This is a well appointed restaurant and has a very good, intimate feel. The restaurant has a small outside patio but large dining area. We ate at the bar. The food was very good but simply would like to see an Italian restaurant have staple spaghetti and meatballs. I had the bolognese. The portion was perfect and had a nice taste. Excellent selection of wine and cocktails. A good place for a date or business meal.

The food, service, and ambience were all really good. We made the reservation early because we wanted a place conducive to conversation ~ and it turned out that way. If we had come in when we were leaving [about 8pm], the noise level would not have been as pleasant. Overall, I would highly recommend Osteria Laguna - just time it so you get the experience you're looking for...

It's my "go to place" in the area - never disappointed. Food is amazing -- many choices for pasta and the Mushroom Risotto outstanding. Our server was one of the best I've had here, although, everyone has always been very professional.

Really nice evening out. The service was great, the noise level was perfect (we could actually hear each other speak) and the food was really good. We had the branzino, which was probably one of the best preparations for this fish I have ever eaten.

My friend and I love this place!!! The staff is charming and accommodating. The food and service are both outstanding!! I have been going to Osteria Laguna for 12 years now. It is one of my most favorite places in NYC!!!

I have dined here frequently and it is some of the best food in the city at reasonable prices. Every dish is very well prepared with a beautiful presentation. Very fresh. It is my go to restaurant in NYC. And the staff couldn't be any kinder.

This is my new little haunt while in NYC. It's location - close to Grand Central Station - makes it the perfect place for business meals, lunch with friends, etc. The menu is quite large, making it easy to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters. The wait staff is charming and warm. They want to make you happy, which is lovely these days. For NYC, I find the prices quite reasonable (around $27 for pasta, $26-40 for mains, $22 for pizza, and many bottles of wine $50-60).

It is always a joy to return to Osteria Laguna. I used to live in Midtown East and dined often at the restaurant. The service is attentive, but never pushy. The food is beautifully prepared and served. There is ample seating, and it's never loud. It's the perfect place to catch up with old friends.

The restaurant was directly across from our hotel, which always gives me pause. However, it was a delightful restaurant experience all around. Wonderfully authentic hand made pastas, pleasant ambiance, incredibly friendly and attentive service, and reasonable value especially given the quality and it being in NYC. My little boys loved their meal and remarked what a nice and “fancy” restaurant it was.

Suggested for a great business lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals in a space with just enough energy to have a conversation. Excellent grilled halibut over purple califlower special- look forward to returning soon.

Would definitely go back. Excellent food. My only issue was that our waiter was told that my granddaughter needed gluten free pasta. When our food came to the table he realized he had forgotten to put the order for gluten free pasta. My granddaughter had to order a different meal. Her meal came when we were finished with ours. Had it been my restaurant, I would not have charged for that meal or at least given the party a complimentary dessert

My team and I recently had a business dinner at Osteria Laguna to celebrate the team's success. We had a wonderful time! The ambience, food, and wine made for a truly enjoyable evening.

My husband and I had an excellent dinner there. The grilled calamari salad was superb - very large portions, the squid cooked perfectly. I had the soft shell crab special and he had the rigatoni. All excellent

The service was very good...friendly and helpful. My friend said her spinach pasta was delicious, and my tagliatelle pasta with beef bolognese sauce was quite good. I was a little disappointed with the tiramisu . It was just a little bland. Also, it was rather loud. But, overall,an enjoyable dining experience.

I wanted to meet a friend for dinner near Grand Central. This spot was PERFECT. It was a short walk from the train, the perfect ambiance for almost any dinner (business dinner, dinner with friends, casual or professional). The menu is as solid as you'd find in Rome. And prices were very modest for NYC. So glad I found this place and will frequent next time I'm here. Nothing not to like!
