“Was recommended this place by a friend and it was delicious! Loved my French toast and the lavender mimosa was a nice hit of booze that I wasn't sure would work but did very nicely. Katie was our main server and she was adorable - we traded pet stories and she was super fast with everything. She even modified a dog dish for human consumption (which was a hilarious conversation) and didn't blink. Will be making my way back there for sure.”
“The best pet store in the area. The best thing about this store is the team that works there. They are knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful with my little pup. After moving here she became very shy but they never gave up on her and now I can't walk by the store without her demanding to go in. A few times, I've had to run over for something and they are always ready to help. She once got a tummy ache and they had just the thing. Oh my gosh and when she had 13 teeth removed and refused to eat, they recommended a yummy chicken broth and it was like magic.”
“I have been buying from this store since it's inception... The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the merchandise and high end dog food. Miriam the groomer is wonderful, she treats my corgi with love and the cost is comparable . I needed a leash and harness for my Corgi who is difficult to fit. Sean ( the owner) immediately assisted me and presented a set that fit perfectly. So if you aren't happy with the prices I suggest that you try PetCo. Renting a store in BayTerrace is extremely expensive probably equivalent to Manhattan rates. I don't mind paying a little more for the customer service and quality merchandise. Thanks Sean! “One of nicest local neighborhood pet stores you can find. Staff is friendly and professional. They really know their products well and provide great recommendations. We buy Primal food for our golden retriever that is hard to find anywhere else. The customer service you receive here is excellent. I highly recommend Whiskers.”
“This location has more in stock then most. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Petco itself could have some better sales for members. For someone who has 3 pets I'm there sometimes 2 twice a month and spend a good amount.”

Mr. Paola treated me very well, and helped me with the entire purchasing process, a very attentive and kind person, she took care of my puppy until he was ready to go home. Wonderful attention. “This is definitely not a fake review. I Google to send info to a friend and seen all these reviews. I must say I did buy a dog from here in 2016, red poodle named Hershey. He got sick 3 weeks later. I took him to the vet and there were issues that caused me to put him to sleep. After speaking to the owner I was promised a similar dog was being delivered 2 weeks later. Two weeks later I was waiting outside the store before it opened and I received my new mini poodle. Today she is 6yrs old with no health issues. Bottom line, in any store that sells animals there’s no guarantee. It’s like having kids…..you just never know. Some problems don’t arise until months to years. What I loved the most was Mark, the owner, felt my fear and pain from day 1…..as promised , according to contract I was offered my money back but I preferred to get another dog. There’s no way good health can be a guarantee. Not even in humans. I do believe you must do your research. If a certain place has a history of selling sick animals continuously then your guard should be up.”

“Still by far the best place in flushing to get pets. I've been coming here since AL use to work here and it's been the best pet store I've ever been too. The owners are super nice and friendly and very helpful at helping you get started with your new pet. I got many fish from here and they're still thriving well today. If my wife allows me one more tank I would get more fish from here for sure. They're the longest running pet store in flushing and by far the best one. If you want to get amazing pets come here they have everything !”
