Malika, the Astound agent who helped me to enroll in the ACP program is OUTSTANDING! GIVE HER A BIG RAISE!! Thanks to her patience, knowledge, good humor and experience, I was finally able to enroll in the ACP program, the most miserable government program rigamaroll I've ever experienced. But due to Malika, who got the ACP rep on the phone with us, I finally got on the right track with ACP, thanks to Malika's guidance throughout. I was SO LUCKY to have gotten Malika as my agent when I phoned Astound. I'd been trying to enroll in the ACP program myself for months, but their instructions for enrollment procedure are hideously inadequate. Then there was the matter of the spelling of my surname, which contains a space -- De Maria. Computers don't recognize me if they don't use that space and I do, the cause of my THIRD REJECTION from ACP. After submitting yet another application to ACP (where I omitted that nuisance space on my application in order to match with my supporting document), ACP was finally able to match my application to my supporting document and confirm that, indeed, I am the same person. All this effort for a lousy $30 reduction on my internet bill. And all the verification statements I had to "swear to" on the phone with the ACP rep -- TEN TOTAL -- well, you'd think I was asking for a key to Fort Knox. The ACP rep was tremendously nice (she's probably sick of the endless ACP protocol), but Malika gets the GOLD STAR. I can't imagine any other Astound agent being so tremendously patient throughout this :45 minute phone call. Malika got it done for me. Give her a raise!

I was having trouble setting up my online account. I had the pleasure of speaking with Miss Pia Leslie who stayed on the line and walked me through step-by-step to set it up. Every company should have customer service this good. Pia Leslie is exceptional exclamation.

Called RCN this morning and reached a rep, Lia Pia. She was so friendly and nice, called us back after just a few minutes upon checking on some information, and set up an appointment for the next day for upgraded internet connection. Could not have asked for better service.

I let my RCN-Astound cable TV provider know early this Monday a.m. that my services had been down for the entire weekend, including internet--and was able to schedule a service call for tomorrow. (NOTE: My outage could have been a result of the epic rainfall recently!!!)BUT, within hours TODAY I heard from KEVIN, a technician in the field, that they had located and FIXED my issue. He was very kind, and even walked me through it all to be sure ALL of my services were up and running. Imagine, within hours of my call !!! UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE.Thank you, KEVIN for such a great job!! And thank you JOHN, for early this a.m. when you went through my entire RCN account and showed me ways ito painlessly cut down on my monthly bill. THANK YOU, RCN-ASTOUND! (a 40-year customer!!!)

I had a very positive experience with Amanda. Not only did she resolve my issue, but we also upgraded to newer/better equipment per her recommendation. She was very responsive, professional and friendly.Amanda is a great representative and ambassador for RCN! Folks, let me give a shout out to Ms. Leslie Pia, exceptional customer service?. A professional, with due diligence to the task(s) at hand. She was courteous and shared human experiences in the positive light. It was fluid, smooth setting to install me, and apply my ACP credit into the Astound Broadband family. Pleased ? with this first impression and follow through induction. Shall recommend any opportunity to spread word to others with that super duper incentive of their service. Five ⭐️ stars ✨ ?

Very fast, reliable internet service. Have never had a problem with them while trying to connect via phone or online chat. Any issue with my bill, they've always resolved it kindly in my favor. Definitely recommend them for Wi-Fi service.

I like to appreciate good/great customer service when received and Tamika B. more than earned that for Astound. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is Astound does not have a clear and consistent communications regarding applying the benefit of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). However, because of Tamika’s persistent due diligence in clarifying, I can now say I am awaiting installation and am excited to be an Astound customer. If they hired Tamika, they must be doing something right so here’s hoping for a happy internet accessing experience.
