Wespaw Pets
44-05 Queens Blvd, QueensThe best pet store in the area. The best thing about this store is the team that works there. They are knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful with my little pup. After moving here she became very shy but they never gave up on her and now I can't walk by the store without her demanding to go in. A few times, I've had to run over for something and they are always ready to help. She once got a tummy ache and they had just the thing. Oh my gosh and when she had 13 teeth removed and refused to eat, they recommended a yummy chicken broth and it was like magic.

City Vet
45-44 Vernon Blvd, QueensDoctor Harrington is fantastic! Professional, responsive, courteous, and direct.
First met her in 2023 for a second opinion on my older dog's knee a few weeks after moving to the neighborhood. She made time to see my dog same day and gave excellent advice and referrals to a fantastic vet surgery practice in Brooklyn. I immediately started coming to CityVet first for everything.
In early 2024 she made a quick second diagnosis that another vet at her practice had missed, then performed the needed minor surgery on my dog herself with excellent results that immediately cleared up the issue.
Front desk is generally very responsive in person and over email, most recently going out of their way to follow up multiple times when PetSmart kept botching my flea/tick approval and helped me switch to Chewy.
Highly recommend this Vet!

Glendale Veterinary Clinic
67-40 Myrtle Ave, QueensThis little guy was peeing blood. And constantly leaking stanky fluids, amongst other issues.
Took him to 2 other vets spent a ton of money and the problem would reoccur. Came to Glendale vets and the staff was super friendly, helpful and funny. Made me feel at ease as we were able to joke a little during a tough time for me. I really thought I was gonna have to put him down. After 13 years with him. So I was in a bad place. Either way, Mr Fidel CatStro, (that’s my furry friend If you didn’t figure it out) left there with no more issues. And 3 months later. He is actually more friendly then he was prior to his visits with this vet and safe to say he back and living his best life. Thanks guys. Really appreciate your work. !!

In Home Pet Services, Inc.
88-25 247th St, QueensThank you Robyn and team, particularly Donna and Rianne! Because of you my family is able to go on vacation again! On our weeklong vacation this past month, we were able to leave our senior dog, Pennylu, at home alone. Donna and Rianne visited four times daily. They fed Pennylu twice a day and walked her four times a day which is the maximum number of walks. Our senior dog is incontinent and had several accidents in our house in between walks. They kindly cleaned up after her accidents with paper towels we provided. They keep a notebook of all the care they provide and our dog’s activities. They even brought in the mail! They go above and beyond to provide a reliable service. We are already planning our next trip away and we know that Pennylu can stay in the comfort of our home being cared for by a dependable team. We no longer have to bother our extended family to care for our incontinent senior dog. I am so glad we found this amazing service!

Dog Island City
42-60 23rd St, QueensI’ve been bringing my senior rescue here for three years for his grooming needs, and Dog Island City has done an amazing job with him. He has long hair that requires a lot of maintenance, and they always make sure to ask for a reference photo as well as many questions on exactly what I want his haircut to look like. After each appointment, my dog has a great haircut and an adorable bow tie to show off his new look. Previously, I’d gone to other groomers where my anxious dog has gotten cut or hurt during the process. Dog Island City is the opposite - they always handle my dog with gentleness and care. Aanch
83-47 258th St, QueensTonight was my first time going to this restaurant with my family (party of 4). We tried both their Indian and Indo-Chinese food. Both were of excellent quality. I highly recommend the chicken tikka, soya chaap, kadai paneer, goat curry, veg fried rice, and chicken manchurian. Service was great and food arrived on time. My only concern is that with the food being very costly, the quantity should be equivalent to how much it costs. It was sad to see so less portions of food being given with prices being so high. I wish that this changes. Everything else was lovely. Thank you Aanch!

Burmese Bites
Queens Center Mall Food Court, 90-15 Queens Blvd, QueensThis time around, I went with the chicken dum pot which is their chicken biryani rice. The rice is kept hot in a giant rice cooker and the chicken thighs are stewed in a curry sauce (I think). I think the rice is just not what I'm used to eating, personally I wish it was a bit more flavorful. It was quite spicy though and the spice definitely built up the more rice I ate. The chicken thighs it came with were tender and I wished that they put more sauce on the rice. A good meal for about $13 in the food court.

253-21 Northern Blvd, QueensI had no idea there was such a solid Thai restaurant spot here. The deep-fried whole fish with mango is a must-order to me! The fish is HUGE, fried perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. It might look a little intimidating, but if you love whole-fish dishes, this one delivers big time! Really!
The deep-fried soft-shell crabs were another highlight! Ultra crispy on the outside, and bursting with flavor inside. I love their dipping sauce that comes with the dish too!
