Of the three other Marriot properties I have stayed at near LGA (Marriot and Aloft) this one is my new favorite. Technically further away than both other locations although shuttle time to airport did not seem much longer. Rooms were very quiet but on the smaller side, which is to be expected and is the norm in NYC in my experience. The front desk staff (Ada and Mai) were amazing and super helpful when my travel agent booked me on the wrong night. And the shuttle driver the next morning as great as well. 5 stars all around for the staff! My new go to layoff/delay hotel!

Customer service was great during check in. My party was able to check in early which meant a lot after the flight. Loved the rooftop even when the planes flew above. What a treat! I didn’t care to much for how the curtain separatedthe room for the bathroom privacy..Walkability: Lots of places to walk toFood & drinks: Had a restaurant which was okay

Poor customer service and lacked professionalism. Marc and Ron was probably the friendliest and helpful of them all. The hotel lobby staff on the 12th floor was very slow and unprofessional. They were definitely not trained properly because I can see the two female workers talking to each other and gossiping. The hotel was very unorganized they only provided me with only one pair of slippers and two towels for my suite. I would have expected more of an elevated experience because it’s under Marriott. I called the front desk many times for more amenities and waited, never got back to me. The first time I called the worker said housekeeping would come up and bring the slippers to me that never happened and the second time I called they said they ran out. Well they lied because the 3rd time I called they sent housekeeping and they delivered it to my room. So the entire time front desk were lying and being lazy. I would never ever come back or have any of my friends and family stay in this hotel. It’s embarrassing. I rather spend more money at a luxury hotel.

Location was nice , but status get you nothing here. Rooms are very small 3ven at a larger room. You can't exit the bathroom without hitting the shower door. The steakhouse is located on site and that's a nice restaurant.

Good location, close to CitiField and that place where they play tennis- most importantly there are LOTS of Asian restaurants and groceries within blocks. Yum. The hotel is Clean. The decor has a modern/ Asian/ spa vibe. It's also relatively quiet overnight for NYC - as I always bring earplugs to hotels for backup - Nearby LaGuardia is a working airport and you can see the runway from your window the flight path is pretty low overhead. Make your reservations for the free hourly shuttle. Water pressure and temp were good- the control nozzles are odd - the top is direction and the bottom is temp and left is hot- the towels are clean but nothing special- the pillows are very soft and puffy-Not for everyone. The TV service that Marriott uses is truly horrible - the sharpness of the picture is from 1998 (that's bad) and the refresh rate ends up pixelating frequently which is annoying if you actually watch the TV, the sound is good, tho. The staff at the desk and the door were friendly, efficient, polite and effective.

We went to the rooftop for dinner. There's a steakhouse. Porterhouse was the best tasting fare. Unfortunately, this place doesn't have port or Moscato wines. For desserts we had ube cake & this hazelnut pastry that tasted like Rocher

Beware of BED BUGS. AVOID at all costs. We got bed bug bites on our first night here. Couldn’t sleep, ended up leaving the hotel at 2AM in the morning, cancelled all of our next day plans, flew back home on the earliest flight back. Threw all of our stuffs including luggage away because we couldn’t deal with this infestation. To make the matter worse, this hotel is trying to spin the narrative and saying that we threatened their employees (we gave our business cards because we expected them to contact us with compensation and apologies. We also mentioned contacting our attorney if we didn’t hear back from the hotel) and they were scared for their lives? Like what the heck?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh

Critter infestation in the bed and I will upload video and pictures of proof. Once I went down to let the hotel staff know I was told that because checkout was in 6 hours or so that my room Couldn’t be changed and then I was offered 1000 Bonvoy point which was a complete slap on the face. The front desk minus one young lady was extremely hostile and unprofessional. As for management I had to call corporate and Marriott bonvoy to make a claim for what took place only to find out almost two weeks later that Elliott whom I was told is the manager bonvoy spoke with let them know that there was nothing they could do other than give me 10,000 bonvoy points. There was a bug infestation in my bed in the room and THIS is what they offered me. Extremely unprofessional and non empathetic. If you care about quality, professionalism and peace DO NOT stay here. I purposely am leaving this comment without it being anonymous because everything I am writing is TRUE. This maybe in the heart of Chinatown however every guest should be treated the same no matter race and I feel like this played a huge part in this not being taken serious. No I have to reach out to news stations and BBB because I will not be letting this go. They literally tried to sweep this matter under the rug and before you ask I am a platinum bonvoy member and the loyalty to Marriott did not matter to them.Rooms: Rooms look nice however the bug infestation in my bed was a true eye opener. This hotel is like putting lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pigSafety: Not safe, bugs in the bed

I should have read through the reviews before booking this place. There is a BUG infestation going on at this hotel. There were several tiny flies/bugs crawling all over the ceiling and walls of my shower - it was absolutely horrifying and disgusting seeing that (the photos I took don't do it justice - there must've been at least 50 tiny flies running around in and out of the light fixture). I went down to report it to the front desk (the lady didn't seem too concerned) and they were able to move me to a different room on the floor below. They also said they'd let the cleaners know about the bug issue (I doubt that this is just a "cleaning" thing given the other reports on this). They also offered me a $10 voucher for the cafe downstairs, which... I was paying nearly $400 a night for 3 nights...My new room had no bugs, but the cleanliness was still lacking.Given how new the hotel is, I was surprised with how grimy it felt - the bathroom/toilet area had dirt piling up in the cracks, questionable brown stains ? were splattered on the curtain that separates the bed and bathroom. The bolted soap containers in the shower were empty - I'm guessing housekeeping rushes through cleaning each room. And like others have mentioned, the elevator situation is just odd...

