Wespaw Pets
44-05 Queens Blvd, QueensThe best pet store in the area. The best thing about this store is the team that works there. They are knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful with my little pup. After moving here she became very shy but they never gave up on her and now I can't walk by the store without her demanding to go in. A few times, I've had to run over for something and they are always ready to help. She once got a tummy ache and they had just the thing. Oh my gosh and when she had 13 teeth removed and refused to eat, they recommended a yummy chicken broth and it was like magic.

Veterinary Care Group - Middle Village
6209 Fresh Pond Rd, QueensKnowledgeable, patient, and caring team of professionals there. I have nothing but a good things to say about this office that was recommended to me by my neighbor.
I decided to switch from a neighboring vet clinic because I was tired of 5 minute visits with medication only and no word of the cause or prevention.
This office is different, the visits are longer because the doctor actually takes her time to explain the possible root of the problem, the strategy of treating and some animal anatomy. I will surely come back there with my pets.

Glendale Veterinary Clinic
67-40 Myrtle Ave, QueensThis little guy was peeing blood. And constantly leaking stanky fluids, amongst other issues.
Took him to 2 other vets spent a ton of money and the problem would reoccur. Came to Glendale vets and the staff was super friendly, helpful and funny. Made me feel at ease as we were able to joke a little during a tough time for me. I really thought I was gonna have to put him down. After 13 years with him. So I was in a bad place. Either way, Mr Fidel CatStro, (that’s my furry friend If you didn’t figure it out) left there with no more issues. And 3 months later. He is actually more friendly then he was prior to his visits with this vet and safe to say he back and living his best life. Thanks guys. Really appreciate your work. !!

Because of you my family is able to go on vacation again! On our weeklong vacation this past month, we were able to leave our senior dog, Pennylu, at home alone. Donna and Rianne visited four times daily. They fed Pennylu twice a day and walked her four times a day which is the maximum number of walks. Our senior dog is incontinent and had several accidents in our house in between walks. They kindly cleaned up after her accidents with paper towels we provided. They keep a notebook of all the care they provide and our dog’s activities. They even brought in the mail! They go above and beyond to provide a reliable service. We are already planning our next trip away and we know that Pennylu can stay in the comfort of our home being cared for by a dependable team. We no longer have to bother our extended family to care for our incontinent senior dog. I am so glad we found this amazing service!

Fat Puppies INN
39-24 Queens Blvd, QueensI recently got a pup 10 months ago; I shopped around for a doggy daycare for a while to care for my baby while I went to work. After serious consideration and reassuring conversations with the owner J I decided this is the place I wanted to "try" first. That "try" turned into " I am never taking my baby elsewhere"!!!! The care and compassion that I generously continue to receive from J and his staff is so comforting. I worry about NOTHING when my baby is in the care of Fat Puppies Inn. The tailored treatment we get is so appreciated and I am sure unmatched. The rapid responses through the day when I have a question, and videos posted throughout the day leaves me at ease while I am at work. I was totally inconsiderate with the excessive calls in the beginning as if he didn't have a business to run, but never once did he make me feel like I was a bother. :)They also have a boarding service that I will follow up with a review when I leave my baby with him whilst I am on vacation. To be on a vacation and not worry makes all the difference. Imagine going away to relax and you are worried if your baby is active, eating and happy??? Thats no vacation. included in the price for boarding is daycare as well. I personally can't go wrong with that. It's a one stop shop for all your pups needs. they also have a grooming service that I will partake in soon and have a follow up review as well. Fat Puppies Inn Thank you from the bottom of mine and Kanan's heart for all your services, care and compassion for us.

Dog Island City
42-60 23rd St, QueensI’ve been bringing my senior rescue here for three years for his grooming needs, and Dog Island City has done an amazing job with him. He has long hair that requires a lot of maintenance, and they always make sure to ask for a reference photo as well as many questions on exactly what I want his haircut to look like. After each appointment, my dog has a great haircut and an adorable bow tie to show off his new look. Previously, I’d gone to other groomers where my anxious dog has gotten cut or hurt during the process. Dog Island City is the opposite - they always handle my dog with gentleness and care. The staff here are also so kind and it’s clear that they genuinely care for their furry customers. I’m very glad that I’ve found them!

JUQI 局气
133-36 37th Ave G17, QueensNote: Juqi is located inside the Tangram mall. Wow, this place is incredible. Came for lunch on a Sunday and our party of 4 only waited for about 20 mins. We ordered: + juqi signature duck (half) + Juqi fried rice + eggplant of that autumn year + Sliced beef in chili oil + Homemade pancake + Cabbage The sliced beef and pancake were my absolute favorite bites. The chili oil that the beef was in was incredible - we were dipping everything in it. The eggplant was particularly good when dipped in it. Would also recommend the signature duck and cabbage. The only miss was the rice, which had fun presentation (they set it on fire) but tasted meh.

Yumpling
49-11 Vernon Blvd, QueensI think Yumpling is pretty decent. It's not something I get often, but I think it's nice to have a Taiwanese place nearby. Of course, there are better places, but this works for me in a pinch. I like the popcorn chicken, the dumplings, and the lu rou fan. I haven't actually tried the beef noodles, but I would be interested in trying those sometime. I've only ever gotten food from Yumpling to go, but staff seem nice and patient. The place is pretty small, but I'm not one to complain about that (everything in New York is small!). Overall, it's pretty good, pretty quick, and I would return!

Joypot
23-10 Jackson Ave, QueensAYCE Hotpot in LIC near Court Square Station. Prices are quite reasonable for AYCE, and extensive menu of different meats and veggies. I've been here twice, and have always left satisfied and super full. Sauce bar is also solid; it's not as big as some of the other Manhattan hotpot joints but they have all of the essentials. Restaurant isn't particularly big; I would say max for a table to comfortably sit would be like 8ish. Hotpot is also ordered via a QR code, which is nice that you don't have to wait around for a waiter to take your order. Would recommend if you're trying to get AYCE hotpot at a reasonable price in the area.

I suggest that you take the food to go as they don't have a ton of seating inside. Anyways, majority of their menu were sandwiches. They do have a breakfast menu so they're opened for that time as well. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and the chopped cheese one as well all on a hero. Afterwards, they told me it would take 30 mins so I ended up going back home then coming back out as it was brisk outside. It was done exactly in 30 mins.

Korean K9 Rescue

They support you along the way in every single step and provide EVERYTHING. All you need to provide is your loving home, love to the new pups coming in, and drop them off at adoption events. I fostered two beautiful dogs Rose and Kami who just made me sooo happy. If I ever had questions they were always available to help out and I never felt alone.
