wants me to order with an online retailer in which the online retailer will reach out to my vet to verify but i prefer to get my meds from riteaid. So i called and spoke with PAUL i asked him to please call my vet so they can approve the medication to fill. a slew of unhelpfulnesss....."Well not sure if we have it.... not sure if we can get it......why do we need to call...doesnt make sense.."...yada yada yada... Next time, just say you can't be bothered... wish their app have a note section that you can type your message and communicate with the pharmacist.

Manager was extremely rude and racist. They will you watch you on the cameras before you enter the store and follow you while you are inside.

This seems to be a common trend with big pharmacies now, where not only do they not have grocery bags with handles, but they don’t even sell reusable ones. So if you don’t happen to have a reusable bag on you and you are walking you’re out of luck.

Tow truck watching cars, you don't go in rite aid first get towed and or threatened with a tow. shake you down for cash or they will tow your car. never again......worst store ever.