Beautiful modern and comfortable hotel. I'm a flight attendant so I see a lot of hotels, but this hotel is one of the coolest I've seen yet. To get to the lobby you have to go to the 12th floor , then switch elevators to go down to the rooms. It's a bit confusing and annoying but I understand the lobby is upstairs for security reasons. Downstairs is a lil cafe. The rooms are cozy and a good size and I love that it has a button on the wall that says if you want room service or not and it displays on the wall outside. The gym is also top tier!

My friend told me about this rooftop bar since we live in the area. Jenni was taking care of us and she was amazing all the while tending entire bar, dinner tables and outdoors. She's very personable and raves about this restaurant and the new chef. It definitely lived up to the hype. We got everything she recommended- shrimp cocktail, bone marrow, ny strip, filet, and mac and cheese along with some cocktails obviously. It was a 10 out of 10. Very memorable experience all because of Jenni! We'll definitely be back.

Very, very disappointed. Booked this hotel for 2 nights for the US Open and was ready to leave within hours. If you are looking for friendly staff this is the place from the supervisors down. Management up not so much, instead they claim to be busy.1st let me express that I called and asked if the amenities are the website were available being that was family was going to the tennis event and I would be staying in the hotel, was told yes.Arrived at the hotel, waited 25 minutes for valet. The valet attended was very nice and was working very hard but the wait time and him being overworked was terrible. Obviously there was a scheduling problem with help.2nd check in was very slow and confusing with other guests due to the elevators. The associates had to continually be interrupted for direction of the elevators. Something simple by hanging signs on the elevator so you are not getting in and out looking for the connecting rooms.3rd the rooms are smaller than dollhouses to the extent of no microwave, no chair to sit on high enough for an average person to sit on and be comfortable, not even a bottle of water available that can be charged to the room.4th the thermostat does not work properly. The room goes from muggy to dry air and with the room being tiny it begins to smell of oil from possibly a restaurant close by. With the airplanes and construction near by, every 3 minutes you feel and hear the airplanes. Don’t bother opening the windows because you then hear the noise much louder and there are no screens on the windows so you begin to battle with flies.5th NOT one of amenities are open that I asked about. Yes the gym is open and beautiful but the pool and hot tub has not been open in a year. When I asked after checking in I was told it was closed for inspection. After going for a walk and seeing for myself I asked again and was told it was never open and not completed. This also goes for the beautiful salt room that is empty and the tennis court that is just sitting there. Very poor advertisement and should be noted, especially when this is someone’s main reason seeking a hotel. Booked this hotel well in advance specifically for these amenities.Rooms: 7th the next morning after not sleeping well between the noise of the planes and the banging in the hallways we attempted to order breakfast. Breakfast through room service was a 45 minutes to an hour wait. Even to find that out took 3 calls to the department where the call continuously dropped. Could have been the signal from the Wi-Fi since you use a cordless phone and the Wi-Fi in that building was already terrible and dropping but we decided to go to the restaurant once again. We then waited 25 minutes for a glass of water and I asked for coffee. The coffee finally came and the sugar and cream was forgotten. I got up myself to go look for creamer and sugar where I found no one to even ask for 10 minutes. So we sat and waited, and waited and waited. There were 5 quests in the restaurant (a table of 2 and a table of 3 who claimed to be waiting for 40 minutes for scrambled eggs) we then decided to go back to our rooms and try room service again. 3 hours into our breakfast adventure, our food arrived with missing meals. So I told them what I had ordered and was told it would be right up. Well the meal arrives and it was missing the sides and it was half an omelet. I then called room service and was told they ran out of food. This is when I called to ask to speak to a manager of either the hotel or the restaurant. I was told they were in meetings. As a manager myself this was unacceptable. I went to the lobby were once again; I was met by a very nice associate of the hotel and was told the manager was in a meeting. Yet watched the associate walk right in to the managers office. She then returned with offering points to a hotel where I have no intentions of ever returning. She also relayed the message that the manager of the hotel and the manager of the restaurant were 2 different people. My issue with that is again as a manager myself you don’t make your staff do your job. T

Overall, I had a disappointing experience with this hotel. I had heard good things about it and decided to give it a try during my trip to New York. I booked a two-night stay, but unfortunately, my flight was canceled due to heavy rain in the city.I immediately called Priceline to cancel my reservation, and they were very understanding and agreed to cancel it. However, when they contacted the hotel, they refused to cancel the booking. I understand that hotels sometimes prefer customers to cancel directly through the booking platform to avoid any additional charges, but I was surprised that they did not honor their policy, which clearly stated that cancellations were allowed. This situation left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. It is disheartening when a hotel does not uphold its own cancellation policy, especially when it had been clearly stated on the booking website. I expected better customer service and flexibility, especially considering the circumstances.I would caution others to be mindful of this hotel's cancelation policy. It appears that they may not always honor their own policies, which can lead to a negative experience for guests.I hope that the hotel takes this feedback into consideration and improves their cancelation policy to provide a better experience for future guests.

Beautiful new hotel. Comfortable, modern and clean rooms. Very trendy design. I arrived very late (early AM) and the front desk staff were so nice and upbeat and welcoming even at that hour! Excellent location with lots of great restaurants nearby (open late) and easy access to JFK, LGA and NYC. Check in is on the top floor with a beautiful view of the city! Unfortunately didn't have time to use much of the amenities, but hopefully next time!
