I'm not sure what they once were but it's completely gone to trash. The level of absolute unprofessionalism, I have ever personally experienced. The children are transactions and that is it! The afterschool staff is very stand-offish. I've had staff use tones of voice that was shockingly disrespectful, whoever answers their phones needs major training. I can recall not liking hearing them yell at the kids as I walked down the hallway to pick my kid up. The shut the lights off too, I'm not clear on this protocol for children?? What putting them in the dark accomplishes but for $100 a week you get what you get and that's how you and your child will be treated. I'm glad I pulled my kid and when I pick him up from his new afterschool my son is smiling! He's happy! I've spoken with the Hewlett location over the summer so I was shocked at the gross level of service to children at the Rosedale location.

Choosing a preschool for our little one was a daunting task. As parents, trust is paramount, and finding a place where we felt truly comfortable entrusting our child's early education was challenging. However, our worries dissolved the moment we stepped into Our Kids Place.
From the warm welcoming staff to the engaging curriculum, this place exceeded all our expectations.
The staff here radiates genuine care and passion for what they do, making it easy to trust them with our daughter. Each day, my daughter eagerly looks forward to going to school, a testament to the nurturing environment provided by the dedicated teachers and staff.
The curriculum at OKP is not only educational but also tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child. It's amazing to see my daughter's excitement as she learns through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Beyond academics, the emphasis on social-emotional development is truly commendable. My daughter has blossomed here, building friendships, gaining confidence, and developing important life skills that will serve her well now and will utilize in the years to come.
In summary, OKP is not just a place where children learn; it's a community where they thrive. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter here, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing, enriching, and trustworthy preschool experience!

We have been in the Our Kids Place family for over 16 years, beautiful administrative staff, dedicated teachers and a safe and welcoming environment for kids. (Always look forward to the special events and activities) No other place I would send my kids! I highly recommend both locations! Thank you Mrs. Peters!

Our Kids place an amazing school. They have so much to offer kids. The staff and teachers are welcoming, they actively communicate with you on how your child is doing. They work with you to help your children thrive independently, academically, socially, and creatively. Our kids place is not just a school its family, that helps raise confident little schloars. I am happy I found this school for my children.

Unprofessional, I got nothing from this program but women with attitudes. No proper tone when speaking to a parent of a child who did not get pre k, who is busting his lil tail reading and trying to make friends. ADULTS! Alienated and complained instead of helped they weaponized the need for their service. Forced me to disclose personal information and then discontinued after the new year. I'm happy! I want my son where my son is wanted. Period! The terms like danger to himself lol! His school has never ever used this ploy! My son is strengthening his verbal skills nothing else is an issue. They made my child like some deficient mascot. I'm glad the harassment and threats are over! My money will be better spent on the services of my child. Covid was a different monster, I lost my mom and I lost a bit of myself I really need the community and this entity showed me just how cruel people can and those calling themselves professionals. I never asked for the credentials of these teenagers watching my son. One old lady and a bunch of kids. I'm relieved being they yell at them babies that's how I want my son to learn. Slamming lights off, wtf is that? I heard Hewlett was better but I'm done with whole entity. Many parents whose children attend P.S. 38 advised me of way better options.

Love, love this school. My daughters went in the past. Everyone is so pleasant, warm and thoughtful I couldn't ask for a better school for my daughter to be in. She loved going to school everyday.

If you’re looking for a great pre-school to send your little ones, this is the place. The staffs are super friendly. The teachers are excellent, especially Mrs. Lori. She has all the positive qualities a teacher should have; such as care, commitment, dedication, patience, and compassion. Our son comes home every day telling us how great his teacher Mrs. Lori is, Thank you for playing an important role of our son development.

My son went to this school and now my daughter goes there. It is clean, the staff are extremely nice, and you can always get in contact with someone during business hours. I really love all the different celebrations they do of holidays and etc. The kids get to dress up and learn at the same time.

I LOVE this place. My twin nieces attended 6 or so years ago and I decided to send my daughter for Pre-K. Because of the pandemic she does integrated learning which is good because we have an infant and the schedules are a little nuts. However when my daughter is there she is truly cared for and she is excelling academically!!! Her teachers Ms. Camille and Ms. Nora are very responsive to me on school Dojo as well as the school office staff when I email or call them. There are themed months days and weeks so children are socially aware and I LOVE that!!!! The only downfall is that the Kindergarten is at the other location and I wish it was at the Rosedale location which is closer to where we live.Send your children here and give them a chance at a good start in getting acclimated into school♡

All four of my children attended this school. My youngest is currently attending. When the Pandemic hit I was afraid to send her to school. However Our Kids Place and their staff, led me to see that, they can provided a great learning experience regardless of challenges or adversities with the current time given. They are the same pillars of education as they were ten years ago when my first son attended. Several children of my friends and family have also attended. Every child learns, grows and is loved. What more can you ask for!

OKP is truly the place to be! It’s such a positive and warm atmosphere. The staff, teachers, and administrators treat you like family. Both of my sons went to OKP and did AMAZING! I could’ve chosen another school in the area, but when I did my tour a few years ago, they were so friendly! During COVID, they worked with each family to ensure the children didn’t fall behind. Even during a pandemic, they made adjustments that were safe according to NYC/CDC guidelines. When my son graduates, I will truly miss OKP! It’s really the BEST school in Rosedale!

This place is horrible, I went there in November to register my daughter to start in January , they told me they accet they vouches I had. I called them in December to make sure everything was ok, then same month they told me to pass by. When the time came they said I had to go to acs office to switch the voucher to them, gave me the wrong address. When my daughter’s previous day care called them, they said they don’t take those vouchers, why Didn’t you tell me since november? Horrible customer service. Made me think if I really want my daughter to go to that type of place.

My son and daughter both attended OKP Rosedale for the summer and they both loved it. My daughter Lola, is currently attending UPK and she is learning so much. Our ride home in the evenings consists of her telling me EVERYTHING she learns throughout the day! She is so excited to share stories with me and her siblings. Staff is amazing, friendly and extremely helpful! I drop her off in the morning and do not have to worry, I know she is in WONDERFUL hands!
